Tämä täysin kunnostettu viktoriaaninen mökki, jossa on ulkokylpytynnyri, sijaitsee Cascade Creekin rannoilla Cascaden pienessä vuoristossa, joka on osa Pikes Peakin vesistöä. Upeat näkymät purolle oleskelutilan ikkunoista ja
näkymät vuoren harjanteille verhon ympärille ja parvella.
Mökki on isompi
kiinteistö, jossa on päärakennus ja vaunukoti, ja sitä ympäröi vanha metsä. Perusteet: suuret puut, kukkapuutarhat ja yksityinen purosivuinen mini niitty ovat sinun nauttia. Mökissä on ympäröivä kuisti tuoleineen ja kuisti keinuvat katselemaan puutarhoja ja patio vieressä puro, jossa pöytä, tuolit ja hiiligrilli.
Remontoitu mökki on todella "pieni talo" (500 neliömetriä), jossa on kaikki tilaa tehokkaasti omistettu. Pieni oleskelualue, ruokailutila, kompakti keittiö (täysin varustettu mikroaaltouuni, liesi, astianpesukone, jääkaappi ja pesukone / kuivausrumpu), pieni kylpyhuone suihkulla ja valoisa makuuparvi suurilla ikkunoilla vuorilla, metsä ja yötaivas. Vauva puro toimii nukkumassa tonic.
Useita reittejä on etuovien ulkopuolella - joista yksi, jos se viedään sen ylärajaan, vie sinut Pikes Peakin huippukokoukseen. Villieläimet, koska Cascade on juurella, on tavallisia karhuja, kettuja, rotuja, bobcatsia ja peuroja.

We wanted to love this place sooo bad, it was within 15-20 minutes of everything we wanted to do but just had to many problems, especially since we were staying for 5 nights. From the picture & description, it appears that it is set back from the property with ample privacy. The cottage is in the hosts backyard, with houses on either side & up the mountain looking down. There is a window in the bathroom, with no curtain that looks directly on to the toilet. We had issues with the heat, we ended up just getting a space heater & moving that around with us. The wifi is constantly in & out, switching between them made no difference. We were able to sign in to our HULU on the TV. The shower had limited to no hot water & on our 2nd night there while going to make dinner, we found mice droppings in the bottom of the oven with the pots/pans. Since we were traveling with a very active one year old, we ended up moving to a hotel in Colorado Springs to finish out the rest of our vacation. Which was a disappointment as we had gone grocery shopping after arriving - we never even got to cook & having to pay for housing accommodation again. We did contact the host, who was understanding, willing to send out the groundskeeper immediately & did try to help. We were offered a discount for our NEXT stay but honestly a refund would’ve been more appropriate seeing as we only stayed 2 out of our 5 nights.

Required cleaning the refrigerator, washer, and lint trap. Cute and quaint. Heating not reliable as pilot light went out at least twice. Donald was awsome and became fond of him in just a few short days. Overall, was a great spot.

Adorable little cottage, was worried when we first arrived as it is tucked behind another house but it did have plenty of privacy. Also could use some cleaning of the porch and landscaping but the inside was immaculate. Loved the windows in the bedroom to see the mountains when you woke up. It was a great location with lots to do around the area. The host had left a list of recommended restaurants that was very helpful. Be careful if you are tall, my husband cracked his head several times coming out of the bathroom. The futon in the living room was not comfortable for lounging in the evenings and there is no tv in the bedroom. The hot tub was nice but could not get all the jets to work. Also could use some new pillows in the bedroom. We would definitely stay again. It was the perfect getaway. Thanks for sharing your cottage.

This property was exactly as listed. Quaint, well equipped and a great central location to the best things to do in the Pikes Peak area. The property manager was very responsive and we were able to check in a little early. We were met by Donald also who was very helpful and kind. We looked at numerous properties before booking and are grateful we picked this one. Thank you.

Wonderful stay with beautiful views. The sound of the creek was instantly relaxing. Great location near plenty of restaurants, hikes & attractions. Excellent water pressure and the AC worked like a charm. The host and groundskeeper were very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Overall a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed this little cabin! We were here for a conference not far away so we stayed for a week. Everything clean and as described! We had plenty of down time to enjoy the hot tub and even had a chance to head up to Pikes Peak which was nearby. Would highly recommend!

Property manager was great, he had good communication and helped us with any and all issues we brought to him. The cabin is small and would be more suited for a weekend trip in my opinion. We stayed for a full week and found it to be a bit too small for a longer trip. It has a futon couch and so lounging in the evenings was not as comfortable as I would like. The cabin was adorable but the kitchen pans were lacking. It lacked cleaners to tidy up with and there was no dustpan and the vacuum stunk up the whole house when used. The area was great. Local hikes near by. We couldn't get all the pumps to work in the hot tub. It seemed like it had been a while since it was ran because there was a lot of build up in the jets. Besides a few minor inconveniences it was a nice stay.

Wonderful Location!

My spouse and I spent 5 days here for our anniversary vacation. The area is beautiful, and the location is great. It was nice being close to a lot of tourist options but also outside of the city for some peaceful and relaxing evenings. The flowing creek next to the cabin added so much ambiance. The caretaker happened to be outside when we arrived and Introduced themselves and made sure we knew they were available to assist with anything. We never needed anything and still felt like we had plenty of privacy. We hope to rent this wonderful cabin again in the future.

Pikes peak

The property description and pictures online do not actually show what it looks like the pictures look better than in person. The cabin is very tiny the bedroom is upstairs in a very steep incline or you're going to hit your head if you try to open the windows to ggetair you're going to hit your head extremely hot only one little AC unit downstairs portable the couch you couldn't sleep on because it's not a couch it's one of the older futons. Unfortunately this is not a cabin made for families to stay in or even mid to older couples very misrepresented as far as the description. We walked in looked around said no ways is going to work and we did not even stay we left and ended up staying in Breckenridge.

Adorable little cottage

Only a few minutes from the Pike's Peak road up to the summit, and 15 minutes from Colorado Springs. Very good location with quiet evenings. If you have the windows open you can hear the creek running as you fall asleep.

Tranquil & Tucked Away

We loved the location and layout of this tiny cottage. Falling asleep to the sounds of the babbling brook made for pleasant sleeping. The stairs weren’t as big a challenge as we feared, but could be an issue for some.

I purchased this property because of its historical significance. I like older homes and the 'big house" (behind which is the cottage) was the first home built in Cascade . Cascade itself was a resort community in the late 1800's, populated mostly by people from Kansas who bought second homes to escape the summer heat and is now populated by those of us who like the rural feel yet easy access to the city. Those of us who live here feel this is a special place.
