House was laid out nicely with plenty of space. Beautiful property to walk and we loved the doggie door to the dog pen area.

Every square foot of this cabin has a purpose. Glad you liked how efficient it is. Dogs love the access to the yard directly from the house so they can sniff the woods. We dug a trench and wired it all the way around so they can't dig out. Lots of trails here!

Janet was super helpful and accommodating, letting us check in a couple hours early after our flight got in early and our kids were tired. The cabin is wonderful, beautiful view from the deck, very much enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. 10/10 would recommend

The kitchen was nicely “for cooking. The hot tub was warm when we got there. Everything was nice and clean. There were plenty of towels and linen. There was a beautiful view and it was a beautiful overall location. It was really great for the dolls with the fenced in backyard in the doggie door it went out the back.

Thanks for the great review. Yes the kitchen was designed for two cooks or one on the stage-like kitchen with a wide, curved bar to entertain your diners who sit in four comfortable swivel bar stools. Glad your pups liked being close by but safe in the yard with the doggie door. Come again!

Very happy with with Silver Lining cabin. We had a grest time. It was clean and provided everything we needed for a family of 6 with plenty of room to spread out. Quiet and peaceful but close to Asheville and lots of fun things to do. Host was super friendly and communication was awesome.

Yes...location, location, location. We are 15-20 min to Asheville/Biltmore Estate, but in the country enough to appreciate trees and greenery and crickets at night...

The Silver Lining Cabin provided the perfect getaway for my wife, our parents, and our 9-month-old Bernedoodle. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We especially enjoyed the home's back deck and fire pit as well as the farm's walking trails and fishing pond.

Thanks for noting how well stocked Silver Lining cabin is. I've been to many a rental and when they don't have extra TP or the basic spices, aluminum foil and baggies, it means you have to go out and spend more $. We have that and more here!

Beautiful Place very caring owner

This is a beautiful cabin great for any family. We used it as a resting spot between our trips to the Biltmore. Highly recommend.

And a good resting spot, indeed, for the Biltmore. It takes a good 2.5 hrs. to see the inside of the Biltmore house then the grounds, winery and Titanic exhibit are extra. You'll have to come back to see the tulips in bloom soon. We are 15 min from the Biltmore Estate.

Mountain getaway near Asheville

Clean and new property with access to private hiking trails and a working farm. Like hiking in a state park without seeing another person! Short drive to downtown Asheville.
