Katina: We regret that you did not find Palms 1-206 to be up to your expectations. I must admit that I am surprised by your comments. As the manager of this property I know the Owners have worked very hard to make the property a comfortable place for visiting Guests. Many of the Guests of this condo are repeat Guests that come back year after year. Over the past 14 years Navarre Vacation Rentals has represented most of the properties in the Palms community at one time or another. I can personally attest to the fact that Palms #1-206 has far better furnishings and upgrades than many of the other properties in this community. Lania: Your review is very concerning. This is not the type of rental experience we want our Guests to have. After reading your review I personally visited to property to investigate the things you've commented on. I did note the green residue you mentioned - it is on the outside of 2 windows. With this property being on the 2nd floor and with the manner in which these windows open the cleaners have explained that they are unable to access the outside glass. I am going to explore if there is something we can do perhaps using a water hose but I will have to get permission from the Community Association Manager before I can attempt to do this. There is suppose to be disinfecting wipes or a spray bottle of disinfecting cleaner left under the kitchen sink in every property. I have brought all of the concerns you've mentioned to the attention of the cleaning personnel as well as the property inspectors. I am at a loss for explaining why this was not present when we have ample stock of disinfecting supplies in our storage facility. I have made it very clear to our personnel that this is required to be present in all properties. Regarding the issue of hair - I checked the bathroom after the last guest departed and I too saw hair on the bathroom countertop (the property had not been cleaned yet). I again am not going to excuse our cleaners from not making certain that the counter surfaces are properly cleaned but I now realize that the stone surface of the counter tops in this particular property are conducive for catching and holding hair (they are porous and have a lot of texture). I actually had to look very carefully to see the hair that was there because it blended with the color of the countertop. I will be making certain that both the cleaners and inspectors pay very close attention in this property so that this does not occur again. The Owners of this property will be visiting in September. I will bring your comments regarding the sofa and chair to their attention. Again, I apologize that things were not to the standards I hold for my company and I will be working to ensure these issues do not occur again. Having confidence in the property you select is important, and didn't mean to impose that impression. We are thrilled to hear you found the condo to be super clean and located in a very relaxing location. Those things alone can make all the difference in a vacation. As for your Firestick remote, it has been mailed so be on the lookout for it. It seems postal service is not what it once was, and varies quite a bit from one area to the next.
