This house directly on a cove in Spruce Head supplied everything we needed for a relaxing two weeks: no hassle check-in, absolutely excellent communications with host Jennifer (who is great), a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of space to spread out, extremely comfortable beds, a great deck with plenty of seating, a good location for exploring Maine's mid-coast, and close proximity to McLoons for lobster. The property is exactly as detailed and shown in it's description. A lovely tucked away spot!

This was our second visit here and just like the first time, the home made our vacation special. The home is very clean and has all the modern amenities and appliances. We have our own kayaks, so being on the water is perfect. We even were able to get out at low tide without being in the mud! We’d love to come back again, great home and great location!

The property was as described. The Spruce head Island South Thomaston area is wonderful. Get the best of both Worlds. You’re out in a rural community ruled by the ocean, and those who work on it. 15 minutes away you could be in a small town Rockland with the museum and restaurants. Great stop off point to get on a ferry to Monhegan, or Vinalhaven. Longer day trips going down east is very doable. This area has been my favorite for years. The house itself has everything you need and a very nice view..

Another wonderful stay

We returned to this cottage because we had enjoyed it so much the previous year. It was a wonderful respite. The perfect location for us, always with beautiful birds to watch.

Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation

My family had the most delightful Maine vacation at this lovely cottage! Great local lobster nearby, cute towns, amazing hiking and plenty of space to enjoy the views! We loved it and highly recommend!

Great house and location!

We had a great week in Maine! This was the perfect place for our vacation. The home had everything we needed and we loved the location right on the water. We definitely hope to return!

There is so much to explore in the MidCoast, so I hope you got to some of my favorite spots...McLoons Lobster Shack, Marshall Point Lighthouse, and the wonderful fishing village of Port Clyde. But, staying home and enjoying the views from the wonderful deck, the clear night skies filled with stars next to the fire pit, and exploring right from your backyard in the home's kayaks are wonderful ways to spend your days also! Stayed a few summers now. We love it here! Perfect location quiet, calming, beautiful view while being short drive to beaches, events, etc. Seabreeze has all amenities plus a huge deck layout. Jennifer truly the best to work with both in booking and attending to anything during stay. Cannot wait for our next stay.

Great place right out over the water when on deck. Lots to see in the area and as kayakers we can say it’s great kayaking area with things to see. House is cozy and well done so you have all you need.Would return!

Awesome stay

My family and I made this our home base for a visit to see family in the area. The house was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of space, comfortable, well equipped, with a great deck and beautiful views. We’re already thinking about when we can come back!

There are so many things to do right on the property...kayaks, fire pit, books, games, or just sitting on the deck watching the tides come and go...definitely something for everyone to enjoy! And of course, there are lots of wonderful hiking trails, light houses, lobster shacks, and even a fabulous book store right in the neighborhood so if you want to explore a little bit you don't have to go far! We do our best to make sure each guest has a wonderful vacation, and this home has everything one needs to make it special from the moment you arrive...kayaks, a fire pit, a deck with incredible water views so you can watch the wildlife and the sunsets, and lots of books, games and puzzles to enjoy. And Spruce Head Island is a magical place so if you wanted to stretch your legs and explore, there are lots of hiking trails, restaurants, and shops very close by! We are looking forward to seeing you both again next year!

Our stay was too short...

The property and view was beautiful for our family of 6. Area also delightful - something to do for ages 2-62. Wish it could have been longer.

Spruce Head Splendor

This home lacked nothing. It was truly a quintessential Maine coast rental with all of the modern conveniences. Great location and a wonderful place to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We truly enjoyed our week.

The Best

Second summer and booked our third! Seabreeze is wonderful. The location is perfect. Peaceful by the water but not far from Rockland and other Midcoast attractions. Relaxing. Owner thought of everything and Jennifer great to coordinate with in booking and throughout stay. Cannot wait to return. 🙂

Better than I remember

This was our second time in this lovely spot. After a very difficult year, we needed a good dose of tranquility. This house and its lovely surroundings were just what we needed. The only way this rental could be better is if it were mine. The rental management company was also terrific. Very helpful and responsive.

LOVE

Gorgeous views from every room, great little nooks to curl up with a good book, a deck to enjoy an evening drink, what's not to love? Lots of great information about the surrounding area and good suggestions for places to try--I'd add Claws and Rukus Donuts in Rockland and if you're up for a little bit more of a hike, The Desert of Maine in Freeport. Don't hesitate on this one!
