Outstanding property for my family of 10 in town for my son’s wedding. All found their beds comfortable and had such a great time in the pool and at the fire pit each day of the stay. The hosts were very responsive and extremely nice. We couldn’t have picked a better place!

Great house. I have never stayed where it’s someone’s primary residence. There were a lot of family pictures and rules around the house. Very comfortable and the backyard was the best. Location was perfect for what we needed.

This wonderful house in Madison was just perfect. Everything we could have possibly needed was there, and the pool area was like a resort. Our three-generation family spent most of our time there. The boys loved being in the cool basement, and our five-year-old felt so special in the jungle bedroom. The Murphys were so helpful and gracious that they almost felt like family.This home is in an upscale neighborhood, adjacent to a park, and 5 minutes from a grocery store.We hated to leave. May I rate it 6 stars out of five?

Great place for a great time!

We had a great time on our second visit to this VRBO location. We like where it’s located but even if you don’t go anywhere, the house is comfortable and clean and pretty and the backyard is great with the pool and hot tub and fire pit.

What a great location!

Julie has a beautiful home! We had a great trip and enjoyed spending time in the pool and a quick Uber ride to campus for a Badger game.

Great home, great amenities

We had a great time in Madison, and was so glad we found this home. Plenty of room to spread out, it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this home

Fantastic, clean home with lots of space. Great pool / backyard area, fantastic kitchen and living spaces, clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Good location in a nice suburban neighborhood. Reasonably close location to downtown Madison. Highly recommend! Julie was great at communicating and very friendly. Perfect for group / family stays

Loved every minute!

Hosts were amazing. Property was spotless and amenities were outstanding. Can’t wait to stay again. Perfect quiet neighborhood walking distance to running and biking trails and delicious restaurants. A++ stay!!!

The property was perfect for our group traveling to the CrossFit Games. Great location. Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to Alliant Energy center. Highly recommend!

Great family home in Madison

We had an amazing weekend at the Murphy home. The backyard and pool was perfect for our family(pool basketball, slide and diving board). There is plenty of room to gather inside and outside. The host was great to work with. They do live in the house when it is not rented but there was plenty of room for our family. We highly recommend this house for a large group of friends or family.

Perfect spot!

We could not say enough wonderful things about this home and the hosts. The house was perfect for our family! The entire family enjoyed the backyard - playing in the pool, fun pool slide, and fire pit. The hosts were nice enough to have a s’mores station and amenities for the pool (towels, bug spray, pool toys). Julie was very communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home!

Wonderful vacation

Our family gathered for a long weekend for summer vacation and to celebrate birthdays. The house was perfect for our family of 14. The pool, hot tub and pub table under the pergola were awesome! We cooked and grilled every meal and the host provided a well equipped kitchen and Weber gas grill. The house is beautiful and has so many areas to gather and each family had there own bedroom. Our family had such a good time at this home and the hosts were great people to work with. Definitely recommend this property!

Football weekend/mini family reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Madison. The house was exactly as presented on line and it was perfect for our group: 7 adults (PSU grads) in this house, with other family members staying elsewhere in town but able to enjoy the pool/hot tub over the weekend. We enjoyed the Penn State win over Wisconsin over Labor Day weekend and this was the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ, and relax watching other football games over the weekend. The Murphy's are gracious hosts -- this is a 5-star property all around!

Nice property, large, very clean, great pool. Did not know this was this families home. All the family pictures and decorations, including the red white & blue outside light on the front was a bit too much. A bit of a shock in a tightly packed residential neighborhood. Loads of extras like sunscreen, spices etc. but the lack of even 1 coffee filter....would have been nice to know.

Thank you for the response Lisa. As we explained up front...in order to list on VRBO the City of Madison requires the rental property be our primary residence. Our photos in our online listing shows all our photos, too. There are coffee filters in the cupboard next to the coffee makers. Also, because we are proud of our patriotism and I decorate for every holiday, I decorated our home in honor of July 4! I do hope you appreciate me mailing the items you forgot.
