Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can not say enough about how great the house was. Summer Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was amazing. I have stayed up and down the Carolinas coast and this was the best by far! Great location, excellent ocean views from the top porch. When the kids did not want the beach, the pool was just as much fun. The pool house and cabana were their own oasis. Island Realty was very easy to work with.

Fantastic Home and Management Company

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best vacation home we have ever stayed in! Thank you to the owners for making it available for others to enjoy! Our group of 11 had a wonderful stay at 3003 Palm. The house is amazing, great layout for a large family and just steps from the beach access. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! There are porches with comfortable furnishings everywhere and the cabana, pool and pool house were wonderful. The elevator makes unloading and loading very easy. It was also nice to have an elevator to transport food from the kitchen to the pool/cabana area. Hope we have the opportunity to return to this beautiful home again. Can't say enough about how great the service was with Island Realty. We had a couple of needs during our stay and they were taken care of immediately. Check in/out was super fast and easy. We are repeat renters with Island Realty and will only rent through them when visiting the area. Highly recommend this home and Island Realty!

Great house with even better views!

The house was EXACTLY as pictured - the amenities were superb and our group loved being such a close walk to the beach. If we had any questions the response time was extremely fast as well - would definitely return to IOP!

family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the layout was great, and having the guest house was perfect for us, since my son has a pretty fussy baby. The house definitely is looking a little tired, ie, the carpets and chair covers need replacing, but with two babies under 2, it was nice to not have to worry about getting anything dirty. Some other issues-the pool definitely needs to be resurfaced- we had lots of scraped feet and toes. Also, all the pool floats are ripped or punctured, and were just left in a pile. Also, the heat for our hot tub was not turned on until Monday afternoon, and our oven did not work consistently. We finally gave up on it and just used the grill. We loved the location-being right across the street from the walkway to the beach and being able to see the water from the living room window was perfect!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're so glad the home's layout, guest house, and beach access were a great fit for your family. We appreciate you bringing the maintenance items to our attention. The oven issue has been addressed, and a replacement part has been ordered to ensure it is operating properly for future guests. We've also shared your comments regarding the pool and furnishings with the homeowner for review. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay.

Great Stay for Friend Group Getaway!

We had an excellent stay at the property! It was exactly as it looked in the photos, and it was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach, but right inside a lovely neighborhood, with a shopping center in walking distance. It was a 25 minute ride into Charleston. Check-in and check-out process was easy, and we had great communication regarding having our hot tub heated. We comfortably fit a group of 11. Would definitely stay here again!

Slight maintenance problems which were immediately addressed. Needed new corkscrew and platters: they immediately showed up. Super clean upon arrival. Fabulous porches with ocean views. Love those bed swings for reading! One issue: dishwasher needs replacing.

Family Get Together

Good size house across the street from the beach. Looks beautiful, unfortunately our stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. A couple of dirty towels on the floor when we first entered, but at first didn't think much of it. Primary reason we chose the house was for the pool and hot tub. The pool was filthy and in no shape for anyone to swim in it. It was finally cleaned after numerous calls but not handled well. We were not able to use the pool for half our stay. The management company stated there were known issues with the pool company. A bit frustrating to hear they knew and did not nothing prior to our check-in. Once the pool was cleaned the hot tub ran into issues and that took another day. We hoped to be hanging by the pool everyday, but only had one day to do so.

Thank you for your comments. Sorry you gave such a poor review after the weather caused the pool not to be cleaned after serious thunderstorms 2 of your 4 days. Thankfully we were able to get someone out to clean the day after the storms. You are certainly welcome for the discount we applied for the troubles as well, despite the majority of the issue being weather related.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying in this house. It is beautiful. Island realty provided great service. The view of the ocean is magnificent, although the house being built across the street will change that soon. The layout it wonderful for all of us to have space when we need it and large gathering areas to spend time together. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. Due to Covid-19 we stayed in and cooked at home. It was a great escape. In my opinion, there are only two things that would make this place better. The first would be to have a net to clean the pool as there were many leaves and bugs in it each day. It was full of grass on the day the lawn was cut. The other is to have different dinning room chairs. The chairs are stained and sink low when we sat on them.

Wonderful property, not well outfitted

This is an extremely comfortable beach house for a group of adults. We thoroughly enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and having the sunny pool area in the afternoons. The Island Realty management team was also great to work with. We were disappointed that the house was not well appointed with many of the things one would expect in a higher-end beachfront rental property. There are no beach towels, no beach chairs, very limited cleaning supplies, limited bath towels, limited / low-quality soap and shampoo, no cooking oils and limited spices etc. We flew in from out of state so bringing many of these items was not something we had thought to do. There is also not a first aid kit. Additionally, there is a Sonos system which we eventually got to work but not in all rooms. Instructions would have been helpful. I would encourage the owner to be more thoughtful in providing the essentials and nice-to-have items for future guests. Otherwise, great house, great location!

Thank you for your comments. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sorry there was a lack of beach towels and beach chairs. They used to be provided but past guests had trouble returning them, but we do offer vendors information to rent beach chairs and towels if needed. The house is stocked with plenty of bath towels for each person, as well as a washer and dryer if needed. You can also call and request extra towels as well during your stay and housekeeping can deliver them. We limit the number of oils and spices as we do not know which guest might have allergies to certain items. So to be careful for our guests those items are limited. There should be printed and laminated instructions for the sound system in the house, but if you are unable to find them we have staff on have 7 days a week from 9-5 to help assist with anything you need. We appreciate the tip on the first aid kit as that could be a great item to have in the house. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and well appointed. The guest house is a great additional space. Everything was clean and tidy! We loved the outdoor space with the lounge area (and 2 TVs) and pool and hot tub..There were two beach accesses that were a very short walk from the home. Sadly, we had terrible weather and a power outage. The real estate company came out to check the property and to see if we needed anything. There were lots of games, and puzzles to keep us occupied during the storms. Aside from weather, we loved our vacation. We would definitely recommend this home.
