This is a great listing. It is a very spacious and well appointed house with one bedroom and two bathrooms. The owners are quite close and super pleasant to deal with. I hope to rent from them again in 2027 for a month.

The house was beautiful. Modern, had everything we needed. View is unbeatable. Loved the big back balcony with comfortable furniture. Easy access to the beach. Host was extremely helpful and prompt answering. Highly recommend

Fantastic Casita

Privacy but still close to town. We loved being able to snorkel, fish, & kayak right in front of the property.

Wonderful Stay in Los Barilles!

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here in Los Barilles. This home is beautiful, everything we needed, including Paul and Sally's very helpful ideas on vacationing in this area of Mexico. We will hopefully be privileged to come back here soon!

Gentle rhythm of waves, a vast view of the Sea of Cortez and as you open your eyes in the morning be treated to the most amazing sunrises floor to ceiling height in every room. Simple and luxurious, coastal perfect. We look forward to your future return!

Absolutely incredible stay!Casa Tortuga exceeded our expectations. The unobstructed ocean views from almost every room were stunning. Very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. We loved having access to the kayaks — the water was perfect for kayaking and snorkeling, making our trip even more memorable.The home is very well stocked, with spacious rooms and plenty of comfortable outdoor space to enjoy. It also felt wonderfully private.One tip: we recommend arranging a ride from SJD and renting an ATV or side-by-side in LB— it made getting around much easier and added to the fun.

Lovely and peaceful

My husband and I spent a week at Casa Tortuga in December 2016. The casa is lovely and spacious, perfect for a couple. We enjoyed sitting out on the veranda overlooking the water and listening to the sound of the waves. We plan to come back.

Absolutely Wonderful Place

We had a great experience here, and in the Los Barilles area. The owners were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The house was spectacular, with, among many things, amazing sunrises, great spaces to hang out, inside and out, plenty of open space, and everything we needed. We'd come back in a second.

Very beautiful home, nicely and tastefully furnished. Check in and communication with the owner and property manager were excellent. Location was exactly what we were looking for. We will come back if we can get it again. It’s popular!

Amazing!

Our stay was so great. Brian and Lucy were the best and most communicative and helpful hosts. The property/view is lovely and very private. We loved listening to the water lapping all night. We especially loved getting out in the kayaks to float with all the devil rays. We rented an ATV to get back and forth to town and pickleball and that was fun too. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We couldn't have asked for more!

Brian and Lucy are the epitome of hospitality! They have one of the most comfortable, beautiful, and neatly appointed properties on the East Cape. We had everything we needed in a comfortable clean environment to enjoy our honeymoon! We can't say enough about the friendly welcoming atmosphere they provided. We absolutely would stay no where else.

Fantastic Baja property

This was our second time renting on this property and we absolutely love it. We stayed at the small casita next to the waters edge last year, and this year we stayed at the main house. You can't go wrong with either one. Gorgeous views and great location. We travel a fair amount and this is probably the nicest rental we have ever had. Loved the space and layout. Everything was in nice condition and those views....Wow.

Beautiful Casa Tortuga

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortably furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking from every window and especially from the spacious verandas. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Safety, security and privacy are not a concern as the gracious hosts, Brian and Lucy, live (very unobtrusively) on the grounds. Casa Tortuga is truly one of the finest properties we've ever stayed and we recommend it highly!

Delightful

Serenity; expansive ocean view and access; spacious; and Paul and Sally were so easy to work with. Loved the proximity (about 1/2 mile) to the new, exquisite pickleball club, Tres Palapas with it's 10 courts; amazing restaurant serving super fresh, quality ingrediants; and awesome, welcoming staff Ana, Amanuel, Lawrence and "Tiny" Tony. We'll be back.

Spectacular

Paul and Sally were great hosts. Beautiful home, felt very safe. Was able to go for runs wo worry. The neighborhood and locals were very social and helpful. Definitely on our list to come back. Pickleball was a lot fun also. Had a lesson with Paul. Basically I learned another sport and loved it. Thanks again for the opportunity to stay at your home.
