Fuggi dal nostro grande, bellissimo Ski & Hike Mountain Haven situato nella zona più selvaggia di Silverthorne, CO. La nostra casa è a pochi chilometri da molte fantastiche località sciistiche tra cui: Keystone, Copper Mountain, Loveland, Arapahoe Ski Basin, Cooper Mtn. E Breckenridge. Siamo anche vicini a molti fantastici sentieri escursionistici. La nostra casa si trova anche dall'altra parte della strada rispetto alla testa del sentiero Mesa Cortina ea circa un miglio dal sentiero Lily Pad Lake. Puoi goderti l'incredibile tremito, Aspen alberi gialli in autunno e goderti molte attività sul lago nelle vicinanze in primavera, estate e autunno. Porta tutta la famiglia o fai una seconda luna di miele. Il nostro Mountain Haven può ospitare comodamente fino a 18 persone e ha anche 2 cucine complete. Che tu sia qui per trascorrere la giornata facendo escursioni, pescando con la mosca, navigando, sciando o semplicemente rilassandoti, puoi iniziare la giornata prendendo un caffè con vista sul bellissimo lago Dillon e ammirando le magnifiche montagne, comprese le piste di Keystone. Ci sono diverse piccole città nelle vicinanze (Dillon, Frisco e Breckenridge) dove è possibile gustare cibo meraviglioso, shopping e attività divertenti. Puoi uscire e giocare, cercare avventure o semplicemente restare a casa e rilassarti nella vasca idromassaggio con acqua salata, ammirare il panorama, leggere un libro o semplicemente guardare la TV. Quindi puoi concludere ogni giorno rilassandoti nel nostro bagno turco su misura. Vieni a creare i tuoi ricordi di famiglia nel nostro rifugio di montagna per famiglie!
NOTA: abbiamo un paio di richieste specifiche alle quali chiediamo a ciascun ospite di aderire. Si prega di togliersi le scarpe (con neve / acqua / fango) prima di entrare in casa. Lascia tutti gli scarponi da neve e gli attrezzi da neve NEL GARAGE. (Ci sono rack forniti per questi articoli)
Inoltre, NON FUMARE è consentito in casa o nel garage.

Great Stay in the Mountains!

We spent Thursday through Monday here and had a great stay! We couldnt get the heat to stop so we turned it off but besides that it was a perfect stay! Great views and close to the town to go to lunch/dinner.

Location was beautiful and the house was the perfect size for our large family gathering. Signs(rules) on the front and garage doors, as well as taped to the wall were off putting and not welcoming, especially since we had already been given the rules, as well as having them provided in a book on the table. Overall was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family loved the house and the view of Dillon Lake was great! There were 16 of us staying in the house, and we had plenty of sleeping space. The host were very prompt in replying to my messages. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property!

Great location! Close proximity to many family activities. Love the spaciousness with lots of beds and gorgeous view from the deck. Amazing mountain experience

Bill was great to communicate with. We stayed for five nights and had such a nice time. Easy to get into town. A great trail right across the street. Animals eating in the backyard in the morning and evening. Hot tub was awesome. Everything was clean. We will definitely be staying again if we are in the area!

Very accommodating for large families with children. Distribution of bedrooms well-placed to give individual privacy and space while the great room upstairs had more than enough room to accommodate everyone for meals, games and Santa Claus. Best equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered. Two separate washer/dryer units was a bonus. The views were spectacular, especially the sunrise. Conveniently close to town, outlets, roads to ski areas and groceries. But when you are at the house you are surrounded by nature, Aspen groves, hiking trails and breathtaking views. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

This was a great place for our family of 12. Location close to Lake Dillon, hikes within walking distance, Breckenridge/Frisco, and 1.5 hours from Denver. Grocery and restaurants close by too. Loved the room sizes and hot tub. We had a blast!!

When we got there, everything was fine, but we couldn’t get through the back door from the garage. There were just no key to go onto the deck.Everything was fine, but some of us fell as though due to the refrigerator it was more of our responsibility and we feel as though there should be some compensation for other people coming into our property as well as having to be there but everything turned out well, so we’ll see what you guys do about thatThere were no washcloths in the bathrooms or hand towelsThe Wi-Fi in the basement was not workable. The girls could not use their iPads.There was no pods to do laundry in the little jarWe clean the grill scrubbed it it was filthyThe kitchen was well stocked that was extremely goodI think for other guest, you should have hand towels, so we don’t use so many paper towels FYIThe circulation in the house was OK only because we opened the doors and windowsThe hot tub was extremely hot. It was 108.And we really couldn’t enjoy itWe didn’t even use the steam roomWe had to wait for approximately an hour to an hour and a half for Lowe’s to bring the refrigerator into the garage which that’s what the girls feel is, though we should be compensated back forWe took all the sheets off, put them at the end of the bed, put the towels in the washing machine started the dishwasher, but did not start the laundryOther than that, it was very well stocked. We sincerely apologize for the several smaller details that were missed before your arrival. Our cleaning team is given the number of guests staying in the home and is expected to provide enough bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for that number. The laundry pods are also normally stocked by our cleaning team. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as it gives us an opportunity to follow up with them and make sure these details are not overlooked for future guests. Regarding the Wi-Fi in the basement, the home has a three-node mesh Wi-Fi system designed to provide coverage on all three floors. It sounds like one of the Wi-Fi nodes may have been unplugged, and we will have that checked. We also appreciate you letting us know about the grill and the hot tub temperature. A hot tub temperature of 108° is certainly not where it should have been, and we will make sure that is addressed. Finally, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the refrigerator replacement and the time you spent waiting for the delivery. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we dealt with an unexpected appliance issue during your stay. The house is amazing. There is so much room and it’s a great layout. We had a big group and everyone had excellent accommodations. We boarded at keystone. Be aware parking is tough on peak days.

Our names are Bill and Susan Slappey, and we have 5 grown children. Our main priority in life is making Christ known to all that we can. We have been foster parents to over 22 children and we currently have 8 grandchildren. We grew up and live in Birmingham, Alabama (Sweet Home, Alabama, Roll Tide Roll).
We love our family and love spending time together at home and traveling. Perhaps our best trips have been to Grand Cayman and Israel. We love the movies Courageous and War Room by the Kendrix brothers. Stephen Curtis Chapman, Kari Jobe, and Ellie Holcombe are our favorite singers and song writers. We love adventure and the awesomeness of God's great creation. We also love to travel and to hike.
Our life motto and verses are Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

I surely hope we don't offend, but we do love Christ with all our hearts, and love to talk about Him to all who want to hear. I hope this home brings great fun, fellowship, and family time to all that come.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love this place for it's great views of Lake Dillon, of the snow-covered mountains, the quaking, yellow Aspen trees, great family hiking trails, and fantastic sledding and ski slopes. Our home is big enough for my kids and grandkids to gather and be together to just hang out, or to go out on incredible adventures just moments away from our door steps. There is something great to do here ANY time of year.
