CHAPPY BUTTERFLY COTTAGE è un'accogliente guest house a due camere da letto con un divano letto addizionale sulla proprietà privata di Meadowsweet. Sono richieste biciclette o un'auto, tutte le ruote motrici o 4 ruote motrici preferite. Il cottage è idealmente situato sulla Croce Chappy Trail nel cuore di questa ricercata "isola al largo di un'isola". A pochi minuti in auto o in mountain bike dall'elegante villaggio di Edgartown su Martha's Vineyard, il cottage offre agli ospiti il ​​meglio delle opzioni dell'isola: più spiagge in tutte le direzioni, sentieri per passeggiate e mountain bike a pochi passi dal portico anteriore e boutique in città servizi a soli dieci minuti! Le camere sono accoglienti: una con un letto matrimoniale e l'altra con una doppia. C'è un ulteriore divano letto queen size nella zona giorno. The most relaxing vacation of our lives. The owners were there and they were great hosts. They set us up with some oatmeal and saved us when we forgot a breakfast staple. All in all it’s a cozy space that’s clean and very well kept. We’d definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend. We loved the tranquility. This was a perfect escape from noise. The beautiful bird calls over morning coffee on the porch, and daily visits from a doe and her fawn were special. We hiked several miles on the beautiful trails. Van's Butterfly Cottage is cozy, immaculate, and has a calming decor. Van is a very attentive and superb host. Thank you, Van!

A beautiful place

I bought this trip because it had everything we wanted: more seclusion, more beach focus and pretty places to walk without seeing many people. Indeed it was just the right retreat. I didn’t realize how much I’d love sitting in the backyard watching the birds and the wind through the wild grass or taking walks down the dirt road with my family. It’s a good place to lay low and focus on chappy. We didn’t want to do the typical island sights this round. We just wanted a slow day beach vaca and we got it. The place is very cute and had more amenities and than I expected. The porch was a perfect area for our dog to sleep and for us to enjoy a cup of coffee with the sunrise. We really had a pleasant time. Van was a very communicative, friendly, professional host, among the best I’ve experienced. Very quick to help.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This property was absolutely lovely. It was very peaceful listening to the birds and watching the birds in the morning. The cabin itself had everything we needed and the location was perfect to get away from things while still having easy access to Edgartown and MV via the ferry.

Great Location

My wife and stayed here for our anniversary weekend. We split our time between Chappy and MV equally, and this was a great location. The house perfect for the 2 of us! Van, was great with communicating with us and we had no issues.

Great cozy cottage. Very clean and well maintained. Definitely need a car for this location. Been coming to the Vineyard for years this was my first stay on Chappy. We had an excellent time and will definitely return!

Fishing Weekend

Just got back from a stay at the Butterfly Cottage. Neither the weather nor the fish cooperated but our stay at the cottage was perfect. Cozy cottage, perfect for the combination of myself, my husband, and our adult son. We've visited the Vineyard many times but this was our first time staying on Chappaquiddick and it was nice to be able to so easily access our favorite fishing spots. And easy and fun to go out for dinner in Edgartown by taking the On-Time Ferry as passengers. Would stay again (and try for better weather next time). Cottage would also be perfect for two couples.

A little heaven on earth!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and cozy cottage! It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The owners reached out to make sure we arrived safely and assured us to contact them if we needed anything. My emails were answered in a very timely manner. The property is beautiful! We were greeted by two deer in the yard one of the mornings. And the screened in porch was awesome to sit out in the evening. We will definitely be back to the tranquil Chappaquiddick Island and to this wonderful cottage, both are a little heaven on earth!

Wonderful 2 bedroom secluded cottage on Chappaquidick Island. Important to bring car with good road clearance. Owner easy to work with and available for questions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Great little cottage

We were SO happy with our stay at this adorable, clean and excellently maintained cottage. We were able to easily get to the house with with bikes and enjoyed the serenity of chappy mixed with the restaurants and shopping of Edgartown. We couldn't find a cork screw for opening a bottle of wine?...but other than this very minor issue it was PERFECT . The place was great and the owners were very responsive to our messages. We would love to stay again- but will stay longer next time:)!!! Thank you so much. Paula

A little cottage in heaven

This was my first time renting this cottage, but not my first on Chappy. The location of the home is perfect for outdoorsy people like me- right on the X-Chappy Trail, making morning woods runs/hikes/mountain bike rides a huge bound addition. Being in the cottage with just my dog first and eventually my son made the rental feel like a home. I highly recommend this rental and will look to stay again in the future!

Great Modern Chappy Cottage

I stayed at the cottage for two nights. Leading up to the stay, the property manager was very helpful and responsive. We were looking for a secluded location with modern amenities. This cottage fit the bill perfectly. It had modern kitchen appliances with plenty of cookware and utensils, as well as wifi, good cell service, Comcast cable, and an A/C unit. It was close enough to the main road to make travel easy, but far enough away to be insulated from traffic. It is right in the center of the island, so that made for a quick drive to any of the beaches on the island. It's about a ten-minute drive to the ferry to Edgartown. I would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in staying on Chappy.
