Host was quick in responding to any inquiries and so helpful. The place was very charming and our family had a great time either at the dock with the water toys provided or the extensive game room in the evenings!

My family and I enjoyed both the house and the locale, especially the many games in the basement, i.e. ping-pong, shuffleboard, pool, foosball, and darts.

Just knowing that this was our 8th time renting this beautiful modern log home should say enough. Fantastic views of the lake and natural shorelines. The property is gently sloped making it easier for older couples to access most of the property. We particularly love the screened in porch for eating all meals. Our visit this time was in mid Sep and we had particularly warm weather (mid 90's) so we spent considerable time enjoying the beautiful dock swimming/kayaking. Due to the hot weather we didn't enjoy any campfires under the stars which is normally a highlight but instead opted to untilized the delightful fully equipped game room! One thing to be aware of is that after Labor Day boat rentals are not possible at local marinas due to lower lake water levels. We definitely appreciate the owners Shawn and Marc for allowing us to again enjoy their very special log home/property!

We are six old friends getting together. This home and its location are beautiful. We spent nearly our entire three days outdoors. We dined in the screened-in porch and kicked back on the dock, around the fire ring, and on the patio. The available watercraft are perfect for an explore. Two of us took the canoe out around the island. One of us took the kayak across the cove. A couple people fished from the dock.The views take care of themselves. The sun rises out back across the Tennessee River. Eagle, osprey, blue heron, and other water fowl regularly fly past. Deer and other animals pass by. The Tennessee River moves sizeable cargo ships that you can watch in the distance. (You can track the boats online at marinetraffic) When the moon was gone, the milky way spread completely across the sky. The place was clean and well furnished and equipped. We have a couple cooks in our group, and everything in the kitchen we could need was available. The open plan let us all hang together while cooking was going on.The whether was too nice to take advantage of the games in the basement, though we all love playing pool and ping pong. A couple of us did play a couple games of Foosball. The televisions worked, but we struggled to get Direct TV to work during a couple sporting events we wanted to watch. However, there was an HDMI cable to hook up a laptop, and we were able to watch anyway. We all agreed: we hope to come back to this same place in the future.

This a beautiful property right on the lake. We enjoyed eating all of our meals at the table on the screened in porch overlooking the lake.The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware needed to prepare a meal with.The property was clean and cozy, we felt right at home the moment we arrived. For rainy days or evenings the basement game room was awesome. We had a blast. The only regret was not being able to stay longer due to our tight travel schedule. We will just have to plan to stay longer next time….

Great spot for a fishing trip

We stayed here for my nephews spring break and went fishing on the lake. Plenty to do here when the weather wasn’t cooperating and kept the boys happy. Great place!

Family get together

Great place for a quite family get together. Cabin is clean, comfortable and well equipped and makes for a great experience. We have stayed here multiple times and hope to do so again in the future.
