Recentemente rinnovato e completamente arredato ampio appartamento con una camera da letto in bella casa di mattoni Tudor di 100 anni a tre piani, situato nel quartiere alla moda di Ballard. Letto king size e queen estraibile possono ospitare fino a quattro in appartamento di 600 piedi quadrati più basso. Ampio soggiorno, cucina e bagno con Wi-Fi, TV e ripostiglio disponibile. Il nostro appartamento seminterrato offre molta privacy con parcheggio fuori strada e il proprio ingresso separato. Convenientemente situato a soli 4 minuti a piedi per gli autobus espressi per un facile accesso a Seattle Center, Amazon, centro città e tutte le altre meravigliose attrazioni che Seattle ha da offrire. Tutti i ristoranti alla moda, i bar e le caffetterie di Ballard sono vicini, così come i Ballard Locks, la spiaggia dei Golden Gardens e il nuovo Nordic Heritage Museum. Ci piacerebbe ospitare la tua prossima visita a Seattle.

The property is in a perfect location. The owner greeted me when I checked in and gave me a quick tour and then ensured privacy for the rest of the visit. The amenities were above adequate and a location was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Fourth year in a row we've visited family in Seattle for Thanksgiving. Property owner Alice was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour of the apartment and the amenities. Apartment is cozy, quiet, and nice. Plenty of places within 10 minutes of walking distance from this location. Only wish we had planned to stay longer. Would book here again.

Alice's apartment was just what I needed for a two-week stay in the area visiting family. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.The location was a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Alice was readily available to answer any questions I had.

The apartment, was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, especially in the kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, spices, coffee and more. There was off street parking for my car and it was in Ballard, a neat neighborhood.

Perfect for our long weekend visit in Ballard area!

We came to the Ballard area for a long weekend to visit our daughter and this property was perfect for our needs. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to several restaurants and coffee shops, off street parking, personable host, very clean and neat property with everything we needed.

We loved our stay! Location is great with lots of walkability and easy access via car or public transit to downtown. Communication with Alice was easy and she was so welcoming. Having a driveway parking spot is a huge bonus. The unit is a great size and was perfect for my husband, my toddler and myself for the weekend. We hope to be back in the future.

I'm a retired non-profit executive. I love my roses and having people enjoy my home. I've lived in Ballard since 1975 and seen it change from a quiet Scandinavian neighborhood to a trendy hangout for young professionals with lots of local coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries. It still reflects some of its Nordic Heritage with the nearby fishing fleet, a few shops and National Nordic museum.
My roots are in corn country in the Midwest, so my interest in gardening comes naturally. I have a concrete lamb on the front porch and a straw pig planter on the back deck just to remind me of the farm
I am active in politics and you will often see a political sign in my yard and or window.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

My son attended preschool nearby and everyday I would pass this house and thought how wonderful it would be to own this brick Tudor. We already enjoyed living in the area and we were outgrowing our little 2 bedroom bungalow. When I saw the sign For Sale By Owner, we jumped at the chance to buy it. I have never been sorry.
The previous owner had a large pool table in what is now the downstairs bedroom. My son lived downstairs while attending college and I've rented it off and on to friends. A water problem in 2015 damaged drywall and furnishings. I've done extensive remodeling - creating a secure entrance, upgrading the bathroom, lighting and appliances and installing new flooring throughout.
I love that the property is in Ballard on a fairly quiet street with well-maintained single-family homes, but close to public transportation and all the amenities Ballard and Seattle have to offer - Woodland Park Zoo, the beach, restaurants with great seafood, Greenlake, the waterfront, the locks with the salmon ladder, Pike Place Market, breweries within a mile, and world-class museums. These are a few of my favorite things, but you can discover many more.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

I was particularly attracted to the brick Tudor architecture of the house. The brick wall and steps and sidewalk leading up to the porch and front door set it off from the other houses on the block. The original fireplace in the living room and row of leaded glass windows in the dining room are distinctive. At one time it was the parsonage for the church property next door. In addition to the property being well-maintained, I appreciate the more expansive lawn area on the side yard. It has a longer paved driveway that accommodates safe, off street parking for guests' vehicles - a distinct advantage in a busy neighborhood within parking range of Ballard high school.with its many student drivers.
