The stairs down to our beach can definitely be a challenge, particularly for guests who have difficulty with stairs. For future guests looking for an easier way to enjoy Lake Michigan, we highly recommend Buttersville Beach, just about four minutes north on Lakeshore Drive. You can drive right up near the sand, making it a great option for anyone who would rather avoid the stairs. It’s actually our favorite nearby public beach! Summit Park is another option about four minutes south, with a short trail and just a few steps down to the beach. We’re happy you were able to explore Ludington State Park as well.
