Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you found the home to be nice, though we're sorry it wasn't your favorite stay. We were surprised to hear about the trash issue, as your notification was the first time anyone had brought it to our attention. As soon as we learned of the problem, we worked to have it addressed as quickly as possible. Trash collection on Hilton Head has unfortunately been inconsistent at times, but the accumulated trash was removed promptly once we became aware of it. We also want to reassure future guests that the cameras you noticed inside the home are not connected or operational. They were installed solely so the homeowner could monitor the house during off-season when it is empty and are not used when the property is rented. While the home does not have a large walk-in pantry, the kitchen offers ample cabinet space for guests to store groceries and other items during their stay. Finally, we understand that home layouts and design preferences are subjective. While this particular floor plan may not have been the right fit for your needs, it has been enjoyed by hundreds of guests over the years. Thank you again for your feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed the house. The house had been empty for some time and a big storm came through right before arrival so that accounted for the musty/damp smell. All is good now!

We are so glad that this guest enjoyed their visit. This truly a gem of a home and at the price, it is a great value. We have recently discovered that if the guest shows the guard at the gate our check in instructions email that states the pass is in the home, they will most likely let the guest through without purchasing the daily pass.
