Thank you Lisa for your kind words. We do apologize for the issues that you had with the mosquitos and/or no-see-ums. . They are more prevalent after it rains and due to the tropical setting. In the past, we have managed to reduce the number of insects in the house through the use of the screens, etc. We will consider your advice and look into installing netting above the bed. Nevis is reminiscent of what the Caribbean used to be. It is unspoiled, and has the most amazing people and beauty. The Nevisians have made considerable improvements to the roads over the recent years. It can be intimidating driving on the other side of the road. We apologize if we did not communicate well enough about air conditioning only being provided in the bedrooms and not in the central living space. We are going to review our posting to ensure that it is clearly explained based upon your comments. Red Ginger Villa was built based upon traditional Nevisian home design, where the living spaces are open during the day allowing for the sea breeze to flow through the house. The windows are screened which allow the sea breezes to flow through the house at night. Thank you for your insight and comments. We truly want to provide the best experience possible for our guests.
