Thank you for taking the time to review us, it helps us to adjust and make improvements. I think there are two factors to start off with in order to address your concerns. 1. We do promote our property as a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Our condos are individually owned, and the décor and set-up reflect the needs and tastes of the owners, we are not luxury accommodations – we ARE quaint, clean and homey. These factors are clearly represented in our pictures, our description and within all the correspondence you received prior to your visit. We are proud of our mid-century modern architecture, which may seem dated to some, but is valued by others. We are a family-friendly property! At any given time, we have guests of varying ages, family structures, activity levels and noise levels all getting along in the public areas. Unless folks are excessively loud or roughhousing, our overall atmosphere is usually one of courtesy and tolerance. We do ask that earbuds be used while on the pool deck, that is a standard policy for many condos, apartments, hotel and motel pools, since it would be unmanageable for 20-30 different people to each be listening aloud to separate music, podcasts or phone conversations. Our quiet hours are generally 9AM to 9PM which is standard. We would have happily addressed your other concerns immediately during your stay. For example, we have many beach and pool umbrellas expressly for our guests’ use, you need only ask the on-site management – we store them when they are not in use due to our location in a coastal, windy area. In your pre-visit correspondence we mentioned having umbrellas for your use, among the other things we provide, which brings us to the grills. We have several charcoal grills, charcoal and lighter fluid for our guests to use. As for other guests monopolizing the tiki hut, this is also something management could have helped with while you were here, if we are not made aware of it, we cannot fix it. I am sorry our property was not a good fit for you, and that you are not completely satisfied with your stay.
