We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The property itself was very nice—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and having convenient parking was a huge plus. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfect location in the middle of crested Butte. The house has everything you need and has a great, open, feel to it. We really enjoyed the backyard and the access to bikes to take around town. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible location, very clean, nice backyard and kitchen, and check in and check out was very easy. The only minor downside was sleeping setup. The pillows were quite thin and the bed frame in the secondary bedroom was pretty rustic (it had been repaired a few times it seems but the repairs had started to fail)

Wonderfull Family Getaway!

We booked a last minute trip to Crested Butte as a family of 5, and this was the absolute best place for a much needed getaway! The cottage was is cozy, stocked with everything we needed and has a beautiful backyard. We loved all the fun games and the comfortable couch to watch movies on at night. The location is perfect, just a short walk from town. Sasa was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we and an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

perfect location

The CB experience

We got the true CB experience staying in town. The cottage had everything we needed with some extra items that weren't expected, like coffee, spices, coffee filters, and more. Great location.

Labor Day Weekend Stay

We've been coming to CB for four years now and have been wanting to stay closer to downtown. There were two couples and this was the perfect stay for us! It is walking distance from downtown restaurants and shops, and exactly what it looks like in photos. We enjoyed the yard and fire pit with some smores one evening and it was the perfect night! Inside the home is cozy and inviting. The large sectional was the perfect place to watch a movie and listen to the rain one afternoon. The tea selection was a nice touch as well. We plan to come back and bring our toddler next year! There is plenty of room to set up a pack n play. It's also across the street from a very nice playground and field for the kids. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect CB getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay in Crested Butte. Sasa's home was a perfect launching pad for hiking in the area, and we loved being able to walk into town for dinner in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

To start with the positive, the location was fantastic. We walked everywhere-town, restaurants, grocery store and some hikes. It was still very quiet in spite of the proximity to town. The host checked in and was very responsive. The negatives were first of all, there is not lock or door handle on the outside door. The next door has a lock, so it felt a little safer. The kitchen was renovated and well equipped. The upstairs bathroom was somewhat updated and clean. The bedrooms however, had cobwebs, were dusty and the pillows were so uncomfortable. Flat and hard. I think some new, more comfortable bedding would make a big difference.

Perfect spot in Crested Butte

We had a wonderful stay at Cloud Cottage on Elk. The check-in process was very easy, and the home had everything we needed. We loved how close the home was to the main street. Sasa made sure our stay was enjoyable. We'd love to stay there again!

Great cottage

We loved staying at cloud cottage. It was perfect for our family with 3 grown children. Sasa was so attentive to our needs. The place is adorable. Lots of games and a stocked pantry really enhanced our stay.

Best in the Butte!

Loved our cozy, clean place located just blocks from downtown and the bus station. Owner could not have been nicer or more attentive and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations at our request. Excellent choice!

Fantastic place!

Clean, comfortable accommodation within easy walking distance to the restaurants and bars in CB. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the easy on-site parking, washer/dryer, and well-appointed kitchen.

A great place to stay in Crested Butte

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient to town, parking was adequate, the place was very clean, and well-appointed. The kitchen is especially nice, for the small amount of cooking we did. Stairs to the upper level are a little steep, but it’s an older home and has a lot of charm. would definitely stay there again.

I'm a true local, having grown up in Crested Butte, moved away after high school, and have finally back after 21 years! I've lived all over the US, as well as overseas, but in 2016 I moved back from LA where I was working as an accountant for TV and film. Now I run my new company, Jamie's Jerky, with my father, bringing the world the best Grass Fed Beef Jerky and Turkey Jerky. LA was my home for 7.5 years(never thought I'd say that) and I lived in a great house where I started my first Vacation rental...I am really sad to have left that house, but it was time to move on. The last two years I hosted out of places I was renting, however, in 2018 I am finally a home owner in CB and can create a home I truly care about! I'm super chill and can't wait to share my new home in my old hometown with new people and new faces. Opening my house to new and returning guests brings a smile to my face... hoping you all can feel at home while on your vacation :)

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Why this property??? Well, because it's in a great location and owned by a local! :) We are the Wildflower capital of Colorado... Join us for the wildflower festival every year mid-July. We also have the best skiing around. Mountain biking started here in Crested Butte and now we have an extensive network of single track trails and an app to track your routes. Plenty of camping and hiking and jeeping and relaxing and running and events and friendly faces!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

This property is centrally located, being only 1.5 blocks from the bus to take you up to the slopes. And being on the main drag, you only have to walk west to hit all the shops and restaurants in downtown CB. It's 1/4 block to the town park for picnics, jungle gym, and soccer games. Very quiet neighborhood with local families as neighbors.
