"Puanani", havaijilainen kauniista kukasta, on havaijilaistyylinen perheen koti, joka sijaitsee hiljaisen umpikujan päässä, helpon kävelymatkan päässä Hanalei Baystä ja kaupungista. Suuri piha, jossa on plumeriaa, hibiscusa, yöllä kukkivaa jasmiinia ja rehevä puutarha, jossa on melodisia laululintuja, voidaan nauttia edestä ja takaa peitetyillä lanaisilla. Korisilla ja bambukalusteilla koristeltu ja avoimilla palkkikattoilla ja luonnollisilla setriseinillä varustettu talo on tilava, mukava.

Hanalei Bayn puolikuun ranta on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä aurinkoa, rantakampausta, kausiluonteista upeaa ja upeita auringonlaskuja varten. Kävele rannalla historialliselle Hanalei-laiturille nauttiaksesi upeista näkymistä ympäröiville vuorille ja vesiputouksille.

Toinen lyhyt kävelymatka vie viehättävään Hanaleyn kaupunkiin, jossa sijaitsee lukuisia kauppoja ja ravintoloita sekä markkinat ja posti. Tutkitessasi tätä historiallista kaupunkia, maistele paikallisia suosikkeja, ajeltua jäätä ja smoothiet.

*** Peruutussäännöt *** Peruutukset, jotka tehdään 1/6 - 12/14 välisenä aikana, vaativat 90 päivän kirjallisen ilmoituksen alkuperäisen talletuksen palauttamisesta, josta on vähennetty 75 dollarin käsittelymaksu ja palauttamaton 50 dollarin varausmaksu. Jos alle 90 päivän kirjallinen ilmoitus, koko alkuperäinen talletus menetetään. Vuokra ja valmistevero pidätetään, mikäli alle 60 päivää kirjallisesti ilmoitetaan siitä. Peruutukset varauksista 12-15-15 / 05 edellyttävät 120 päivän kirjallista ilmoitusta alkuperäisen talletuksen palauttamisesta, josta on vähennetty 75 dollarin käsittelymaksu ja palauttamaton 50 dollarin varausmaksu. 1973 Beach Cottage Time Capsule

This property ended up becoming our home for 4 days and not just a place to sleep and plop our stuff into. The location can not be understated, the beach was 5 minutes in one direction and town was 5 minutes in the other. All you need and more is within walking distance. The property was incredibly clean and every drawer had exactly what you needed. There were plenty of towels provided and a larger main bathroom than I expected. There were also unexpected beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a beach umbrella provided in the laundry space. There was an overall sense of love and care to the space that was palpable. We can’t wait to come back. I can’t leave a review without mentioning that if you are needing a/c or a dishwasher they won’t be found here. This place is a true beach cottage from another time but that isn’t a downgrade.

Great place

Terrific location - just a short, 5-minute walk to the middle of Hanalei Bay beach.Very nice place, with much more character than a condo.Only problem was a rooster who started crowing before midnight and kept it up off and on for the rest of the night. I asked my son to get out of bed, go find it, and make us some rooster fricassee. But he wouldn't.This happened only one night out of 5. No idea why.

It is in a great location in Hanalei - a couple blocks to the shops and the beach and has a very nice garden and deck area. The neighborhood is a bit of a challenge however owing to the complete lack of soundproofing. Quiet time is mentioned but this includes INSIDE the home too. Forget watching TV after dinner for which we were visited, yelled and swore at. I enjoyed a similar experience a couple days later (without the visit) for talking too loudly while doing the dishes at 8 20 in the evening.Bring a good book. Go to bed at 8pm. Talk to no-one for the remainder of the night and you'll be fine. It is a house I would have gladly returned to but NOT in the current environment - nor will I be encouraging friends and family to go.

We had our coffee in the morning on the deck (you could smell the plumeria tree close by.) The outdoor shower (with hot water!) was a huge bonus! Washer/dryer came in handy. So did the beach chairs and umbrella. The house does not have AC, but that didn't bother us at all. We closed the drapes during the day and the evening ocean breezes kept us plenty cool over night. Will definitely book this house again. We loved it.

Reviewer Comments: Puanani is a great little house in a fantastic location just a couple of blocks off the Hanalei strip of shops and restaurants on a quiet cul de sac (save for the 5 AM roosters). It was perfect for our family of four (our adult children shared the room with twin beds, I and my wife slept in the master bedroom). The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms indoors, plus an outdoor shower. The electric range was fine, even for a gas snob like myself, and there's a large gas grill. Outdoor table on the deck makes for pleasant meals. Washer/Dryer and 4 beach chairs and umbrella were on site, a nice bonus. No AC and no dishwasher, but we were never hot (in April temps peaked at around 80). If you are looking for luxury, Puanani is not for you. But if you are looking to live comfortably "like a local" for a few days in the best part of the island, I highly recommend.
