Dall'altra parte della strada dalla spiaggia su un terreno privato di un acro! Fool's Gold offre viste sul Golfo dal comfort di una nuova casa! La zona giorno offre una grande sala aperta con una grande cucina ben fornita, una spaziosa sala da pranzo e un comodo soggiorno con una grande TV a schermo piatto. Il portico anteriore, proprio fuori dalla zona giorno, è ottimo per guardare l'alba sul caffè del mattino o per ammirare un ottimo tramonto con un drink pomeridiano.

La camera da letto principale offre un letto king size, TV a schermo piatto e bagno privato con doppio lavabo e cabina doccia. Ci sono altre due camere da letto, una con un letto matrimoniale e l'altra con una doppia più letto a castello. Entrambe le camere dispongono di TV a schermo piatto. Un bagno completo e lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice si trovano anche in tutta la sala.

C'è una doccia chiusa con acqua calda e fredda situata proprio sotto la casa per il risciacquo dei tuoi piedi di sabbia. Anche al piano di sotto, c'è una griglia in stile campeggio con posti a sedere in più e giochi per la famiglia. Vi è l'accesso alla spiaggia di proprietà proprio dall'altra parte della strada!

Forniamo alcune sedie a sdraio, galleggianti, giocattoli da spiaggia e un ombrello per le vostre giornate sotto il sole.

Si tratta di attività all'aria aperta a St George Island e la nostra proprietà ha un sacco di spazio per il parcheggio, quindi non esitare dall'idea di portare la tua barca o golf cart. Siamo a 0. 5 miglia dal St George Island State Park. Il parco ha una rampa della barca, molti punti di accesso alla spiaggia con parcheggio pavimentato e bagni pubblici. È inoltre possibile acquistare un pass dal Parco per la pesca dell'East End Cut. È un bel posto! Ci sono altre divertenti funzionalità sull'isola! La pista ciclabile si trova dall'altra parte della strada rispetto a Fool's Gold. Il parco con campo da basket e parco giochi è a 0. 7 miglia di distanza. Inoltre, sali i 92 gradini fino alla cima della storica St. George Lighthouse per una vista mozzafiato a 360 gradi del nostro delicato ecosistema: Apalachicola Bay Estuary, St. George Sound, Golfo del Messico, Little St. George Island e St. Vincent Island.

Nice beach getaway

We had a relaxing stay here. This property would be excellent for a family or larger group. Spacious and near the beach. We enjoyed the state park nearby. Host is quick to communicate and place was very clean.

A wonderful time was had by all

Despite the name, Fool's Gold is a real find. The house is new and well-appointed. It was blissfully quiet in the evenings, comfortable through and through, and well thought out. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place!

Great place to stay on St. George Island

This home was perfect for our trip, which included kids ranging from 2 to 10. We had a great time there and found the property well equipped with working appliances and comfortable beds. The walk to the beach was just as advertised and we would recommend this property for anyone interested in visiting St. George Island, especially if you are coordinating with a family camping at the State Park.

The house was absolutely perfect! It sits on a beautiful wooded lot directly across from the ocean. Everything was up to clean and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils ,bowls ,pots & pans.

Exactly what we needed

Our stay at Fools Gold was just right. The house is comfortable, very well equipped and nicely located on the island. Sarah, our host, was very friendly and easy to work with. We are looking forward to renting again next year!

Lovely ocean view

We are neighborhood ladies who were looking for a quiet beach trip to relax and kick back. We sat on the front porch with coffee/tea each day and watched the sunset on the front porch each night In between, we went to the beach, shopped and ate delicious food. Trip was everything we hoped for and we thank our host for all she did for us.

Just what we needed

We had an amazing trip. Kitchen was stocked just as we needed. Everything was very clean. Only wish there was an outdoor space for dinners but everything else met our expectations. Owner was always available for our questions. Thank you ! We would love to come back

Perfect for our family!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here! Our first time to SGI but definitely not our last. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. The walk to the beach isn’t bad and the privacy at this home is unmatched. Wooded lot on 3 sides. The home has beach chairs and 2 kayaks as well. Our 2 teenagers enjoyed having their own rooms. Lots of spices already there so check the house before you go shopping. The frying pans and sheet pans have seen better days, but we made it work. We would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome

Awesome place. Exactly what was listed and exactly what we wanted/expected. Sarah was great before, during, and after the vacation. Will definitely stay again. Reviews say not close to beach....that is a lie....5 minute walk through private resident boardwalk deeded to the house. Yes you can see the water from the house, yes there is plenty of parking, yes there is everything you need, and if you have questions, Sarah will help you!

Wonderful family getaway!

We had a great stay at this property! Nice new'ish home. The house was in great shape. Kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed. We spent alot of time on the front porch looking out over the ocean, reading and just enjoying each other's company. Beautiful beach is short walk and easily accessible. It was a holiday week, but it did not feel crowded at all, which is what we were hoping for. Nice outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. Bike riding is good on St. George with dedicated path. State park at end of island where we stayed was beautiful! There is not an abundance of good restaurants on the island. Our best meals were in Apalachicola and Port St. Joe. Overall though, a great stay and we were grateful to have found this property and experience St. George!

Serenity Now

St. George Island is the perfect place if You like quiet, beautiful, beaches on a island not crowded with over development. Fools Gold is a beautiful home situated right across the road from the beach access. It’s literally a two min walk to a beautiful quite stretch of beach. The home is very nicely decorated, and very well maintained. Surrounded by woods and very private. Front porch is awesome for morning coffee and enjoying the sunrise while looking over the torques waters of the Gulf. One mile away is a beautiful Florida State park. My wife Says she could live in that house. The owners has always been very helpful and communicates well. Second time staying at Fools Gold and looking forward to going back.

Great Mini-Family Vacation

Sarah was great, hospitable, and easy to communicate with and accessible! We visit St. George yearly and have been doing so since 2000 - The island holds a special place in our hearts! This was our first time renting this house, it was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay at the beach. We even left a few things for the house and renters to follow - beach and sand toys, kids nets to catch crabs on the beach, and other various beach items. The only part that was confusing was the beach access - we were stopped by a house directly across the street (beachside) who stated that the beach there was private and we needed to go to the public access areas. However after speaking with them and sharing some commonalties they agreed to allow us to use their access and hunker down on the beach for the duration of our visit. Overall a great vacation and stay!

Great Place

Everything was exactly as described. There was plenty of room and love being on the end of the island away from town. The walk to the beach was so easy. Sarah was great to communicate with. Would 100% recommend this property

Great home on SGI!

Amazing stay on SGI! Fools Gold was perfect for our family of 6. So clean and well appointed with everything we needed (even included a high chair and pack n play). Only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Best location on the island. So private but easy to get everywhere. Communication with Sarah was great! She brought a new coffee maker over when the one there didn’t work. Very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this home and can’t wait to go back!
