Perfect location. Close to everything by the harbor and yet so quiet. We definitely plan on staying here again when we visit Santa Cruz again!

The house was perfect for our stay. Nice little backyard for the dogs, couple blocks from the beach, well appointed and clean. Beds were very comfortable… so much better than a hotel room!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We are local to SC and needed a place while our house was getting done (always stressful), and this VRBO was perfect for us. It had one of the better appointed kitchens I've had in a vacation rental, which as a cook, I really appreciated. I'd absolutely stay again, or recommend it to family and friends visiting.

Property was great! Very clean and many basic amenities provided. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Great location, just up from Twin Lakes beach and an easy 30 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and rides. The host was great and very communicative. We will definitely return to the area and hope this unit is available when we do! Mahalo!

The house is close to the beach and the harbor. We enjoyed walking across the bridge with our dog to the north harbor. Very easy check in process.

Nice house in a good location close to the beach and harbor. It had everything we needed and we appreciated our dogs were welcome.

Wonderful beach cottage

We had a great time at this light, bright, beachy cottage. The location is fabulous--a quick walk to the beach and harbor. The house is comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped.

Wonderful weekend

The location was perfect! No struggles with finding parking to the beach.. Quite neighborhood without traffic, perfect location for family with kids. Beach is down the street…will definitely stay again..

This was our second year staying at this beach house in Santa Cruz, and we already hope to come back again next year! The house is always clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. The parking makes it a real steal for the location. We walked to the beach everyday and music on the beach at night.It has just about everything you need for a relaxing stay. The only thing to note is that you'll want to bring your own condiments and pantry basics, as those aren't provided. Other than that, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need and for going to the beach (towels, chairs, toys)We've had another wonderful stay and highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place to enjoy Santa Cruz. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect spot

We loved our stay at the 8th Ave cottage. Perfect location and had everything we needed. We could have used softer beds, but that our personal preference. We’ll definitely be booking another stay in the future.

MThe house was tidy and cozy, just a short walk fro the beach. But be aware that you’re really renting through Beachnest Rental that requires a lengthy contract.

Wonderful gem!

Our family of 3, plus 2 small dogs, had a blast at this cottage. The location cannot be beat (easy walk to the beach), and the cottage was lovely. It had a nicely outfitted kitchen and great sectional for lounging. Relaxing vibe, responsive to our questions - definitely recommend!

We were happy to find this dog friendly location within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and coffee (less than 3 blocks). The house was clean, communication was easy, and there were two outdoor areas with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. The back yard had grass and was completely fenced in and the front patio was semi fenced in. Our dog liked to spend her mornings out front in the sun, while I sat in the shade, read my book, and drank my coffee. I would highly recommend this location. Thank you!

Cute house updated very clean short walk to beach. I traveled with 2 dogs nice to have a fenced backyard. My little 23 pound dog did find a couple of openings in fence. I would stay there again

Loved the place and the location. Property wasn’t ready on time . I had to wait til 447 pm. Good thing I didn’t pay for the early arrival, also I couldn’t bring my dog because the discloser stated that my pet couldn’t be over 45lbs. Something I didn’t see until I had payed . I tried to call the property manager and left a message 2 days prior with no answer, so I just left my dog at home .
