Mio fratello e io siamo cresciuti in questa casa, e la nostra famiglia ancora gode di vacanze qui in momenti diversi durante tutto l'anno. Si trova su un bellissimo lago privato di 67 acri, alimentato a primavera (accesso vietato). Abbiamo una canoa, pedalò e paddleboard in modo da poter uscire e pescare o semplicemente divertirsi. La casa dista solo 30 minuti dalla costa del golfo, 25 minuti dal Tampa International Airpot e 2 ore dall'area Disneyworld. È 1400sf. La cucina ha tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno. La lavanderia è molto bella lavatrice / asciugatrice. C'è un posto auto coperto per un'auto e un ampio parcheggio aggiuntivo per altri veicoli.

Fabulous Stay

This is the third time we have stayed at this property; it is a wonderful home with a great dock, and equally fabulous fishing. The host is always available and checks in regularly to make sure we are ok! We will stay here again.

Quaint country lake house

We enjoyed the location immensely, waking up each morning to the beautiful sunrise over the lake. The home had ample supplies of basics and the kitchen was stocked with every cooking and serving utensil imaginable. Just down the road we had a fun time feeding carrots to the farm animals especially the alpaca, donkeys and goats. We had various guests over our 2 month stay and they all enjoyed the uniqueness and country charm of an older Florida lake house.

Great stay

We just completed a stay at this home over Thanksgiving week. The home is as described and pictured in the listing. Its an older home in a safe and established neighborhood and sits on a lovely piece of property on the lake. We would recommend this home to others.

Fabulous Property

We have stayed at this property once before and hope to come back again. The home and grounds are so beautiful; the whole experience is peaceful and calming. The furniture is super comfy and the kitchen is fully stocked. We just cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Hutton's Home. We feel blessed to have been able to stay there.

Peaceful hidden gem

This house is warm and inviting and sits on a beautiful, quiet, private lake. Conveniently located between Tampa, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin and Clearwater is a great for multiple activities. You could easily stay right at home and enjoy the lake. Owners are great people who were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Short Easter trip to see our daughter who lives in Tampa!

This property is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and the home was just as presented in the pictures on Vrbo! The house had everything we needed, plus some extras and an absolutely amazing view of the lake. It was perfect for us and we had a great time! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer but we hope to cirlcle back to this property on our next visit to our daughter :)

Another great stay at this property!

This was our third year of staying for a month at this property and we continue to appreciate this home and area! Very comfortable stay! My former reviews mentioned the water quality issues, but additional filtration to address this has successfully taken care of the problem, I’m happy to say! Any guests we’ve had have all really enjoyed this unique property as well. Pick up fresh eggs from the chickens around the corner!

Girls trip

My friends and I flew down to have a relaxing getaway!! We could not have been happier with our accommodations!! Dr. Hutton is a wonderful host and does an amazing job communicating with his guest before and after arrival!! I have stayed at several different rentals and this is by far the BEST!! If you are looking for a getaway that is quiet and relaxing that comes with all the comforts of home this is the one!!

Our second visit here!

This was our second visit to this beautiful property and it was just as enjoyable as we remembered. The house is extremely well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture and all the kitchen supplies you could possibly need for a long stay such as ours (10 days). The enclosed porch with a great lake view is a huge asset - and the lake sunrises are without equal. The host was extremely responsive to any question we had and kept in touch with us throughout our visit. A great choice for a Florida visit!

My Mom & I very much enjoyed our stay over the week of Christmas. The home & property were well equipped and maintained. Driving to Tampa & Clearwater Beach were pretty easy, as is Tarpon Springs.

Lovely lakeside home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Lives up to the five.star rating! It was amply supplied with everything we needed. All furnishings and beds are comfortable. It is located in a nice area on a quiet lake. We were able to make memories with our young grandchildren during their visits to the house. Thank you to Dr and Mrs Hutton for being responsive hosts and sharing this lakeside house. We hope to stay here again!

Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing

The property is in a quiet area with a lake view that is SOOO relaxing! The house is equipped with everything you might need and easy to get to. My husband sleeps in a recliner and the reclining loveseat was perfect! It was also about 30 minutes from the airport which was a plus for us. We had a great stay!

Lakefront Haven

Very spacious, quaint and peaceful. Extremely well equipped lake house with everything you could ever need and more. Dr. Hutton took time to address all of our concerns and questions and even remembered my wife's birthday and our anniversary. The water sport toys were an added bonus and we took advantage of the lanai daily. Very close to Honeymoon Island and Tarpon Spring. Dr. Hutton makes his childhood home your peaceful and tranquil escape. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Home comfort

This is such a comfortable home for us! The location is quiet, beautiful, rural and Florida quaint, but close to everything we would want from a Florida stay. Close to many options of affordable, public welcome golf, 30 minutes to gulf beaches, 10-15 minutes to many dining options and easy access to Tampa airport. We love the location and the view of the picturesque lake. We stay for several weeks and it’s just a really comfortable family home, not a frugally furnished typical rental house. The only ongoing issue to be aware of is the water, which was not resolved with the new water filtration system installed a year ago. It’s very hit or miss what turns orange, but if you have any special light colored clothes, I would avoid using them during your stay. I feel obliged to warn of this, yet have no hesitation in recommending this special home for a quiet, old Florida stay! The owner is great to work with, as well! Their love for this family home shows everywhere! FYI, out late at night with a flashlight, we spotted a baby alligator at the edge of the lake near the dock!

A great find

We feel so lucky to have found this listing among all the rest. This cozy house became a home for my husband and me for our 10-day stay. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises over the lake, long walks on the quiet roads, and hours each day in the screened in porch. The kitchen was fully supplied and we really loved the leather recliner couches in the living room. We took drives most days to area parks, beaches, and attractions. Our host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to every question we had and even went so far as to adjust our arrival date due to a family emergency. We are planning a return trip next year!

Fabulous Lakehouse Vacation!

We stayed four nights to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The property sits on a beautiful lake with a dock and kayaks/canoes available. We went out every day. The home itself was stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts even left a welcome basket for us. We were also less than 30 minutes from Dunedin, Honeymoon Island, Tarpon Springs, and the Citrus Park Mall. Our boys have a requested a return trip!

Felt like home!

Dr. Hutton’s place felt like going home to my grandparents’ house. We spent Christmas there and it was perfect! The home is well stocked - even had a bottle of vanilla flavoring for sweet potato casserole! Dr. Hutton is so gracious and helped up even arrange shipping for Christmas presents and returning items that arrived late. Beyond anything he needed to do! The location is perfect - rural but 15 minutes to everything. The lake is a great feature we loved having coffee out on the dock. Thank you, Dr, Hutton for making this trip home so special by sharing your home!
