This home is exceptionally well maintained along with a stocked kitchen that also had nice cookware (which is not common). It is evident that the owners take pride in this home. The hostess, Kristen, was gracious and quick with replies. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the beauty of the lake as well as the game room which kept us entertained for hours - a great variety. We also loved sight seeing at Grandfather mountain which was a nice ride on our motorcycles. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Thanks for allowing us to stay. We had a girls weekend and loved the place. The only thing that was negative was the smell of egg coming from the water so when we wanted clean dishes or ourselves (shower) hands (bathroom sink) it was disgusting sulfur smell.

Everything was great, we really enjoyed it, and the kids loved it. The only thing is that they ask a lot of you—things like cleaning, vacuuming, washing all the dishes, putting all the bed linen in the washing machine, and adding the chemicals to the hot tub after using it. On the last day, we felt a bit like the cleaning staff rather than guests on vacation.

Picture perfect home for all ages. All needs were predicted and fulfilled from playpens and blocks to a whole basement filled with games for children and adults. This house could not have been more perfect for our extended family to come together for Thanksgiving. We did not leave except for groceries and 4 days was not enough time to enjoy all the house offered.

Lookout Lake

Kristen was great. We spent 10 days enjoying every minute. The basement was amazing. Pool table, air hockey, poker table, gaming area, and 2nd area to relax and watch movies. Long weekend trip

Photos do not do this house justice! Gorgeous views. House was very clean! We had rainy, cold weather during our stay which was a bummer because it limited the outdoor activities we could do, but we still had a blast because this house has PLENTY to keep you entertained! Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Everything You Could Want

We stayed here when my Raleigh-based tennis team made the state tournament and it was exactly what we were looking for: generous and well-appointed accommodations, lots of spots to hang out and socialize, beautiful views, water recreation, etc. We really couldn't have asked for more. As soon as we checked in, I was being congratulated by my friends for finding it. You won't be disappointed.
