Un edificio pieno di carattere e fascino costruito nel 1877, uno dei pochi sopravvissuti all'uragano del 1900. Il tocco unico dell'edificio è quello che chiamiamo affettuosamente "personaggio". Situato sulla piazza, un cortile pavimentato in mattoni privati ​​con grandi querce per rilassarsi o semplicemente godersi la tranquillità che la nostra piccola città ha da offrire. I negozi sono raggiungibili a piedi o pochi minuti in auto dai ristoranti. Le 2 camere condividono un bagno di Hollywood (ogni camera ha il proprio lavabo e toilette ma condividono un artiglio piedi vasca / box doccia). La prima camera da letto ha una regina e una doppia. Il secondo, ha 2 letti full size. Inoltre, c'è un bagno di servizio. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con le basi per la preparazione dei pasti insieme a cereali per la colazione, caffè e tè. Lavatrice e asciugatrice disponibili per gli ospiti. Parcheggio minimo nella parte posteriore o parcheggio sulla strada nella parte anteriore. Nessun parcheggio o blocco del lato o vicolo. Girls trip

The property was comfortable and has more than enough room for sleeping and relaxing. The living/dining/kitchen is huge. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/utensils/pots, and pans. Loved the large island and the claw foot tub/shower. We arrived on the coldest day of the year and there are plenty of extra blankets for the beds.

Market Day on the Square

We had a group of ladies stay for the weekend during one of Bellville's market day weekends. This was our second time to stay here, and we will definitely come back again. The house is amazing and very comfortable, the host is warm and helpful, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect Girls’ Weekend!

Holland House was the perfect setting for a wonderful time with my daughters and granddaughter. The location was ideal for shopping and dining on the square. We could just step outside and walk. Bellville has terrific shops and restaurants, but isn’t overrun with other tourists, so we were never bothered by noise. Also, we loved sitting in the back courtyard listening to the birds and watching the cat. There was also a park nearby for my five year old granddaughter. The house itself is charming and comfortable. I really enjoyed the big bathtub! We would definitely stay here again!

Sadly we only stayed one night. I have stayed at many VRBO's but this one was by far my favorite. Loved everything about it and the host was just perfect. Highly highly reommend...going back soon for a much longer stay!!

Clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, the beds were all comfortable with the exception of the master which was creaky. All of the other beds, linens were soft and comfortable. I would highly recommend. Easy to get in and out with plenty of parking. Easy walk to the square and around Bellville! Will stay again!!!

Bellville Charm

Bellville is so charming, and the Holland House is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the town. When we drove up, we couldn't believe the location - right on the town square. We were able to park on the street just outside the door. Are breath was taken away at how cute the Holland House is - and how authentic! It exudes old time charm while being up to date with all the amenities you could ask for. The decor is farmhouse style and is so tasteful. There are 4 beds and 3 bathrooms, so the four of us were very comfortable. The huge island in the kitchen was our gathering place. You literally walk out your front door to the town square full of restaurants and shops. We were in Bellville on Market Days, and on the 175th anniversary of the town so there was a lot of activity in the square. Couple your visit with a trip to nearby Brenham which also has a beautiful town square full of shops and restaurants. There are many other towns close by such as Round Top, which makes the Holland House a great "home base" for antiquing in the area. The owner was very receptive with entry codes. Definitely a 5 star rental.

I was born and raised in Bellville and proud to call it home. Brad and I live off site and are proud parents of our daughter who is a recent Aggie graduate.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

The building was originally home to a newspaper that had been moved from where the library currently stands. Through the years it has been a bar, antique store and many restaurants. Built in 1877, it has lots of history. Brad and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in the early 90's when it was a quaint, romantic restaurant called Holland House. When I purchased it, the floor and walls had many license plates covering holes. Some of the holes in the floor, we were told were bullet holes from the days when it was a bar. The 1936 plate which is hanging by the front door was taken from the floor and restored. The sign above the dining table was made with the flooring from the back rooms of the building in which the lumber is a mixture of species, textures and patterns.
