This was the absolute perfect home for our stay. Beautiful place, gorgeous views, well appointed - and, we all fell in love with Smalls, the dog next door! Worth every penny.

We absolutely loved our stay at the River House! The place was clean, had everything we needed, and the view was spectacular! We loved the soak in the hot tub after hiking all day. We were blessed with an American Bald Eagle fly over the first night while soaking in the tub. What could be better than that?! We also loved Smalls and Tiger (the two dogs next door). I would HIGHLY recommend this place for the view and the convenience to town as well.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful Vrbo! The home was perfect for our party of 6 - thoughtfully laid out, spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and a truly breathtaking view of the Olympics. We enjoyed the hot tub, walk to the river, and comfortable furniture for relaxing and enjoying a good meal. This is one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed at, and we will absolutely be back.

Beautiful home overlooking the Elwa River. We spent free afternoons on the patio overlooking the river where we saw tons of birds and eagles. The beds were so comfortable and the home was well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great communication with the owner and super easy check-in. Easy to get to, about 15 minute drive from Port Angles. Way worth the drive if you are looking for peace and quiet. Saw deer each morning in the yard and the elk herd were close, although we missed our opportunity to see them. Highly recommend

River House is a perfect get-away. Beautiful scenery and everything you need in the house. Rick was quick to respond to questions and offer assistance. Smalls was a welcome visitor each day. We saw the elk herd across the river bank. River house was close enough to town ( Port Angeles) but also far enough to enjoy nature. We explored Hoh Rainforest and Hurricane Ridge and took the ferry from Port Angeles across to Canada. The highlight each day was the coffee on the patio and stargazing at night. A little piece of paradise.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set in a peaceful location with incredible views. The hot tub overlooking the scenery was a highlight—such a relaxing way to end each day. We also loved that it’s pet-friendly, which made the trip even more special for our whole family.The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. This place truly felt like a perfect getaway, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend booking through VRBO!

Incredible views from the house, inside and out. Easy check in and a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Awesome location, being close to Port Angeles and also the coast. Incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. Cannot wait to book again.

Wow this property has the most stunning views! Truly beautiful! I absolutely loved soaking in the hot tub and listening to the river. The views from the main room are so beautiful. We also walked down to the river with the kids, which was pretty easy. Highly recommend anyone who can come.Of note, there are other buildings on the property. We didn’t see any other people, but there is a house right next-door that belongs to the owner. Again, we had great privacy, but just an FYI.

Peaceful and beautiful

Incredible Patio

The house was so nice with huge windows overlooking an incredible view. Even better - the patio and firepit overlooked the same view. We had a great weekend staying at this property!
