Fabulous resort including staff

A typical Marriott property with great facilities and staff in the midst of an impeccably landscaped plantation. The pictures on the website are true to form. A great place for a beach vacation.

Lovely Beach Vacation

You will be pleased with your stay at Marriott's Barony Beach Club on Hilton Head Island. The two-bedroom unit is clean, newly remodeled and complete with accommodations that make it feel like home. The property amenities offer something for everyone: 4 pools, water slide, beach, hammocks, shuffleboard, live music, cabanas, gas grills, spa, poolside restaurant/bar, resort activities (trivia/bingo games, meet/greet with mermaid, etc.), bike rentals, fire pit, etc. Altogether, the unit and the property make a perfect backdrop for a memorable vacation. My interaction with the owner was flawless; a real estate representative answered my check-in questions immediately. The paperwork was complete, and I checked-in at the front desk seamlessly as if I were a resort owner. I only can offer compliments regarding this property and the owner.

No ocean view

The description and pictures are way off here. Very disappointing. You’ll be staring at some trees and the back of a Westin property. You’ll have to walk 1/3 of a mile to see the ocean. Room is fine, good for family, but you’re overpaying if you’re hoping for any kind of ocean view without a walk.

Poor

My husband has Parkinson’s and we have a 2 year old grand child. It was imperative that we have accomodations close to the ocean and had been told that we did. After an 8 hour drive, not only were we not by the ocean but we were in the farthest away! Everyday was a huge hassle, going back and forth for naps and trying to walk with our Parkinson’s and baby. Besides, we reserved ocean front!

Great Escape!

My best friend and I took our granduating daughters and nieces for a graduation trip. We couldn't make it to Cost Rica because of Covid but ended up having such a great time here, we were glad plans changed! Great property for our needs, clean, well stocked, recently updated. We will be back!

Spent 1 week at property with my family, including 3 kids ages 11, 12 and 14. Had a great time.

Property was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and spacious and appeared to be newly renovated. We had a great time riding bikes, swimming at the multiple pools and going to the beach which was very convenient. Every day I walked in ran on the beach in the mornings which was gorgeous. Also, the Marriott Barony had several activities every day for the kids and family you could participate in. I would definitely come back and stay at the property.

False advertisement

This is not anywhere NEAR the beach!! We were placed in a back building and weren’t even allowed to park at the beach! We had to walk or wait for the golf cart to come get us. Clearly the ad said beachfront. We couldn’t even see the ocean! Then the listing agent accused us of lying and stated they said garden view room. The pools were great for kids at this resort however.

Beautiful place!

We had a wonderful time. Our villa was fully equiped, completely renovated and clean. Our family enjoyed the hotel amenities such as pools and spa, and we loved the closeness to the beach. Hilton Head has plenty of activities and great food!

Beautiful place!

We enjoyed Hilton Head, SC. The condo we stayed in was beautiful along with the Marriott Barony Club property. The beach was big and very pretty - nice white sand. The pool was impressive. It was very fun and relaxing. Great vacation!
