Beautiful home! Lots of fun for a large group with incredible indoor and outdoor living spaces. Just a walk to the town and water. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved the house and was perfect for the group of us that came into town for a wedding at the Delmar. The house I much bigger and nicer then even the pictures show! Great old charm with some very nice upgrades. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside due to storms, but the outdoor area is fantastic. We appreciate the great communication and hope to be back again soon.

Location was fabulous! Playground is right across the street and the house is super close to the downtown with restaurants and shops all within walking distance! We can’t wait to go back! Special thanks to our hosts for all the special “extras”!

This was such a special place to spend a long weekend with family and friends. The house has so much history and character and is stocked with everything you need. The grounds are lovely and outdoor patio is perfect for outdoor dining. The hosts were friendly and available from the time we booked to the time we checked out. We highly recommend this property!

This house is stunning - pictures do not do it justice! The back patio is expansive, with multiple tables and market umbrellas - the perfect spot for our party of 13 to congregate. We loved how it was just a short walk to restaurants and bars, and the water just a short distance away. Kitchen was amazing and well stocked - beach chairs provided - fire pit - it had everything we needed. Resident seagulls stole our unattended food so beware!

We arrived with a group of 10 adults to a beautiful historic home with seven bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, some en suite. There are multiple areas to sit and lounge. Large dining room table. Beautiful grounds with a large outdoor seating area as well as two porches. The home is beautifully decorated, and we found the beds very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. Within walking distance to the water and many shops and restaurants and scenic points in this lovely town. A short drive away you can take one of the river cruises or visit the Mystic aquarium and the old Mystic shops right next-door. We had a lot of fun exploring all the unique features amd layout in this 1808 home. If you enjoy historic buildings, you will feel right at home here. We use Vrbo rentals several times a year, and I can’t think of any negatives with this property!

Charm and perfect location

the house was amazing, such charm, perfect for the chill bachelorette weekend we had. Great location and close to the wineries. The hosts were great to work with, very responsive and even left us home made cookies and wine!

Amazing House

The location meant there were many sites to see within walking distance or a short drive. The home was comfortable and beautiful. The hosts were extremely responsive to messages whenever we had any questions.

Family Birthday

We had a great time staying at the Charles Mallory house. Our whole family of 10 from 3-70 really enjoyed everything the house and area had to offer. The owners were above excellent and ready with lots of local information, history, and info about their beautifully restored and loved home.

Family Wedding Weekend

The house and location were perfect. All the amenities for a wonderful stay, within walking distance of downtown and a short drive to the wedding venue (Inn at Mystic). A great home for the extended family to gather, would highly recommend while staying in Mystic.
