This property is beautiful and in a great location. It was perfect for a 3 girls weekend get away. Anything you need is there. The owner is very detail oriented. The only downside was due to the weather, there was acorns everywhere n constantly dropping on the roof. Having a blower to blow off the patio would have been nice. Other than that it was absolutely perfect. We didn't want to leave.

This was our second stay at Sea Glass Cottage. Agents I communicated with were friendly, helpful and quick to answer questions.

St Simon’s Island

This charming home is beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Exactly as described in the listng and just a short walk from the beach. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Especially nice when it’s raining to have a great house, a calm, serene environment, and all the amenities.

Loved this property. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. House is beautifully decorated, clean and kitchen is well stocked for cooking.

Wonderful place

House was great, clean, cozy and enough room for us. Close to beach and restaurants so no need to always drive ! Only downfall is it's on the main street, a bit more noise and traffic then expected, but by 10 each night it was quiet. Great place!!!

Well equipped and AC worked wonderfully! The property manager was attentive and helpful.

Very comfortable accommodations; enjoyed just pulling up and front door was only a few steps away so unloading was so easy and convenient. The condo was clean and the beach decorations were lovely. Easy access; Suggestions: invest in Smart TV for family room; plug a few gaps in the backyard fence so small dogs can’t get out when going outside.

The open floor plan was great, the tv had all of the streaming platforms available, and the house location was perfect! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this cottage several times. Each time we have found the unit the complete experience we are looking for. The unit itself is always prepared with everything we need. The unit has TWO suites with private bathrooms and king-sized beds. Upstairs there is a complete suite with two singles, a private bath and a small TV room. The unit is close to six restaurants which are an easy 5 minute walk away. One is actually a brewery that has great food and friendly bartenders who can help direct you to other experiences while you are in the area. This cottage is about a mile from the Village area of St. Simons where you will find more places to each and great shopping. Some places have music at night. Oh, the beach! Just a three minute walk away. It is flat and you can walk everywhere.

Close to beach! Clean and cute beach theme home

Had a fabulous time on our 3 night trip. The house had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. We were traveling with 2 dogs so the fenced in back yard was perfect. The location was close to beaches and tourist sites incl gift shops. Wed & Thur the King and Prince resort right on beach 2 min from our location has $5 happy hour with live music and huge fireplace. Highly recommend Half Shell restaurant for fresh catch and butter cake! The visitors center was very helpful in providing maps and good info about the island. Can highly recommend this rental.

Overall we had a nice stay. The inside was very clean and all the furniture was comfortable. We chose this unit due to the closeness to the beach (2 block walk) and the fenced in back yard for our dogs. The yard was fairly small, mostly a narrow pinestraw wrap around the deck and the house. FWIW our dogs did not like stepping on the straw. The other notable negatives were the ongoing construction at the adjacent property. Upon arrival we noticed a gulley of sewage-looking water eminating from that site. It smelled and leaked into our unit's yard. While the host (the realty agency) was quick to look into it and notify the owners, nothing was done. The water eventually drained into the proper drainage gutter over the next day or 2. The construction was not advertised on VRBO. Second, the washer did not work and we were told it had been broken for at least 2 weeks prior to our arrival. Overall it was convenient, comfy unit but somewhat overpriced given these issues.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the condition and the home itself. The owners have done a fantastic job with the decor. The absolute only issue that constantly came up were the roaches coming up from tubs and sinks and mysteriously in the kitchen during day and night. Being told by the property manager that this is normal and you just have to tolerate it did not work with us. We've stayed at VRBO's in St. Simons before and never once had this issue. Unfortunately we chose to cut our stay almost in half due to this with no apology or ownership of the issue. If this issue did not exist, we would have come back next year.

"Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with bugs during your stay, but we would like to clarify that the bugs you encountered are Palmetto bugs, which are a common occurrence in the area during rainy seasons. We have our homes exterminated inside and out regularly to prevent bugs from coming inside, but it's difficult to completely eliminate them, given the tropical climate of the island. We understand that bugs can be unpleasant for our guests, but we cannot guarantee a bug-free environment. At Emmons Realty, we want our guests to be comfortable and happy, so we offered to have an exterminator over. As the guests mentioned they stayed most of their reservation and did not have a problem. This home is one of our most popular. Please read other reviews.
