This property is our favorite stay. Quiet on the headwaters of the Pere Marquette River. Paul is a great host and is quick to respond to any questions or needs. Our trip is a week of fishing and relaxing. This was our 3rd or 4th time staying in this house with 8 people and it never fails to be our favorite trip of the year.

We had a fabulous time, lots of space inside. Very clean- beautiful secluded & serene spot on the river. Very close to many lakes and trails. We had great adventures! Also the national forest is worth checking out!

No fuss host and overall property. Beautifully located on the Middle Branch Section of the PM as well.I’ve been fishing and staying in the Baldwin Area for over 30 years - wish I knew about Paul’s place sooner. The property is beautiful, close to convenience stores, DT Baldwin, and many other river access points while also being secluded enough to feel like you’re still “camping” without the crowds.Paul is a top tier host. Very well communicated and was quick to respond all the time I needed something (even while he was out in the woods hunting).I would 1000% stay here again.

This is a lovely, tranquil home with a nice layout. We were disappointed at the cleanliness.

Im sorry you were disappointed about the cleanliness ! As the first rental of the season i personally went through it and the only thing I seen was something on the finish of the oak table that somebody didnt use a coaster and tried scrubbingvit but it was almost dried on like glue ? I sprayed something on it to see if it would come out later ? I might have overlooked going back to finish ,I apologize for your inconvenience "

River is visible from house, very clean and peaceful. Firepit was lovely once weather cooled. House and kitchen appliances are fully stocked. We had a wonderful trip. Paul was responsive and very helpful. Thank you!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

This property worked well for our long weekend away with family. Access to things in Ludington, beautiful property and well stocked kitchen and cooking utensils. The satellite TV was great too!!

Great location

The location on the middle branch of the PM was great. Excellent fire pit and plenty of room for the family. The host goes above and beyond, we'll book again.

The loaction is at the end of a private drive. The house is close to the river where there is a dock. The home was perfect for our purpose. It had a firepit near the river with plenty of wood.

Great place!

This was the perfect spot for our family get together. The 3 levels helped to space people out, the outside was fabulous for conversation around the fire, playing in the water, outdoor games, plenty of parking, etc. Paul is a friendly guy and very accommodating!

Beautiful setting for family getaway

We had a great stay. The owner reached out ahead of time to provide information, answered our questions while we were there, and had great information in the home to help make our stay as easy as possible. We loved having multiple spaces, upstairs and down, to hang out. The outdoor spaces were fantastic. The docks were perfect for sitting and watching the fish go by. We're definitely booking another stay!

Great getaway

We enjoyed how quiet and convenient the cabin was to fishing access. The cabin was very well equipped with all the conveniences on would need for a week's stay. All appliances and utilities were in great working order. Everything we needed for enjoying our stay for fishing the Pierre Marquette and Traverse City Bay. Would be a great place for a family stay.

Paul provides great service, communicating in advance everything you need to know. The cabin is well stocked, extremely comfortable, and very roomy! The docks provide a beautiful view of the river, the bonfire put provides a great place to tell stories, and the beds are super comfy. This was our second stay at Paul's cabin and we're already checking calendars for when we can make our next trip.
