Summer vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location and the pool was great. It could use a top to bottom cleaning inside. Shower stall was small, barely enough room to turn. Master bedroom fitted sheet was too big or something, dry loose and bunched, uncomfortable for sleep. Did not have small conveniences like coffe filters, soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, and no extra trash bags (needed extra for 8 day stay.

Thank you for your feedback- we’re glad you found the home spacious and appreciated the kitchen and communication, but we’re sorry to hear certain aspects of your stay fell short. We do provide a pre-arrival list of what is stocked in the home, and as you noted, items can vary based on stay length. That said, we understand how the fitted sheet, shower space, and expectations around convenience items may have impacted your comfort, and we’ll review these points with our team to see where improvements can be made. We appreciate you staying with us and sharing this- it helps us refine the guest experience.

Finally out of quarantine & the perfect first place to go! We love the beach! This house was PERFECT & having a private pool was absolutely the best thing ever! Such easy reservations online & loved the key code pad! Will definitely stay here again! Awesome

The house was awesome! Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for the kids. We only had a few request. Please provide paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, and umbrellas at the pool. July is too hot to not have an umbrella. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Beautiful house in a great location

The house was in excellent condition and very clean. The pool was a very welcome addition. The location is great- beach access is very easy once you have the lay of the land. Our only issue, which has nothing to do with the owners, is that we visited over spring break and the rental property next door happened to house a group of loud spring-breakers partying until 1am each night which sometimes made getting my kids to sleep an issue. Again, not an issue with the property owners, but something to be aware of during the Spring Break period. I'd love to come again outside of spring break.

Great location with lots of dust

The house is in a great location, on a quiet street and within walking of the beach. The house itself could use some TLC. It was very dusty, the floors were not clean and dishes were put away dirty. Several plates and cups were chipped. The house does not come with extra supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, hand soap, etc.

Sufficient and good location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place meets the needs if you're just looking for a place to put your head down. Location is one block off the beach and you have a privet pool which is nice. The house itself is lacking. Furnishings are outdated and uncomfortable. Even the cushions on the deck have nothing left in them, but the beds were sufficient. Ceiling fans and vents have a lot of dust on them so room for improvement but overall it was "clean". Happy to have in unit washer and dryer. Quick response when dishwasher was leaking.

Review

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. I feel that the cleaning company needs to be more thorough. We had multiple fake eyelashes laying around the house including on the pillow in one of the twin beds. There was also sand on the sleeper sofa when we pulled it out and it was enough that we took the cover off and took it outside to shake it all out. The pool was very nice but would have been nicer if the light in it worked so we could have been able to see better after dark when swimming.

Winter Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Beach Time for an impromptu vacation over the winter holiday - we may have been the first visitors since the hurricanes came through this fall. The property is in a perfect location for a quick walk to the beach - location, location, location! Don't plan to swim in the pool outside during the winter - it is not heated and was very cold (and had accumulated a lot of dirt in the bottom). Also, if you plan to cook yourself, this may not be the best home - we realized by Night 2 that the kitchen lacked a knife that could actually cut and many needed items (i.e. cookie sheet or any type of tray) for putting together a meal. Also, plan to go to the store to pick up toilet paper (only one roll per bathroom provided), paper towels (none provided), dish soap (none provided), dishwasher detergent (enough for two loads of detergent provided) etc. We reached out to property manager upon arrival to note some issues. Most were resolved the next day, although the missing power cord for the TV was not provided, so a TV was unusable. We enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores greatly, and this was a great location for us since we spent time every day at the beach.

Thank you, Robin, for taking the time to tell us about your stay at Beach Time. I apologize for the missing items. Housekeeping will be doing an inventory of this property and we will make a list of the items that need to be replaced. Thank you for letting us know. I am glad you were able to enjoy some beach time! After the year we have had, I am sure it was a much needed break! Give us a call and get your next beach trip booked!

This property was exactly as described. We enjoyed the pet friendly location. This was a short walk (400m/.25mile) to a public beach access point as well as a public kayak launch on the lagoon. We enjoyed that the property was far enough away from the main crowds yet still close enough to enjoy the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to small families traveling with pets. Thank you for the wonderful experience in Gulf Shores!
