We enjoyed our annual lake week at this lovely home! The lake is very clean for swimming and wading on our floaties, while the others were out catching fish! We rented kayaks and paddle board to complete our stay at the lake! Thank you for a memorable time!

This is a beautiful home in the north woods. Perfectly suited for 6 adults, but there was room for more. We brought firewood and enjoyed the fire pit. We checked out the gas grill, but decided at the last mini to make nachos instead, We were in the area for the Wine & Cheese train ride which was delightful. Definitely recommend it.

We have stayed at this property twice now, and both times have been great! The host gets back to us quickly with answers. There are plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, everything you need in the laundry room, etc. It is a great cabin/house, plenty of room! You will love it here!

Our group enjoyed the Potato Lake house for our Girls Only Weekend Away. The house is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake with plenty of space for everybody to spread out inside and outside. There were plenty of plates, bowls, and utensils. The driveway has ample parking for 7 vehicles. The large kitchen table worked great for group card games. There was plenty of space in the kitchen fridge and the freezer so we didn't need to use the downstairs fridge, but it was nice to know it was available. The only feedback that we have is it would be nice to have an empty kitchen cabinet or two to put our snacks and food. Having everything out on the counter took up a lot of space and made it feel cluttered, but we made it work. Accessibility notes: There are 4 or 5 stairs up into the porch, but once you're in the house there are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. You can reach the fire pit and backyard seating from the front yard and the ground is a little slanty, but you don't need to go up or down stairs to get back there.

Wonderful stay

For the second year in the row, this was a clean, homey place to spend a week with extended family on the water. The dock is on the small side but provided just enough room for our boat.

Relaxing Get Away

Our winter get away was enjoyed by all at the Potato Lake House. Great gathering room with gas fireplace and large enough for those who wanted to be alone. We are excited to return.

Lovely Stay at the Lake

The home was lovely, well stocked, and comfortable. The basket with smores ingredients inspired us to get firewood and have a little fire in the backyard one cool Nov evening. Communication with the host was good!

Perfect view

Need to get away from everyday life? This is the place. Great views with all of the modern conveniences. Beds were very comfortable and house was clean. Bring good food and friends and you have everything you need for a perfect get away.

Beautiful cabin.

We really enjoyed the beautiful cabin! Lots of space for our family of 8. The yard and fire pit were a great surprise. We did know going in that there wouldn’t be a beach area, but we were surprised by the difficulty getting on and off the dock for swimming, we wished there had been a ladder. Great and easy booking as well as great and helpful communication throughout.

Perfect fall getaway

The gorgeous log home was a perfect getaway for us 7 sisters! We had ample seating to gather around the main floor table to eat and the basement table to play games. Nicely decorated with upscale appliances and a bathroom on each level. If the weather had cooperated, we would have loved to have lounged on the cabin-long deck or screened porch. Perfect place enjoy quiet and beauty. Thanks!

Beautiful Property and Amazing Hosts.

Rented with another family for a long fall weekend getaway. Communication with the host was great, the property was perfect with lots of space and a well appointed kitchen. We loved the great room for gathering in the mornings and evenings, the lower lever for sending the kids to play and watch TV and the firepit for nightly smores. The bedrooms were all great sizes and spread out throughout the house to give everyone their space Lovely quiet lake with lots of good hiking nearby. We made short day drives to both Spooner and Hayward for lunch as well. Would definitely recommend and will likely ve back next year!

50 year college girlfriend getaway❤️

Very nice cabin in perfect area between Spooner, Stone Lake, and Hayward. The cabin s big enough to sleep 10(11?). We spent much of our time around the kitchen bar area because it was the perfect place to gather😊. Great deck too! A couple suggestions to improve the experience……all the beds and bedding need an upgrade. The oven worked the first night, but not the second. That was a disappointment. Sometimes these newer touchpad appliances are just not as reliable.

Beautiful property; Needs a few outdoor investments

We once again enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean and welcoming home.. After 3 years with you we do see a few investments that we’d like to see in the property to be able to keep bringing our family here. The bottom 4 stairs to the pier still don’t have a railing! This made it very difficult for little ones and we had someone recovering from a surgery who should have had a railing. This is a safety issue. In addition, In a house that sleeps 10 comfortably, you only have outdoor deck/screen porch seating for 4! Adirondack chairs and a dining table on the deck would be expected. We brought our own card table and a ton of camp chairs…but other homes include this.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and enough bathrooms. The two living/family rooms gave the kids another place to hang out. Love the screened-in porch.

Great winter getaway

My extended family and I stayed in the Potato Lake house for a long weekend and had a great time. The location is perfect, the home is roomy enough for a large family, and my kids enjoyed all of the games and space to play. It was incredibly easy to check in and out and communication with CJ was excellent. The home was warm, clean, and inviting. My only recommendations would be mattress toppers, better pillows, and new pans. The pans had a lot of wear but all other appliances and utensils were good!
