We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Barnstable! The host was incredibly attentive and accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Cape, with easy day trips to Provincetown and Martha’s Vineyard. We also loved being within walking distance of a quiet beach where we enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. We would definitely return for another stay!

Perfect cottage!

Everything about Jeff and Maryrita’s cottage was perfect! The cottage was in wonderful condition, the beach access was amazing, and the location was ideal to experience Cape Cod. Highly recommend staying in their property!

We had a comfortable and serene visit. Check in easy. The cottage is well appointed with everything one needs to cook and dine outside. Walks to Audubon's Long Meadow wildlife sanctuary were pleasant diversion, along with beach walks.

Absolutely adorable cottage, unbeatable location. Rental was extremely clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Fire pit was a plus, and the outdoor shower was fabulous !!

Cozy, private, well-appointed

Comfortable beachside cottage that was well appointed in a beautiful surrounding. Had everything we needed, and heated/was quite comfortable in cooler fall nights. Jeff was so attentive to ensuring we had what we needed.

Secret treasure

This place was amazing! So clean, so close to the water. Just driving into the property felt like we found a private place that nobody else knows about. Barnstable has always been a special place to me but this properly and cottage were especially beautiful!

Hidden Gem

We had a fabulous week at Jeff and Maryrita’s charming and pristine cottage, just steps from a tranquil private beach. They have overlooked no detail in making the cottage a comfortable and relaxing retreat. A well-appointed kitchen, super comfy bed and multiple outdoor seating areas are only a few of the many amenities. We were made to feel so welcome, and enjoyed the lovely Chardonnay they so thoughtfully left for us! It was a perfect, peaceful escape, and we hope to return.

Cape Bay beach get away

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The owner paid a lot of attention to details , and we had everything we needed. The outdoor space was beautiful. A great place to hang out, watch the sunsets and enjoy the gas fire pit. Private beach was 100 yards away :)

This is the perfect cottage get-away. Three minutes to the beach. Every aspect of this cottage deserves a 5-star rating. Completely modernized snd exceptionally clean. Quiet setting. Jeff met us at the cottage and walked us through the cottage and its features. Adjacent to an amazing Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. Easy access off of 6A. We highly recommend this cottage. A great experience for my wife and I. Would definitely return.

Wonderful little cottage

Jeff and Maryrita were very kind to us, this is quite a nice cottage on a private beach, way off the beaten path. Anne has been coming to the Cape for years and never knew much about the area of the cottage. Everything nice and clean, neat and organized, and nice personal touches all around. A very enjoyable stay, and looking forward to returning.

Outstanding

Wonderful, charming cottage. Ideal location close to the sound and centrally located. Lovely area to take walks. The cottage is cozy, including everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated and landscaped. The owner met us upon arrival showed us around, answered any questions and left us with some welcoming treats. We will definitely return to this accommodation.

Lovely cottage!

The property is so well done- perfect for the two of us for a long weekend. The owner met us and gave us a great walkthrough to point out what we needed to know and offered recommendations for area restaurants and things to do. The cottage had everything we needed with added welcoming touches from the owners. Being able to walk a short distance and be on the beach was one of our favorite parts. It is also 1/2 a mile from Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary which is very nice for walking trails. We enjoyed that the property was remote enough for a quiet stay but a short distance to whatever we needed. Thanks for sharing!

A True Hidden Gem in Cape CodThis beautiful cottage in Barnstable is truly one of Cape Cod’s hidden gems. It was absolutely perfect for our little family, and we made so many wonderful memories during our stay.The owners are a complete class act and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail. They even added a swing to the tree outside for our four-year-old son, which brought him so much joy and made the cottage feel even more special for our family.They truly think of everything you could possibly need to enjoy Cape Cod without the stress of packing or purchasing extra supplies. Beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler bag, and so many other thoughtful amenities were provided. It made heading out for a beach day incredibly easy and allowed us to focus on relaxing and spending time together.The cottage itself was charming, comfortable, and clearly cared for with so much love. It felt peaceful, welcoming, and like a true home away from home. This was so much more than simply a place to stay—it became such a meaningful part of our family vacation.We cannot say enough wonderful things about the property or its owners. Their hospitality is top-notch, and they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience for their guests. We feel so lucky to have found this special place and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Cod. We would absolutely love to return!

So fun (plus amazing decorating and landscaping)

The property is perfect. The quality and attention to detail of the interior decorating is exceptional. Jeff and Maryrita are gracious and attentive hosts. The view is great and the beach is so close. We were able to enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding because it was so easy to get everything to the beach. The little neighborhood is so charming. It is a quintessential cape cod setting. The proximity to Barnstable and Hyannis are also a plus as well as the nearby walking trails. It makes for a lot of variety of things to do while still staying right by the beach. We didn't want to leave after our two weeks.

Home away from Home

This truly was a home away from home. The pictures on VRBO are true to nature and the place is just as stunning in person. There was everything that you could need as if it was your own home. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of cookware and utensils. Both the front and back deck had beautiful views of the Ocean and loved listening to the hummingbirds buzz around the landscaping and seeing the little bunny rabbits hop around. The beach is within walking distance and the waters were calm and refreshing for a nice dip to cool off. The hosts were amazing and really put a lot of thought into the cottage. Looking forward to staying there on an annual basis. 10 stars!

Better than Home

Wow! Where to begin! The cottage is adorable - perfectly decorated, meticulously cleaned, secluded yet close to everything you could possibly ever want to do. Jeff was helpful and available and suggested several great things to try (which we did and were so glad we took his suggestions!). They have so many personal touches added to make your stay even more comfortable, and we just loved the thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge - this is your place. The pictures are definitely accurate, but it’s actually even better in person. Quaint, peaceful, quiet. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect Cape Cod getaway

We are so glad we found this charming Cape Cod cottage. With its high ceilings and perfectly sized decor, it lives like a much bigger place. It's a great mix of modern style and old Cape Cod charm, and everywhere you turn, there's something to delight the eye. The cottage was immaculate, and everything about it is designed with the guests in mind. The kitchen is fully stocked, and Jeff and Maryrita, the perfect hosts, have thought of everything. Jeff met us at the cottage to show us around and answer all our questions. Communicating with Jeff was a pleasure, and he checked in with us the next day to make sure we had everything we needed. The views from the cottage are amazing, the beach is just steps away, and the quiet neighborhood is great for walking or biking. This place is truly a gem! Pam & Bob Canton, MA

Perfect Spot

Incredible little gem. Far enough away from the noise to relax and see the starts but close enough to grab a coffee in town. Perfectly sized for 2 (+ maybe a small 3rd) and really comfortable. Jeff is a super nice guy and full of local info. We'll definitely be back!

Love Love Love this Cottage!

This is a must stay! The owners spared no expense to make this cottage a true Cape Cod experience. We will definitely come back. Wonderful getaway

My spouse and I went with our toddler and had a wonderful time. It's a few minutes' walk to the beach, which is nothing at all. The house is so adorable and perfectly arranged. There was tons to do in walking distance including the beach and Audubon sanctuary, and also lots of restaurants and other beaches within a short drive. Would love to go back.

Cozy, clean cottage

The property was perfect for a couple. It was small but cozy. It was tastefully decorated and they used the small space well. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only negative thing was the couch was very uncomfortable. However the owner pointed that out right away and indicated he would be replacing it. It’s a great location.
