The Howdy Half-Acre ha un rapido accesso a Texas Avenue e Hwy 6, ma si trova su un mezzo acro di querce, delimitato da un torrente e una cintura verde per la pace e la tranquillità.

La zona giorno comprende DUE divani completi e un tavolo da pranzo per 8 persone. E il ponte posteriore ha 10 sedie a sdraio per godersi una tazza di caffè la mattina guardando e ascoltando tutti gli uccelli; o più tardi nel giorno per godersi l'ombra e la tranquillità delle enormi querce.

La cucina ha ripiani in granito ed è completamente attrezzata con caffè e 2 caffettiere (una deliziosa selezione di tazze K o una pentola piena), George Foreman Grill, tostapane, microonde, pentole, utensili, pentole, frullatore e una BOTTIGLIA GRATUITA DI VINO di Messina Hof, la cantina locale.
È anche prevista la COLAZIONE: cialde e frutta nel congelatore; yogurt in frigorifero; e pancake mix, Kind bar e farina d'avena nella dispensa.

I bagni dispongono di ripiani in granito, pavimenti in piastrelle, asciugamani di lusso.

La "Legacy Room" dispone di un letto king-size, 2 tavolini e lampade, una sedia imbottita e una scrivania con sedia. Presenta tele raffiguranti le 4 generazioni di Aggies nella nostra famiglia. Le porte scorrevoli in vetro si aprono sul ponte posteriore.

"You are My Sunshine Room" ha un lussuoso letto matrimoniale con appuntamenti turchese e giallo burro.

La camera "Quercia e piume" ha due comodi letti singoli. Le foto appese al muro sono solo alcune delle numerose specie di uccelli che abbiamo visto mentre ci rilassavamo sul ponte posteriore.

TAMU Graduation

This was an amazing place! Super clean and had all the amenities. The deck was beautiful and a perfect place if you want to have a small gathering. Beautifully decorated for Aggies and a great getaway for football games or graduations, ring dunks, etc. The host was so gracious and and quick to respond. We won't hesitate to stay there again.

Wedding weekend

We stayed a long weekend for a wedding in College Station. The house was perfect and the owners were absolutely wonderful, they went above and beyond to answer all our questions for the busy weekend.

Good location for weekend visit

Location was great and close to our son's home. Place was very clean and appeared as in the photos. Only issue was that the TV did not have good reception - so we were unable to watch football on Saturday.

Weekend to watch son's March-In

Home away from home! The attention to detail and plentiful instructions were so helpful and appreciated. Our son is a fish in the Corp of Cadets, and we came down to watch him march and provide a home cooked dinner for him--and a place for him and a few buddies to have some time off the Quad. The huge living area was a great place for them to relax. I enjoyed hearing them laugh about their stories from the week. What a squared away group of young men. The new gas grill was perfect for grilling and the kitchen oven worked great for making cookies. It was very clean and cozy. My 8 month old grandson was fascinated with the birds in the morning in the back yard. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again. Felt like a home—extremely clean & well-stocked in the kitchen, bathroom. Lots of towels & sheets, etc. The house has big closets and plenty of floor space for air mattresses and plenty of seating. The backyard truly is the best for bird watching—our 3-7 year old grandchildren totally enjoyed spotting & hearing all the birds. The deck is huge & would be great for grilling. We also appreciate that all instructions were detailed and thorough. Location was perfect for us. Thanks for a great stay. And for the coffee!

Just right for family gathering!

Jane is the best hostess ever with the gift of hospitality! The home has all one needs to stay awhile and host a special celebration (graduation!) Jane thought of everything! Super happy and grateful! Especially love the back deck and huge yard space!

What a Treat! Cheers to Host!

This property was a perfect. The host was very responsive and very helpful. The new backyard deck was very large to sit and enjoy the nice size backyard. The kitchen was stock with treats as a nice surprise. Thank you for making my first VRBO experience enjoyable.

Birthday in CS

We celebrated a birthday with friends and family, and had a great time at the Aggie Half Acre. My daughter attends TAMU, (WHOOP!) and we had friends and family in town that stayed here. We had a great stay and will stay again. Jane was very reaponsive and accommodating, and the home is well appointed for what you need amd more. The beds are comfy, the space is comfy and clean, and the neighborhood is great. There is ample parking, and we felt very safe. Thank you, Jane for sharing your space and being a excellent host! Amazing as always

This is the 2nd time we have rented and I love it more and more each time. It is an amazing, comfy home with anything and everything you can ask for. We will definitely be renting again before our 2nd Aggie graduates

Great stay

We stayed for a weekend to attend the Troubedore Festival. Almost all of us were alum from A&M (all except my husband!) We had such a good time. The house fit all of our needs and the owners thought of everything. They had directions for when something may be in question and labels to help us locate and identify what we needed. Thank you for the opportunity to stay and opening your lovely home.

Near Family

As described, accurate photos. Very clean, well-maintained, well-provisioned home. No issues while we were there - everything worked and was labelled. Excellent communication, accommodating host. House at end of cul-de-sac with large, private backyard. Close to Kroger's & nice park nearby. Not close to campus, but very close to family for us. Would stay again if family remains in same neighborhood.

We are a 4-generation Aggie family. You will see this in the photos in the master bedroom, aptly called "The Legacy Room," featuring photos from our family's graduating classes of 1908, 1939, 1980, 1982, 2011, 2015, and 2017.

We LOVE the peace and tranquility of this property that is in such close proximity to the Texas A&M campus, Texas Avenue, and Hwy 6. The huge living area makes it a perfect place for your family and friends to gather for graduations, game days, Aggie Ring weekends, Parents' Weekends, etc. Ten deck chairs on the back deck take the visiting time outdoors, where there is a grouping of huge oaks, and plenty of room for Frisbee, touch football, and other outdoor activities.
