Meandro sulle rive del Lago Michigan a pochi passi (1/2 miglio) di distanza da questa casa spaziosa e rinnovata lontano da casa. L'accesso alla spiaggia prevede nuoto, paddle board e kayak. Altre opzioni all'aperto includono percorsi estesi e ben segnalati, raccolta di bacche e mele, passeggiate a cavallo e trekking sulle dune vicine. La vita cittadina è a pochi minuti a New Buffalo, Michigan e Michigan City, nell'Indiana. Rilassati in questo accogliente ranch con tutto il necessario per rilassarsi e sentirsi a proprio agio. Il piano principale è stato ristrutturato nel 2015, creando una grande sala spaziosa con camino a legna, cucina moderna con tutti gli ammnenites e un grande tavolo da pranzo. Goditi un caffè, una conversazione, un buon libro o una cena nella veranda protetta per tre stagioni dell'anno. Nelle tre camere da letto del piano principale c'è il re, una regina e una serie di letti a castello. C'è un bagno completo con doccia / vasca.

Un seminterrato finito è una grande area per bambini o ragazzi con un altro televisore / DVD e giochi. Anche al piano di sotto è una quarta camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e un set di letti a castello e un bagno completo. Qui troverete la lavanderia.

Excellent house close to the water

This property was in a safe, quiet and cozy neighborhood. It was well stocked with anything you could need to have a great vacation by the water. It is just a short walk away from the lake and the neighborhood even included us in their summer party. The property comes with a pass for the beach which was great.

Amazing stay!

This property was absolutely beautiful! The inside of the house was spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. It was better than the pictures showed! The living room and kitchen had plenty of room for everyone to congregate and hang out. The attached screened in patio was also a great area to hang out. The only thing that was somewhat ‘weird’ was that you had to go through the garage to get to the basement; however, having two separate areas was nice. The private beach was a great perk and we enjoyed going there. Check in and check out process were extremely easy which allowed us to really enjoy our time there. I would definitely recommend this house!

Great stay and we had toddlers :)

We enjoyed the ease to communicate with the owner when needed. Owner was accommodating of our ask for a little bit earlier check in. The house was a great location to walk so beach — even with toddlers in tow. :) Had a great amount of beach towels and beach items to take with us to the beach too! Plenty of room for us to rest comfortably at night. The adults enjoyed the screened in porch especially at night once the kids were asleep :) I would definitely recommend especially if want a short stay, trips to the beach, and the ease cooking at home. I would suggest maybe little softer bed sheets and the gas fired place outlet cap is loose.

Perfect!

We had a group of 7 long-time high school friends get together to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This house had the perfect space for hanging out, playing games, eating, and relaxing. The screened in porch was wonderful! We had hoped to do an evening fire at the beach but the weather didn't cooperate. The beach entry system was a little confusing. We had to walk down a little farther to enter at Stop 31 and hadn't taken the pass but I showed the guard the address from the VRBO email and they easily gave us access. The second bathroom and bedrooms in the basement seemed weird and inconvenient from the listing but actually was no big deal and worked out really well. It would be perfect if two families were to share the house or if adults wanted upstairs, the kids could have down. We had an absolutely perfect weekend and would HIGHLY recommend this property!

Excellent little getaway spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs is spacious in a way that makes it really easy for a medium-sized group (6 adults, 3 kids) to simultaneously be together and break into smaller groups. We really appreciated how toddler-friendly the space was as well. The only downside was that one bedroom is in the basement, which can only be accessed through the garage and feels disconnected from the rest of the house. We ended up spending almost no time down there as a result. But we never felt we needed more than the upstairs and outside spaces. Overall, it was pretty ideal for our size group.

Beach house

We enjoyed staying at this property! The house has an updated kitchen and nice screened in porch. 10 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

BEAUTIFUL home in walking distance to a private beach!!

This home was absolutely beautiful! It’s in a very safe, lovely neighborhood and a short 10 minute walk to the beach. 10/10 recommend.

Family Reunion

This house was perfect for a family reunion. The younger generation stayed comfortably downstairs while the older generation stayed on the first floor. The eating area and kitchen were large enough for everyone to socialize at the same time. Perfect location!

Loved our stay

Our family stayed 4 nights and had a great time! The house is in a perfect location, about 10 minutes to New Buffalo and 10 minutes to Michigan City. The screened in back porch was such a nice place to relax, take a nap, enjoy coffee, and was big enough for us all to play card games. The kitchen has a nice ice maker, which was very convenient for filling our cooler before we started each day. It would've been nice if there was another couch or more comfy seating in the living room for us all to sit and enjoy, but with the open floor plan we were all still together. The house was very clean and a nice fit for our family.

Great Beach Stay

We loved our stay here. The house was great with lots of places for us to sit and hangout. We also loved that we could walk to the beach everyday. The hosts were also great to work with.

Awesome winery weekend!

My group of 8 had an awesome girls weekend going to wineries! The property is so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and nice screen porch!

Very impressed! Convenience and relaxation!

Our group was very impressed with the cleanliness and the convenience of location with access to the beach. The house was beautiful with plenty of seating, all of the amenities, and comfortable rooms! We will definitely come back.

Graduation Trip ‘19

Graduation trip for my daughter and her best friend. We had a wonderful time. The house has all the comforts of home and the inside is adorable. Beach is about 1/2 mile walk. Very nice neighborhood. We would definitely rent this home again. Thank you.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family weekend. The living area/ kitchen was very spacious and great for visiting. The basement was huge and a great escape for the kids or adults who needed a little quiet time (you enter the basement through the garage). We loved the screened in porch with large table for playing cards. The location of the place was awesome!! It was short drive to the grocery store to stock up on supplies and only a 10ish min walk to a beautiful private beach. The best part about the private beach was it has minimal stairs for the grandparents in our family. You can’t park at the private beach but we didn’t have any trouble walking and/or picking up/dropping off because it was so close. We brought our own beach supplies but the house actually had plenty we could have used. Great berry picking options around the area as well. I had lots of questions and the owner was always prompt to answer. Thank you!!!

It was a perfect 'home away from home' for our group.

We rented over a holiday weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect. We were a short walk from the beach. The basement was perfect for the kids to play. We brought a griddle with us for breakfast, other than that the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the screened in porch in the evenings...and the grill was great! The owner was quick to answer any questions, and so kind to be flexible with our schedule. We would definitely like to rent this house again!
