A beautiful view

The location of this property was perfect. The view from the balcony can't be beat. The condo was just outside the elevator which made it nice for Access in the off season. The place was very clean and well stocked. Due to the tropical storm, we were in constant communication with the property management company. They were very helpful. The property can use some updates; the queen bed was very uncomfortable and the carpet is very stained. But overall, it was a very nice location and nice stay.

Terrible customer service and response time from Vacasa (property manager)

Terrible customer service and response time from Vacasa. Air conditioner and WiFi were not working the moment we checked in so we called immediately. Over the course of 7 hours we called Vacasa 4 times and were told someone would get back to us within the hour but never did. We then called VRBO but they got the same response from Vacasa when they tried escalating to them. We pleaded with Vacasa for them to contact another A/C repair company outside their own staff but they refused. Our first night was extremely hot, sleepless, and headache-filled, as it was mid-Jully. Someone finally showed up for the A/C around noon the following day -- 20 hours after we checked in. The repair took 8 minutes and the cause was a "burned out wire" in the A/C unit. Regarding the WiFi, someone finally showed up on day 3, performed a series of diagnostics and confirmed something was wrong. He then tried to contact the condo owner for assistance and ended up leaving them a voice mail. It was never fixed, so no WiFi in our 4 day stay. I had to use my phone's hot spot to log into work. To add insult to injury, Vacasa gave us an insulting $200 compensation for this 3-night $1600 stay. We'll never rent a Vacasa-managed property ever again.

The room was great for our large family so we could all be together. The price was fair. The room was clean, but the master sheets were not washed there was hair on the sheets when we arrived. Spent the first night washing all the sheets. Other than that, the rental was great. Nice location, boardwalk had handicap access which meant a mat on the walkway down to the beach which helped eliminate a lot of sand. Which helped since there was no outside shower. Great view! Windows could use a good cleaning, they were very dirty and hard to see out of. Was great foul for the later check out time. Lots of games in the unit, beach chairs, and boogie boards for the kids came in handy. The full kitchen is great to save money on meals when you have a big family. Overall very satisfied!

The view is nice but partly blocked by dune. The condo is very old, carpets are very dirty with a lot of stains. I had to wipe down all kitchen cabinets due to a sticky substance in tgem. The silverware drawer I took out completely to wash due to dirt and crumbs throughout. Our checkin time was 4:00 and went at 4 to find cleaning crew still cleaning and didn’t finish till 4:20. The only nice part was checking snd checkout where it’s all electronic and no need to get keys. I have been coming to Ocean City for over 30 years snd this condo cones in at the bottom. Very disappointed with huge price hike and the value.

Quick stay

Great location! Awesome view! Unfortunately, the place had not been cleaned. Dirty linens left by washer from previous guests. Carpet had some stains. The screen was broken and no screens in master bedroom. However, easy walk to beach and stores.

Beautiful view

The location and view from this condo can’t be beat. The decor is very dated, mirrored wall, but I did expect that. What I did not expect was how dirty the condo was. Carpet is filthy. Molding around doors dirty, cabinet doors very dirty. No sheets on the king size bed. I contacted Vacasa. Someone eventually brought sheets. I asked her to please come in and look at the condition of the condo. She offered to have the carpets steam cleaned the next day, but at that Point I didn’t want to have wet carpets and three little ones running around. I cleaned the molding around the bathroom doors, wiped up the floors, and wiped down the kitchen cabinets myself. Vacasa offered their apologies and and refunded my cleaning fee. They also left a gift card. I’m glad someone looked at It while I was there and could see first hand. My hope is that the next family will have a clean condo because everything Else is ok and Vacasa was responsive.

Wonderful location and view - comfortable stay

We had a very nice October stay in this oceanfront condo. It was equipped with everything we needed including paper goods, laundry and dish detergent, trash bags, etc. The entry lock was super easy to work and the elevator was a huge bonus with a toddler and lots of luggage. The living area was comfortable and clean though first impression wasn't great due to stained carpeting. From the deck, we had fun watching the foxes that live in the dunes. With supervision, the deck railings and height felt very safe and secure for my 3-year old granddaughter. The master bedroom is gorgeous and has an amazing ocean view and the king bed was comfortable. .My daughter that the queen bed felt like a boxspring rather than a mattress though. I called Vacasa at the end of the stay to request another night and they were responsive to my call, but didn't contact the owner to convey the request due to the dates being blocked out for the next 5 months, which was understandable. I would certainly stay at this comfortable, well-located condo again and thank you to our hosts. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it could use some updating.

Another great stay!

Even though the weather was not great, we had a really nice time time staying here. This was our 2nd stay here and we have already booked it for a 3rd. We love the direct ocean view, the location and the cozy feel. Can't wait to come back again!

We wanted to add a few days prior to our vacation

Our family gets together for a week in the area every year and a couple of us wanted to come early to extend our vacation. The condo is in a great location. Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed coffee every morning on the balcony to watch the sun rise. We were offered a late check out which was a real bonus. Would definitely consider staying here again. Had a great time.

Great get away

Very comfortable stay. Great view of the ocean and balcony. Thought there was an out door shower advertised, but was only a hose to rinse with. Gave 4 out of 5 as bathrooms could be a bit cleaner around tub, toilet. I would still stay there again. Wish I had booked for longer.

Great, spacious oceanfront condo.

We love coming here every year with our family. This is a spacious condo and very comfortable. It is convenient (within walking distance) to Northside Park to catch beautiful sunsets and take a stroll through the park. There's a grocery store, Dollar Tree, liquor store, Higgin Crab house and many other stores/restaurants right across the street. The beach is not crowded at all and very clean.

Management company, Vacasa, ruined stay

The main issue with this property was the management company, Vacasa. They failed to provide linens on our check-in day, and on the phone kept stringing us along that they would be delivered shortly. In the end our family slept on beach towels that first night; with more accurate info, earlier, we could have purchased linens or found a hotel room. Additionally, the unit was dirty, with food residue and broken sharp objects that I stepped on in one bedroom, and foul-smelling quilts (which they promised to collect, but never did) in this and another bedroom. Compounding issues was that all calls were routed through the Vacasa national call center in Oregon, sometimes with hour-long hold times. Only after we serendipitously found the local management number did we get a call from the property manager, and on the second afternoon we finally got linens and was the unit cleaned. We eventually were refunded the cleaning fee, but never received consideration for the delay in receiving linens. Additionally, the unit itself has a few minor issues: 1) Was in poor repair, with a heavily-stained carpet, a broken towel rod in one bathroom, and a bent, easily-derailed screen door to the balcony. 2) The kitchen was not as well-stocked with tools and spices as the typical VRBO. 3) The "beach shower" was just a garden hose on the ground, with a special key for the spigot that Vacasa would have charged $250 to replace if lost at the beach. There were a few good points: 1) Great location and ocean view as advertised. Master bedroom was genuinely nice. 2) Mattresses were better than the typical VRBO. 3) Well-stocked with beach toys, chairs, etc. In conclusion, we will not be staying at another Vacasa property if we can help it. They stack their booking and management fees on top of the VRBO service charge, and these appear to incur additional taxes. In the end, it is not cheaper than competing properties, but with unacceptable quality of service.

Very enjoyable stay

We were down here for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The view was incredible to wake up to every morning and the condo was very clean. We cannot wait to visit again.
