Property is at the end of the road. quiet and private. Cozy and warm, lots of wildlife and trees. Only downside was we anticipated DVDS as the description stated, but there was no tv. so bring your tablets as the wifi was strong. Beautiful area and hiking and sights were amazing. would recommend in a heartbeat

This is a wonderful cabin in a beautiful location. The cabin is remote, but there is plenty to do (hiking, fishing etc.) nearby. We enjoyed exploring nearby towns too. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and all of the rooms were comfortable and clean. The host was easy to communicate with and always responded to messages right away. We enjoyed our 2 week stay very much and hope to return!

Wonderful

Great cozy cabin with privacy and plenty of room for the dogs to roam around the cabin. Excellent hosts. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Cabin small but well designed and beautifully appointed. Hosts responsive & helpful. For me one unfortunate glitch: I'm 5' tall with a bad knee and both beds were too high for me to get into and safely out of during the night so had to sleep on the couch, which was uncomfortable. The porch lounge chairs were also way too big for my comfort but made do by cushioning myself with bed pillows I'd brought. Spent many hours on the porch soaking up the mountain peace and watching the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels come & go. A doe with a spotted fawn once passed through later some other deer and a group of female elks every time quite a thrill.Need to add that my 50something son found the bed in the front right bedroom too soft for him so switched to the bed I'd originally planned to sleep in and found it comfortable. Another fyi for prospective guests: the kitchen provides great equipment and crockery and such but is set up so that only one person can work in it at any given time. We very much enjoyed going to the Sat. morning Farmer's Market in Jemez Springs and touring the amazing back country of Valles Caldera. The place is magical.

Quiet cabin in the forest. Well stocked and equipped. Owners were good communicators and responded promptly to my messages. Nothing fancy, just a quiet, easy escape from the busyness of life!

A great place to get out of the routine

It's a great place to relax, if you fallow the instructions from the owner's it is easier to find than if you are fallowing the gps, unless you have geographical location.

Our Memorial weekend

Lovely, comfortable property with great proximity to Valles Caldera. The owners have done a really nice job with this place, and were extremely helpful in providing the information we needed to plan for our trip at the end of the Covid Lockdown.

Valles Caldera cabin

Cabin is well equipped and was spotless. Kitchen was well stocked and the sunroom was a great place for hanging out. Connectivity also worked perfectly.

Wonderful Getaway

We loved our stay here. The hosts did a great job of making us feel welcome. The cabin was cozy, exceptionally clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is located in a quiet peaceful mountain top area. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home.

We had an amazing 5 day stay, cabin had all the necessities and kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans and utensils etc. Awesome windowed sun room overlooking the woods where we watched some Elk, a bobcat, assorted woodpeckers, birds and hummingbirds. Hummingbird and seed feeders supplied. Very quiet, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.

Peaceful

Fantastic and peaceful cabin close to abundant natural beauty. We had a great time, the cabin was perfect for us. We enjoyed hiking, making dinner, sitting outside and watching the wildlife. Very private. This region of New Mexico is stunning; rich with history and dramatic landscapes.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The screened in porch was our favorite place to gather as a family. It was the perfect location and a very nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. We hope to be back soon!

Restful and Refreshing Cabin -- Delightfully Prepared

The owner takes very thoughtful care of this property ... it was welcoming, comfortable, well prepared for our needs, and a blessing for resting and refreshing after a long work day (we were here to help in a family project). We particularly enjoyed the sun porch view of the sunset! We also liked watching the hummingbird feeder at one of the windows. Thank you for providing this restful place for our stay.

Mountain Oasis

We loved the porch. My husband and I were looking to take in the beauty around us an relax, and this cabin was the perfect fit. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, deer, and wildlife all around us. The cabin had all the tings we needed and more. We hope to return to it again. It was so peaceful.

Heaven in Jemez

Literally at the end of the road. Very clean, well appointed, especially the kitchen. Private, quiet, peaceful. Saw a couple of deer. DVD player. Bring your favorites. Weather was perfect. No electronics for 5 days. Aah.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Jemez Springs. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by incredible scenery. We loved being close to so many amazing spots like Soda Dam, Valles Caldera, Jemez Falls, Battleship rock, Natural Hot springs and Los Conchas Trail.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the kitchen being fully stocked for cooking, and it even had a countertop ice maker—such a nice extra touch. One of our favorite moments was waking up to a light dusting of snow during our stay—it made the whole experience feel even more magical.Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be tricky, so we really appreciated having a place where they could relax with us and enjoy the trip too.The only small suggestion we would offer is adding a few more towels (kitchen towels, hand towels, and washcloths), especially for longer stays. Otherwise everything was great.One other tip for future travelers: the area is a little rugged in spots, so we’d recommend arriving in a truck or SUV if possible. Also, be prepared for limited to no cell service through a lot of the area but the wifi at the cabin worked great! We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Jemez Springs. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by incredible scenery. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and explore the Jemez area, this cabin is a great choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Enjoyed an escape to the mountains

We enjoyed a relaxing stay. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. It is a beautiful place to be outdoors or simply admire the outdoors from the sun porch.

Lovely stay in Jemez

The cottage is lovely, with all the rooms in perfect order. The kitchen is well equipped. Be aware that getting to the cabin could be challenging if it has recently rained (about 10 minutes on dirt roads). We had a 4-wheel drive Jeep so it was OK, but regular cars could have a hard time.

Nature Get Away

A great place to enjoy the natural surroundings while still having all the things we enjoy like modern plumbing, refrigeration, a soft bed and a sturdy roof overhead when the weather keeps us indoors.
