There were alot of positive things about this property, but there are also some things that are not so great. The location of this property is absolutely beautiful! The lake is amazing and the dock was perfect for sitting around the fire pit and hanging out. The cabin was very clean, and the decor inside the cabin was awesome . There were some great updates in the cabin that made it feel more modern which was nice. Plenty of firewood was provided to use for the fireplace and the fire pit on the dock. This was perfect because the second night we were there it turned pretty cold. All linens were provided along with basic dishes/utensils. The owner even provided s’mores supplies which was a great touch . But there were other things that unfortunately fell a little short. Communication was great initially, but fell off considerably leading up to our check in. It became better once we actually checked in. The pictures online make this cabin look much larger than it really is. It’s quaint, so better suited and perfect for 3-4 people. Regular Maintenance items seemed to be lacking some; sliding glass door was hard to open and kept coming off the track, zero lighting for deck/stairs so bring a flashlight, master bath toilet not secure and would wobble, towel rack loose, and the pontoon boat had almost every seat severely torn. Spider webs and large spiders were all over the front entrance that we knocked down. This is not a horrible cabin. It just needs a little TLC

Relaxing Getaway

The property was a great location on the lake. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hot tub needed some TLC but it was hot outside so spent a lot of time in the lake and on the water toys.

Great weekend getaway

Had a great weekend getaway! Was perfect for two families to hang out and enjoy the lake. The dock was beautiful! For the price wish there were steak knives and a blind in the loft so that it was dark when kids wanted to go to bed early. Love the amenities from the bikes ( wish both were working) to the paddle board and kayaks. Had a blast!

They property was amazing just like it’s in the pictures . Super clean really nice inside and out . The water toys where a great feature also . We will definitely be back . Tyler was very responsive and friendly .

Inside of Cabin was nice and clean. Outside needs a little work. None of the outdoor lighting on the stairs and back deck worked. One of the aqua bikes was in disrepair and was not usable. Deck and kayaks full of leaves.

Weekend at the Lake

The home was lovely. It was a perfect fit for our group. The upstairs loft was surprisingly roomy for our teen girls. 4 full size bunks! The water toys were a plus. The hydro bikes were a big hit. The kids spent a few mindless afternoons fishing and splashing. The kids discovered the games and found a few we will be adding to our own collection. Our first visit to the lake and we would definitely rent again! Great location!

The home was just as listed. Beautiful place to stay and relax.

Lakefront long weekend

From the reservation to check out, this was a very easy process. Tyler was responsive to every question and the home provided everything we needed. Boat rental was easy although we had kayaks, paddle board and water bikes as part of the property. Definitely hope to return.

Supper cute stay in a hidden gem!

Did not expect to find such a great area to stay at in Georgia. The house is amazing and in a gated community on a lake that was just perfect! It was quite and calming. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel at home! We will definitely be returning!

Spring Break 2021

This cabin was everything that we imagined it to be and we really enjoyed ourselves. This location is a great to get away from the hustle and bustle and helps you slow down and enjoy the outdoors while spending time with family. We love to adventure and took advantage of the communities great trails as well as we visited a local winery called Big Door. Tyler was a great host and reached out a few times during our stay to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We will be back! Thank you Tyler....

Get Away From it All

We are looking forward to visiting this property again! Clean, great layout and has the essentials you need. Hit the grocery and grab what you need because once you arrive you won’t want to leave. Nice having all the water toys, amazing dock and hot tub was really cleaned. All around loved this place.

Like flying First Class

Perfect getaway for all ages. Our 3rd time here and we can’t say enough about the quality of this Lake house and it’s amenities. Spotless with great follow up service. Lake access and views are wonderful!

The Perfect Getaway

From the initial booking through leaving Tyler's communication was wonderful -- from random questions to general stay information. The house is like stepping into a HGTV "after," perfectly curated with comfy in mind. The kitchen was well equipped for seven nights of cooking in for five people. We spent most of our time outside. The deck area is just great. There is something for everyone's taste. So glad we rented the boat, it was great to be able to just come and go as we wanted and be able to check out the entire lake. The water was clean and great for swimming. The community has nice, well marked hiking trails. I can't imagine you would ever regret staying here!

Fantastic slice of summer!

We've been repeat clients of BlueGill Basecamp. It is set up perfectly for a family or friends to have a relaxing weekend on the lake. Swim, water bike, canoe, paddleboard, kayak and more all in the clear, quiet surrounds of Lake Arrowhead. Cabin is well equipped and clean perfect for those buffet style feasts or curling up to watch a movie. Had another great weekend!! Thanks T!

This property had the best view and had all the right accessories to have fun on the lake. Tyler the property manager was awesome from the check in to renting the boat from him. We would come again for sure.

Family Getaway

Used this location as vacation to gather the family that has been spreading out over several states. Everyone loved the house and deck/dock and we have already talked about a return stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Loved the deck and dock. We spent days swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and riding hydrobikes.

Very nice property

Beautiful property. Tyler was very helpful with any questions we had. The only thing missing was outside dining table. Other than that it was great.
