Very Nice home

I rented this house for 2 weekend and the house was very nice and close to Mt Bachelor. Was everything we expected and the owner was very good to work with.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area!

Beautiful home is a great area of Sunriver. Outside of the touristy area but close to all the attractions. Spent most of the on or near the river.

Very Clean and Modern Home

We enjoyed our weekend stay tremendously. The house is very modern and clean and is quite comfortable all around. The hot tub was a big highlight as was the location. Everyone staying for the weekend loved their rooms - rave reviews all around. I would definitely stay here again.

home sweet home

Very enjoyable place, with everything that we needed. Instructions/directions were also very clear and all encompassing. And 30mins from mt bachelor! Definitely considering renting here again.

We found the home clean,comfortable and nicely furnished as a vacation home. We rated the location outside of Sunriver a plus. The experience was as advertised with no surprises. We will keep this location at the top of our list when visiting the area.

Perfect Spot

Nice house tucked into the woods. Close enough to SunRiver to quickly drive into the village for dinner, groceries, etc. Didn't spend much time at the house but was very comfortable for our needs (2 couples). Garage was stocked with bikes, sleds, and games. Would be great for families.

The home is well maintained and comfortable

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home. It was clean and comfortable. The only issues I ran into was the pots and pans had lost all of their "non-stick" surface which made it difficult to cook certain things however, the kitchen itself was well stocked with essentials for cooking/eating. The location is great for Sunriver and Mt. Bachelor.

Wonderful. But!!!

Overall the house was great. Nice and clean. Quiet area. Only draw back was ALL the beds were very uncomfortable and the frying pans need to be replaced.

I try to make my renters as comfortable as possible. I stayed there a month ago and didn't have a problem with the beds but will look into it the next time I am there. As for the frying pan, I added a new frying pan a month ago and have a griddle for renters to use. I always try to keep my kitchen well stocked with cookware so my renters will have a easy time to cook and enjoy the house.

Enjoyed our stay

Great place. We have kayaks on top of our car and it was nice just to drive into the garage without taking them off. The home was close to East and Paulina Lakes. Just one thing-we couldn't find like baking sheets or casserole dishes. We enjoyed our stay there. Thanks-so-much

Whispering Pine Lodge

A great place to stay, close to Sunriver resort and mt. bachelor. A great one level home, great for kids. They do have a water softener, so it would be good to bring bottled water to drink. Their hot tub was clean and nice to use- especially after a hard day of snow sledding : ) The wifi works great too. We brought our chrome-cast to stream movies, but there is a dvd/vhs player to use as well.

Great stay at a wonderful place

The house was exactly as advertised and we had a wonderful stay. The place is very spacious, had all the necessary amenities, and great extras like the hot tub and bikes (we brought our own - next time we will save that hassle!). The Master Bedroom mattress was pretty firm, but still very comfy home. Lots of room, very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. I would totally recommend this rental to my friends and family. I hope to return again and will inquire about this property first thing!

Beautiful!

We had so much fun in this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the rocking chairs each morning. We saw deer travel through the yard every evening. We loved the game closet, bikes, hot tub and the foosball table was a hit! There are plenty of things to do in the area and we returned each day to the comfort of this cabin in the woods. Many wonderful family memories were made during our stay. Can't wait to return~

Excellent getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very well equipped. Since we were just too adult couples without our kids the house seemed very spacious - almost over large. If we'd have come 15 years ago with out young kids it would have been perfect size. A good kitchen that opens onto the full house, a BBQ, a hot tub, and excellent wifi are a must for me - and this house had all that. I love the location with easy access to Sunriver and Mt Bachelor. I would stay here again.

Wonderful, family-friendly home!

We found this home to be very comfortable for our two families of four (children ages 1 1/2, 4, 5, and 8). There are no stairs as it is a ranch stylehome. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen had a good assortment of cookware. The owner was very responsive and provided a high chair, bikes for kids and adults, and the basic toiletries you need for your stay. I would definitely stay here again. The location is quiet and there is plenty of room for parking.

Great place for family reunion

This is the first time I have stayed outside of the formal "Sunriver Resort" rentals.... and I like the comparative quiet of it. It should be noted, however, that it is a bit of a drive to the grocery, etc. (10-12 minutes). The space is lovely, although the kitchen could be somewhat better equipped. Plenty of room for different branches of the family, and running around space for kids ages 5-14.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at my house. I try and make it as enjoyable as can be. As for the kitchen, I'm always open to suggestions on how it can be better equipped. I try to think of everything a renter would need but if I am missing something, let me know. I want to make it as enjoyable as possible for my renters.

Very comfortable house, convenient to Bend

Our family of 3 couples with 2 children (5 years old and 9 months old) had a wonderful time at Whispering Pine. We found the location very convenient to Bend, the High Desert Museum and Newberry National Volcanic Monument. We were happily surprised to find a Pack 'n Play and highchair in the house. The bikes, including a small child bike, were a nice convenience. It was great to come back to the house and soak in the hot tub after hiking. The house was very clean and well equipped, both indoors and outdoors. We hope to use the house on another trip to the Bend area. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed Christy's house. It had all the kitchen goodies we needed. All the beds were comfortable. It was a heat wave when we were there. The AC worked very well. This house is located near the Fall River (20 min) for prime fly fishing. Sun River Resort is 5 minutes away for groceries and dining. It is in a very quiet subdivision with an unoccupied lot next door. Christy was very responsive to all my emails. Only negative was no usable darts for the dart board. We would come back again.

Golf outing

Loved the clean and comfortable space and locale for our golf outing. Was not fond of having to strip beds, load laundry and load dishwasher prior to leaving. Seems that s/b part of the cleaning fee...we're on vacation after all:>) Also fairly draconian on tp supply...didn't seem appropriate for 4 members. Thank goodness we didn't have 6 guests, would never have made 5 days and we're frugal. Also Cable was not available in main living space as well as no c/d or music access. Hot tub was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Sorry about the cable. I actually have cable on all the TV's but I didn't know that the front room was not working until I had another renter bring it to my attention. As far as the TP, there should be extra for each bathrooms. Thank you for letting me know!!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The master bedroom was perfect, as was the kitchen, dining

(Cont) room and living room spaces. Loved the gas fire. The problems were having to get another coffee maker because the first one leaked and the double bed mattress was NOT comfortable. Great garage and laundry room set up. It would have been nice to have room for two cars in the garage. The bikes,etc were in the way for a second car. Despite the negatives the positives far out weighed.

Glad you enjoyed the house. Once I found out the coffee maker was leaking I had the housekeeper bring you a new one. I try to keep my house fully functioning but sometimes it is out of my control. As for the mattress, this was the first I heard on this one. I have had a previous comment about the master mattress and I replaced that one in Nov. and I will look at this one when I come to the house in January. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. As for the garage, it's a 3 car garage and you should be able to fit two cars in there besides the bikes taking up one area of the garage. Guess it depends on the size of the vehicle. Hope you have a happy holiday!!

Oasis

What a wonderful place to have available for stays in central Oregon. The home is absolutely charming, clean and updated (actually, it's a fairly new construction). The location is superb as it's close enough for all the activities around the area that you might be interested in ... year-round; yet is located in a very quiet neighborhood for that restful sleep. We were delighted to find amenities at the home that we would not have thought of ... a closet full of table games, bikes in the garage, BBQ, etc. We had deer feeding in the front yard one morning of our stay and saw a few others in the neighborhood as we drove to and from the home. If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, beautiful accommodation while in this neck of the woods, this home should be at the top of your list. We loved it and recommend it without any hesitation at all.

Jewel of A Home

We spent two weeks over the Christmas Holidays at this lovely home. Photos do not do this home justice. It is much nicer in real life. We were so delighted when we arrived. It is spacious, clean and well appointed. The master-suite is lovely and the two other bedrooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. The bathrooms are large and clean. It is on a lovely, quiet street with nice neighbors. It is a nice alternative to Sunriver, much quieter. And, you can easily ride your bike to Sunriver. It is about 15 minutes from Mt. Bachelor. We usually go to Sunriver about three times a year and stay for two weeks at a time. So, we have stayed in alot of homes in Sunriver. This home is one of the nicest ever. It is just fabulous.
