The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and views of the ocean. You can't beat the short walk to the beach. We had a great time!

After Christmas get away

We enjoyed our much needed time at the beach to decompress and regroup. We walled the beach many times, rode bikes and star gazed from the beach. We enjoyed all the restaurants we visited.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Like that pets were allowed but not on furniture. Vaulted ceiling let in lots of light but not harsh . I’m sure it is difficult to keep th downstairs carport clean with a sand road- we fid have to clean it before use, but it was great to have both cars in the shade in bright days and a place to play if it rained . Lots of games and acyivities but we had so much fun at the beach we rarely played. Will definitely rent again!

Clean and tidy, vaulted ceilings full of natural light, games for rainy days, and of course that beach right across the street - it sounds like a wonderful week. You are absolutely right that a sand road carport is a constant challenge to keep clean, and we appreciate your understanding on that. It is one of those charming Edisto quirks that comes with the territory, and we are glad having covered parking in both sun and rain still made it a worthwhile amenity! Quiet-close-peaceful

It was such a quiet neighborhood. It was only steps to the beach. We could hear the waves from the house which brought me much joy. We walked the beach tons. We found many kinds of shells. We went to the marina as we had chartered a fishing day. We had the most fabulous dolphin display! We commend the founders of Edisto for their great planning of the structure. There are beach accesses every block which helps spread people out, though the few people we did encounter were very friendly. It was a quick weekend, but full of great memories.
