Before our week-long stay started, Adam was incredibly helpful, friendly, and communicated better than any host I've had before. The property is awesome: the view of the lake is spectacular, the deck and 6-person table are perfect for meals, the backyard and fire pit area is well-cared for, and the dock is spacious and in great shape. The kayaks were clean and fun to use. The cottage itself left some to be desired. The place overall was very clean, but some of the "deeper" areas (cabinets, drawers, etc.) were a bit messy and much of the dishware could have been cleaner. The kitchen is pretty small with not much counter space, and we were forced to rearrange/put away several things to be able to more easily cook and fully open the coffee maker and garbage can. However, it is very well equipped with appliances and cookware. With the size of the place, I couldn't imagine staying there with another couple, let alone a family - I think it would only work if you spent almost all of your time outside and only did simple cooking. However, the living room is cozy, well-decorated, and has comfortable seating. The little fireplace was a great feature, too. The water pressure is very bad, and you can't really shower and have a faucet on at the same time. We also didn't have hot water for the last 2.5 days of our stay, but these things happen and Adam did his best to resolve it. Overall, I think the place is good for a 2-4 day stay if you spend almost all of the time outside
