The cabin is welcoming and very cozy!! It is well equipped with all the amenities!! The view is amazing!! We were fortunate to be there for the first snow of the season and what a wonderful experience!! Our host was very accommodating!! We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The historic cabin was fascinating and pleasantly quirky. But all of the modern conveniences were there. Just be sure to get your groceries before you come in.

Cozy, mountain cabin with Wonder fall colors views around, peaceful. Great kitchen, family get together was amazing. Retro decor was so cool to teach the kids about different things. Host was wonderful with quick communication and help. Overall a great stay, highly recommend.

There was supposed to be a working fire place but couldn’t find a way to turn on the gas fire place. The guide said a remote could be found on the mantle but there wasn’t a remote to be found for the fire place. Other than that we had a wonderful time staying in the mountain cabin. Pictures didn’t do it justice. It was a beautiful location. A well kept home. Very clean and inviting. There was absolutely everything we needed and extras that most host don’t provide. It was a wonderful trip our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. It’s 30 minutes out of town and worth the drive! We met the neighbors and explored the trails. It was safe enough for our toddler but also perfect for the adults. We couldn’t thank the host enough for sharing such a beautiful slice of heaven.

We enjoyed our quiet and restful time at this wonderful cabin. It was interesting to walk through the cabin and see the pictures, sculptures and old appliances. The spacious kitchen was a special highlight allowing for plenty of room to move around. We picked a perfect time to visit with the Fall colors just starting to show from the nice view in the Sunroom. Draco, our German Shepherd, especially liked this location so he could watch the cows. :-) The best I can say is that this will become our repeat destination and we look forward to touring more of the area in the future.

Definitely Irresistible

The cabin was absolutely perfect for families, and was very thoughtfully stocked with lots of toys and games to entertain children of all ages. The cabin was warm and inviting, however the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings will certainly draw you outside. The worst part of the trip was having to leave

Family Wedding in Mountain City

It was everything we were hoping for! Peace and quiet, various activities for the family, like hot tub, foosball, and plenty of land for hiking. We attended a family wedding at a venue nearby, but most of our time was spent at the VRBO property and it was heaven! Owners were very easy to get a hold of and quick to respond with someone nearby if we needed a face-to-face as we did. We would definitely stay again

Relaxing and accommodating

The cabin was perfect for our girl’s trip with 6 adults. It was very well equipped with things we needed. The host was quick to respond with the minor trouble we had with the lock upon arrival. We would stay again without hesitation.

AMAZING!!!

Let me just say, the pictures don’t even do this place justice. My family and I sworn Christmas here and it was all we could have ever wanted and more. The cabin is charming, clean and just secluded enough. Host was attentive, kind and made our stay feel extra special. If you’re looking for a cabin in NC, I couldn’t recommend this place more. We will absolutely be back :)

25th anniversary celebration

We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen had everything that we needed and the beds were supper comfy. The cabin is amazing and very unique. Loved the photos of the transformation! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful cabin with us.
