The cabin is private yet conveniently located to all the amenities needed for a wonderful vacation. Stackrock Cabin sits on a peaceful 10 acres. Ample parking on-site is suitable for all kinds of vehicles. SUV or like vehicle recommend.

Enjoy your vacation in the heart of Apple Country in Ellijay, GA.

Please note, this is a cabin in a rural area. With this country cabin comes local specialities; expect delayed services, gravel roads throughout the town, occasional power outages, occasional squirrels in the attic, downed trees ... Rest assured that the Owners and Hosts are experienced professionals and will do their best to get you fixed up as soon as possible.

Great stay one wish

Loved the setting and the home. Thanks for sharing. My only wish would have been for a broom or dust mop to allow us to be sure to leave the property as we found it. I would have also liked to have dishwashing liquid to hand wash dishes

Quiet peace

My favorite thing about this property was the seclusion. While sitting around the fire pit, the lack of light pollution brought out a million stars. The wildlife is abundant and exhilarating to see. The cabin was clean and just lovely. Being pet friendly, my dog had lots of room to run, untethered, without fear of nearby thoroughfares. We will stay here again.

Peaceful getaway!

This was a great weekend getaway. We loved the property & the kids got to see deer right outside the windows. The play set (especially the swing) was a favorite. We love Ellijay, but we didn’t even leave the property because it was just so peaceful there. The host was wonderful. The cabin is an old home place, which was a delightful surprise. Most cabins we stay in are built just for vacation homes, but this one felt special. We plan to return!
