First off, the property was very small, but it did work for what we needed. The photos in the listing make the house look larger than it actually is. I would say six people could stay here, but it would be a little cramped.Second, the house is outdated and could definitely use a good deep cleaning, along with some general maintenance and updates, as you can see in some of my photos. The dock was nice to have, especially since we came to fish, but it is very small and pretty basic. There is no power, no lighting, and only one weak rod holder. If you are planning to spend a lot of time fishing from the dock, it may feel a little underwhelming compared to some of the surrounding properties. The house itself also felt somewhat weak and unsteady in a few areas. There were some soft spots in the floor near the back door leading onto the deck, and the steps leading up from the dock to the deck also felt weak. With all of that said, we still had a great time during our stay. The host was excellent to communicate with—very friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive. Even before our trip, they answered our questions very quickly.Overall, I feel like you get what you pay for here. We were happy with the price of the house, and I would consider it a budget-friendly stay. With a few updates, repairs, and a good deep cleaning, I think this property could be a worthwhile place to stay. However, if no repairs or general maintenance have been done, I probably would not stay here again
