Questo cottage caratteristico e accogliente è stato costruito nel 1925 dalla famiglia attuale del proprietario, e una volta che si vede questa visione, si può capire perché hanno costruito su questo posto e lo hanno mantenuto tutti questi anni.

La nostra famiglia è pronta ad accogliervi e la vostra a godere della nostra casa vacanza sul lato est del lago Keuka. Non solo guardate ovest alla fine del bluff, il punto più ampio del lago, si può anche guardare verso nord fino alla forca est del lago. Questo significa che puoi godervi l'alba e il tramonto!

Non ti preoccupare, la splendida vista non è l'unica cosa che questa proprietà offre! Tre camere da letto (2 Queen, 1 pieno), 2 bagni completi (uno con vasca / doccia, l'altro con doccia stand up), lavatrice e asciugatrice, aria condizionata, cavo e wifi, e cucina completamente attrezzata con lavastoviglie.

La proprietà è di livello a pochi passi dal casolare alla spiaggia. Il lago è poco profondo ei pendii gradualmente a questo punto così è ideale per i bambini. Alla fine del molo è abbastanza profondo per legare una barca a motore (portare il proprio o affittare da una marina sul lago).

Il portico chiuso offre un sacco di spazio per pranzare e rilassarsi. È possibile camminare o bici con facilità sulla strada privata inferiore. L'erba sul cortile offre spazio aggiuntivo per i bambini.

L'occupazione massima (giorno o notte) è di 6 persone a causa di restrizioni settiche. Le ore tranquille sono dalle 22 alle 7. Se stai cercando un posto per le feste o desideri ospitare ospiti aggiuntivi, cerca altrove. Questo non è il posto per voi.

The location is so amazing. Quiet and beautiful and close to some great wineries. Having our morning coffee in the sunroom situated right at the lake shore was amazing. The beds and chairs were so comfortable. Loved this place.

This is an older cottage, very well maintained and very clean. The closed in porch is great to sit and relax and enjoy the water view. When we were there it was quiet and relaxing.

We had a lovely stay. We loved the big three seasons room -- beautiful view. So much so that we decided not to go out to dinner most nights -- we picked up food so that we could dine while we looked at the water. This location is ideal -- so close to Hammondsport and the wineries and restaurants we wanted to visit. Beautiful sunsets.

Such a beautiful location with amazing views of the lake. We are history and antique buffs, so we appreciated the history of the Lakehouse with the paintings and history of the family. It was a very peaceful place and immensely enjoyed just relaxing in the four season room overlooking the lake. Would definitely come back and also recommend!

Another fantastic stay!

We are regular renters at The View Alone, but this was the first time in the fall. The cottage is clean and cozy and feels like home, with great communication with the owner.

Adorable classic cottage with amazing view

I've been vacationing on Keuka Lake for over 12 years and used to have my own cottage. Deborah's place is a classic cottage, very cozy and clean. Communication was excellent, all of the amenities were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed exercising on the back deck, going out in the rowboat, taking a swim off the nice level beach. Highly recommend a stay here.

Weekend at The View Alone

Second weekend at this lovely cabin. Super clean and well equipped. Owner communicated with us by email to ensure that everything was satisfactory. Enjoyed our stay very much even though the weather was not the best.

Terrific stay

We have stayed at this property for several years now. Debbie, the host, was great. Communication was efficient and always timely. The place was cleaned well and all needed kitchen supplies provided as well as linens, towels. We certainly hope to plan a stay in 2025.

Short getaway with adult son and us

While our son is studying for the bar, it was a chance to give him a change of scenery and some added peace and quiet as he worked many hours per day on his study, We really enjoyed the peace and quiet by the lake and the charming cottage!

Great Stay at a Traditional Lakeside Cottage

We spent three nights at this 100-year-old lakeside cottage and loved the house, the location, and the views! This cottage is not modern so just lean into the classic, storybook charm. The expansive porch and that stunning view are really the stars of the show here and we spent almost all of our time out there. Recommend!

Lovely get away cottage

This cottage is lovely, spotlessly clean and decorated very nicely. It makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. My friends and I love sitting on the porch overlooking the lake, sipping our coffee and visiting. This was our 2nd year, and we look forward to returning next year. Debbie is a fantastic hostess!

Relaxing getaway with unbeatable vibes and views!

This is our third year staying at this address and we continue to be thrilled with the location, ease of communication, loveliness of house and hospitality of our hosts! The house is cozy, convenient and cute! Lots of amenities as well. Hosts are welcoming and accomodating for your needs. Everything is labled and neat. Even the towels were fluffy! We truly love this property and hope to continue to use it for future stays!

Charming Lake House

The house was lovely! Beautiful view, so warm and inviting. All the guest information that was left for us was very organized and helpful. The porch was very inviting and we spent most of our time there playing games, eating, relaxing, and taking in the view. The photos didn’t do it justice. We highly recommend!

Perfect Location!

We have been renting cottages on Keuka Lake for sometime now. Grew up in the area and still have friends and family close by. The location of this cottage is on my favorite part of the lake with privacy hedges on either side. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The back porch perfect for visiting or just looking out on the lake.Kitchen well equipped. I cannot think of one negative to the entire week!

This house is clean, historic, humble and just right. Built over 100 years ago, but kept up impeccably, it was a step back into the Summer of '42. It is right on the lake and away from the highway, so it is quiet and nicely breezy over the placid lake in October. Kitchen is update so we brought fantastic casseroles. Location is minutes away from award winning Weis Vineyard. We hiked Watkins Glenn State Park--Do not miss that one. Debbie was a good communicator. All four of us felt we would return here again!

Very peaceful

My husband and I absolutely loved this rental. It was clean and that's the most important thing for us. The sizable porch with the amazing view was the best part. It gives the cottage a very roomy feel. Communication with the owner was great. She very kindly went the out of her way, when I forgot something and returned it to me via mail. I would recommend this darling little cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful view and relaxing time. We will be returning next year for sure. Thank you Deborah for keeping this little gem alive... :)

A slice of heaven

This property was beyond what our expectations were. This adorable and over 100 year old cottage meet every expectation and MORE! The owner was so easy to communicate with, the property was immaculately clean, and rooms were so comfortable. Sitting at the end of the dock, listening to the little waves was absolute heaven! So relaxing! The kids absolutely loved swimming in the crystal clear lake along with paddling around in the row boat! Ending each evening on the beach, watching the gorgeous sunset and roasting marshmellows over a campfire .... no better ending to the day! The cottage and the history of the family are magical and we would highly recommend a visit!

This is a lovely home, very welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, we had more than enough bottled water to meet our needs. Very cozy bedrooms with lots of pillows and extra blankets and it was so wonderfully dark and quiet, providing for an excellent night's sleep. We enjoyed the outstanding view from the sunroom while we ate and played games - we were pleased to find a number of board games. The tv had great reception. We also appreciated the ease of getting into the home as well as out to the beach since my husband has issues with his legs. There is impressive art work and memorabilia which tell a love story the family has had with this property. Above all, it was spotlessly clean. Deborah is an excellent hostess; she provided clear directions to the home and we found it to be exactly as the site was described. She also responded quickly and graciously to my emails as questions arose; moreover, there was a delicious pie on the counter to welcome us! We were there with our daughter and son-in-law and we all agreed that we would definitely recommend this home and we hope to return and re-live this delightful vacation.

It was a wonderful experience staying at this charming cottage! It was very clean and set up well for vacationers, as it had lots to space to storage luggage, clothing, etc. We felt very welcomed with a note from the owner, Deborah, and we appreciated the delicious strawberry/ rubarb pie that was left for us! It was also a pleasure to meet her, as well. The cottage had some nice vintage photos and collectibles, that echoed an earlier Keuka Lake era. The kitchen was set up well with everything we needed. The view was absolutely spectacular, one of the best on Keuka. And the porch was so comfortable and lovely! We enjoyed our long walks down the quiet lake road and had a wonderful time!

My grandparents built this family cottage in the 1920's and I manage it on behalf of the family. I spent part of every childhood summer here, as did my mother, daughter, and now our granddaughter. We love sharing it with guests who appreciate its location, classic style, and history. Perché ha scelto questa struttura

As I understand it, this private section of beach was called Crystal Beach because many of the original owners came from Corning (home of Corning Glass) as did my grandparents. It is a family-friendly neighborhood of vacationers and some year-round residents.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Although our cottage is almost 100-years old, we have maintained it lovingly and as one guest described, it "lives larger than you would expect" for its 1200 square foot size. Family artifacts, art, and photographs illustrate its history and give it a different type of charm from the newer remodeled investor-owned properties in the area.
