The place was clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the bed and I had to sleep on the couch the second night. The bedroom smelled like cat pee I think or some sort of urine. Overall it was nice.

Cute cabin

Nice little cabin close to the river. Enjoyed the evening on the deck. Just a heads up- it gets really warm in there so open up windows and turn on all of the fans, especially if anyone is up in the loft.

Wonderful bundle of outstanding things

Small cabin is utilitarian. Outdoor BBQ and bar was great. Waitress O’Brien was delightful. Cleaning staff found and returned to us an earring we didn’t know we’d lost before we left the property. 🤗👏

Perfect Stay

We stayed at Three River Resort cabin for 4 days and it was perfect for our family. When we arrived, we were greeted with smile faces and the check in process was easy and also gave us some recommendations if we wanted to do things around there. When we got to the cabin it was very clean and ready to be used. It had everything we needed. Plus the kids loved their own space on the loft. It was in perfect location to Crescent Butte, Taylor ParkReservoir and Gunnison. I highly recommend these cabins, especially for those with little ones not wanting to sleep in tents but want to be close to everything.

Minor complaint was the bed was a bit older and creaky. Good restaurant walking distance. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils. Overall very nice.

Resort was only a few minute drive from Gunnison or Mt Crested Butte. Restaurant on site was very good with a great selection of foods. Close to the river and fishing, mountain climbing. Would recommend to family and friends.

Cabin View

The cabin was great, except the futon sofa needed new pads. Extremely uncomfortable. The staff gave us extra pillows but that really didn't work. For the cost of one nights stay, the futon pad could of been replaced.All & All it was a very relaxing place to stay. If we go back we won't stay in cabin #30

Short and Sweet Stay

Reviewer Comments: I reported a few inconveniencies and I will repeat, the shower head was all over the place, trying to find a good consistent spray from it was challenging. The sprinkler system was targeted to hit our windows so we couldn't open them in the mornings. The picnic table needs to be fixed as it is broken. The kitchen rug is old and worn and could be updated. The kitchen faucet base leaked water when using cold water. Other than these issues, the place was clean.

Great place to stay. Great location. Cabin was clean and checking in was a breeze. The staff were all really nice. I really appreciate responses to my inquiries ahead of my trip about my concerns regarding wildfires in surrounding areas and air quality. They updated me on the weather there and offered to change my reservation to a later date to ease my concerns. Ultimately I kept my reservation but really appreciated the option. I would definitely stay there again.

The only item I would improve is that we stayed in a cabin/tiny home off the water. I didn’t realize some of 3 Rivers’ cabins weren’t on the Taylor. If you are specifically looking for a place on the River, double-check with the resort.We stayed here for almost 15 days and enjoyed it thoroughly. Location between Taylor Res, Gunnison, and Crested Butte was perfect. Restaurant onsite was great when we didn’t want to cook. We didn’t fish or raft, but could have.Highly recommend as a destination in the Gunnison-Crested Butte corridor.

We had 'bad' neighbors one night though - music on past midnight - no enforcement of the quiet hours. Natural justice though - a bear spent the rest of that night going through their stuff which they had left strewn about - so, we had to laugh.

Awesome place to stay on the river

Roomy, appliances, dishes, easy access to gunnison and crested butte. Restaurant was ok, not our favorite place to eat with our dog - food is decent, larger portions - more than what one person could eat in a sitting. Can't wait to visit the cabins again.

Plenty of sleeping area but living/dining areas on the small side. Very clean and great location. Definitely need to take all toiletries with you as well as all condiments you might need. Food at restaurant was exceptional and reasonably priced. Staff was beyond hospitable
