The house was great! Zero complaints! Also, the beds were very comfortable!!My only recommendation is that the house comes with a “1 free bike rental”as an option - I would 100% rent bikes another way! They sent a link with instructions to share the link with other folks in your party. We did just as instructed and the bike rental process was an absolute mess!! It resulted in no less than 10 phone calls, multiple refunds and reprocessing with price increases of orders. We ordered 4 bikes and ended up with 6 delivered and hoping the ending charges will be accurate. Save yourself the headache and enjoy the beautiful home!!

We enjoyed the home immensely. Great location and amenities. Property managers responded quickly to questions and kept in touch to be sure we were enjoying our stay!

Great Beach House!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is incredible and so clean, and it's just a short walk from the beach. Working with the management company was a breeze and the perks offered through Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were wonderful. We'll be back!

We really loved the property! Nice access to beach and parks, convenient to island thoroughfare. House was well appointed and updated. Great entertainment spaces, lovely outdoor area. Would highly recommend!

August 2020 Stay

Great house, very quiet, having 2 refrigerators was very nice. Great neighborhood with less populated beach. House is across the street from the area park that includes a great dog park.

Beauty and Bugs

This property is a wonderful option for flare families or groups of friends. It would be a solid 5 if we were able to use the pool with being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Otherwise, a great place, location and beach!!

So Comfortable and amazing vacation spot

Our week here, quickly became a discussion of a annual place to retreat to. The owners were quick to respond with detailed information, professional communication, and the accommodations were perfect. For our family, with little ones, this was the perfect space for everyone to have a comfortable room, plenty of common space, and so close to the beach. We loved the pool area, and the convenience of the location to all the stores, shops and the fact that it is a quick beautiful walk to the ocean without the higher cost that oceanfront brings. We will be returning and have recommended this spot to multiple other families for future vacations.

Great location!! Enjoyed our stay.

We arrived to a very clean, comfortable and spacious home. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans coffee makers etc. all the bedrooms and bathrooms spacious. Outdoor living space by the pool could not enjoy due to mosquitoes. We enjoyed the access to the park across the street. Busy weekend for beach access, parking was challenging. Vacation Homes was extremely helpful and responsive!!!

50th Anniversary Trip

We stayed here over the 4th of July week to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. So, there was my family of 4 l, my brother’s family of 5 and parents. The house was just the size we needed to accommodate 5 teenage boys that are 6 ft to 6’5. The outdoor lower level space was perfect. The pool is small, but a great cool off after time at the beach. Which I think is the purpose😁 My only drawback is the location is not near Coligny and other restaurants. However, I would stay here again. Loved the shuttle service to and from beach; definite plus.

The house is well laid out for a large group to spend quality time together and still have space for solitude. My only caution is that the pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and though we visited off season, the outdoor space is a bit dingy. Access to walking trails and the beach was wonderful!

Awesome !

This house is incredible. So much space. The pool was perfect and shallow enough that my 7 year olds could stand. Dog park directly across the street! House was close to Singleton Beach which wasn’t as busy. We were able to social distance safely. Pool area has a shower, outside shower, and a fridge, with interior stairs to the kitchen. You will need bikes or u can use the beach shuttle (golf cart). No public beach parking which is a plus!!! Short drive to Shelter Cove and grocery stores.

Pleased!

A very nice property with all the amenities we expected. Convenient location and a pleasant walk to both the park and beach. A very good state of condition and cleanliness throughout the home, much better than other rental properties we've used. Made our initial set up before the rest of the family arrived much easier. One thing to be aware of is the mosquitos are plentiful, and they really congregate at the door leading down to the patio/pool area. Open the door, and into the house they come. Would be great if you could figure out some remedy to this. Probably draining/treating/aerating the small retention pond in the back would help.

Amazing location and house!

Loved the location. The beach was only a short 2 minute ride. There was a dog park about a 5 minute walk and a children's park about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute ride. The only thing I was not a fan of was no easy way to put up a safety gate to keep the little kids from going downstairs. I worried that they would get down the stairs and into the pool without us noticing. The rug at the bottom of the main stairs slid alot and I worry in the future that an older rperson might fall. Other then that the house was perfect.

Great stay on HHI!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family group of 12 people and 1 pooch had a wonderful stay at 5 Henry Lane. The home was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. The well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for the week. This home is located in a quiet, shady neighborhood across the street from Chaplin Park which has a wonderful dog park and playground facilities. Singleton Beach is 1/2 mile away, perfect for evening walks. The shuttle service was great for daytime beach excursions with lots of stuff. The downstairs area by the pool is perfect for hanging out with comfy seating, a second full size fridge and full bath.The only suggestion I have is the addition of some type of high flip latch on the inside of the keypad doors. Both of these doors open directly onto stairways and the lever type handles are very easy to operate for the youngest toddlers, as our 2-year-old showed us on day one. This easy addition would make this great home a safer stay for your youngest guests. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable week!

Great location

Better than expected! The location was a very convenient walk to the beach if you wanted to, but there was also an excellent golf cart shuttle service that a family (husband, wife, son, and dog) drove daily. Very easy to give them a quick call and get an easy maybe one minute ride to and from the beach. There is also conveniently a beach bar called Cocos that is not far at all from where you enter the beach. That was an awesome advantage because you could hang out at the beach all day with access to fresh lunches and cold drinks. The house was very nice and worked perfect for our group (6 adults and 2 kids). The kitchen was tight to us, but it wouldn’t be enough of a reason to not rebook this house. We had a couple tiny maintenance issues that were quickly resolved. The multiple balcony areas are great and the trees offer lots of privacy, we even had a hawk come land in a tree and hang out with us for a little while. The pool is very small (pictures make it look bigger in my opinion) but it was ample to just hang out in after the beach or days you needed a break from the sun as it was mostly under the porch. Great little hang out area with fans, plenty of seating, a grill, outdoor shower, and full bathroom. It’s also great to have access to the garage to store beach gear because not all houses we book on other beaches have that access. You won’t be sorry if you book 5 Henry on Hilton Head!

There were 12 of us, including kids, and there was plenty of room. The house was clean and furniture up to date. The location was great in regards to quiet and peaceful area; however, it is a good hike to the beach, especially with smaller kids and beach equipment. We opted for the beach shuttle which was excellent and arrived quickly each time we called. The pool is on the smaller side and generally cold as it gets no direct sunlight but that was shared ahead of time so we weren’t surprised. It did work for the little ones to cool off quickly or take a quick turn in the water for fun. The sitting area beside the pool was nice with a grill and a tv!The rental company was EXCELLENT! They were informative, helpful, and responses were always prompt. I can say I’ve never dealt with a more pleasant and attentive rental company. I will rent with them again every time I come down. Very pleased!!We took advantage of some of the complimentary activities that come with the stay and it was easy to book and enjoyable. That was a great plus! We would definitely stay here again!
