We had a great stay! The neighbors were super friendly and the seclusion was perfect. There was two instances were there was a juvenile copperhead crossing over the walkway leading to the dock, it slid off into the thicket offside of the dock but we never had any other issues or problems! Great place and great hosts.

This was the second time that my husband and I have stayed at Lantana Cottage! We loved our time there! I love sitting out on the dock every morning to drink my coffee. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and it was very exciting to see the dolphins swimming! Rachael was a wonderful host! The cottage was very clean and was stocked with everything you need! Hope to stay again someday!

Our 2nd time staying at the cottage and we loved it just like the first time!I do wish the sea wall(little sandy area) was cleaned up & rebuilt a bit, but other than that we had a great time in a great, homey little place

We loved our stay at Lantana Cottage! The house was clean and well furnished! The dock fishing was our favorite, as well as the sunrise and sunsets! We caught sail cats, stingrays, croakers, reds, and even a small shark!

We really enjoyed our stay on this quiet street over July 4th weekend for America's 250th birthday. We woke up every morning and sat out on the screened porch overlooking Bon Secour Bay, Then we were often in the same spot to watch the sunset. The neighbhood reminds me of the old Gulf Coast of my childhood--very laid back and restful with lots of good fellowship and fishing. We also loved being able to have our dogs with us!

We absolutely loved our visit to the cottage! Our chihuahua did as well. Rachel is an excellent host and we would love to come back and stay a bit longer!

Amazing Stay

Although property was dated, it was very clean and everything was perfect for our stay. Pier was great and so was fishing. Screened patio was a plus for us. Will stay again.

Everything was in great shape. The cottage and location themselves were perfect for us.Enjoyed fishing off the pier and waking up to sounds of the incoming tide.Quiet with an out in the country feel. Hope to visit again.

Lovely views and peaceful!We had a very peaceful get away from the busyness of life. Cool breezes, beautiful views, very quiet and comfortable. We sure hope to come again. Rachel was great to work with.

Property wasn’t the best or worst we’ve stayed at, pretty middle of the road. It was a good place to be away from the busy-ness of Gulf Shores and the pier was nice to watch the water from. We were disappointed that the only eating utensils were 3 plastic forks, one had a broken tong.

We absolutely loved it. Everything about this place was incredible. Saw all kinds of wildlife daily. Very clean, amazing views, lots of room, the back porch was 10/10. Honestly there is nothing we would change about this place and hope to stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

Second time to book Lantana Cottage. Very comfortable, relaxing and laid back but still close to activities. Enjoyed watching shrimp boats from screened porch and fishing from the pier. Cottage is well equipped.

So peaceful, clean, comfortable cottage. Views were amazing! Great friend getaway and I am sure families would love it. The screened in porch was so nice! Rachel our host was available as needed, though we did not need a thing. Walking the dog was great, nice quiet road and we met awesome neighbors as well. We will be back!

Relaxing

I gave Lantana Cottage a 5 star rating because it is exactly as seen in the pictures and better. Easy to check in, beautiful views and a very beachy feeling with all the beautiful decoration through out the house. My wife and I would not hesitate to stay at Lantana Cottage again.

Getaway

We went there to just to relax for a few days after some cancer treatment. It rained every day :-) but we were able just to take it easy be back this was our second trip.

Third time staying and it felt like home

This was our third time staying at Lantana Cottage, and it feels like coming home. The bay is so beautiful, and the property is very peaceful. The air conditioner went out on our second day there, but Rachel was so attentive and got us taken care of by the next morning. Very responsive! We will definitely return!

Great Views

We loved loved this little cottage! Great lot and views! Back screened porch is much larger than pic shows, plenty seating on porch. Note: There IS a second working half bath in detached garage with washer n dryer not mentioned in listing.
