This vacation rental boasts an efficient kitchen, a dining table for cozy meals or nightly board games, and a living area warmed by a gas fireplace. Just beyond the sliding glass doors, find a private, covered balcony where you can take in views of the peaks while sipping your complimentary coffee or tea.

After an exciting day on the slopes or Whistler's gorgeous hiking trails, come home to Marketplace Lodge to soothe your muscles in the communal hot tub. For your ease and convenience, the grounds include underground parking and coin-operated laundry facilities as well.

The location is ideal, steps away from Olympic Plaza's summer concerts and winter outdoor skating. You'll also be able to walk to the grocery store, great restaurants, nearby coffee shops, locally owned businesses, and - of course - the lifts and gondolas (half a mile, also accessible via free shuttle). During warmer months, play a round or two at the Whistler Golf Club, head out on miles of scenic hiking trails, or spend a thrilling day at Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

Check in a couple blocks away was a bit hard to find. Great area and close to stores and village. Easy shuttle to lifts. A little loud at night due to parking lot acoustics. Closest elevator out of service so took some work to load/unload lugging equipment up 3 flights or from other elevator across lot. Room had all the basics and clean but was pretty beat up and dated. Comfy bed in very small bedroom. If you are skiing mostly and need crash pad with relatively affordable accomodations and free parking, this is a good bet. If you are trying to impress someone, look elsewhere.

Affordable condo in the Village

Great location, nice view, very clean and space very well used for a one bedroom condo. Right in the North Village, close walk to everything. Covered, secure parking is a plus. Great value!

Great location and great rooms

I enjoyed how close it was to the market place and how accessible the rooms are from almost anywhere in the market place. The resort is way more quiet than the resorts closer to the lifts, furthermore, they seem to maintain the property a lot more. My only complain was that some of the items in the room were an outdated and some items were either broken or not functioning the way they should.

Ridden hard and put away wet

Overall we had a great time but if you plan to spend alot of time in the suite it might not be what you are looking for. We would likely stay again. Pro's: Affordable accomadations Great location in the village Comfy bed and pillows Kitchen well stocked Cleaned as well as it can be. Cons: No AC in summer (afternoon sun, 3rd floor location) The building is older, the suite has seen alot of action and is pretty beat up and dated.

Tons of good, just a little bad

First off, this place does have air conditioning. I saw a lot of reviews that said it didn’t but was happily surprised to see a portable air conditioner in the bedroom. However it wouldn’t cool the entire apartment so any guests sleeping in the living room would be out of luck. The place was very very clean and decently furnished. That ratty wicker chair that is on the pics was nowhere to be seen. They need to change those photos. The bed is very comfortable and there was no skimping on the pillows, like some other rentals I’ve stayed at. Very much appreciated. The drawers in the chest of drawers did not have any tracks so they would fall to the floor without holding them up with which was annoying. Speaking of tracks, the ironing board mechanism opened above their metal tracks so it wouldn’t close again. Not the fault of the host as they didn’t make the ironing board, but it will be interesting to see if I am charged for this or not. Lots of towels and kitchen linen. Enough kitchen implements to cook basic meals but nothing gourmet. One less than basic pots and pan but 6 each of plates and eating utensils. Kettle, coffee maker, microwave and I think I saw a toaster above the fridge. There was one security issue I noticed on my first night. The doors leading into the halls from the outer stairwell, accessible to anyone without a key, were not closed properly. The automaker door closer mechanism was not strong enough to completely close and lock the door leaving the entire building open to the public. I did mention this to the front desk the next day but I did see the latches still open later that evening. This was ‘stairwell 3’, which is the easiest way to access the unit. I propped the chair and ironing board to block the door and any attempts to jimmy the locks from the hallway. I’m sure we’ve all seen that video on how easy it is to break into hotel rooms with some basic wire tools. I have another reservation later this month at another property with this same ‘hotel’ group with a friend so I will be interested to see how the security is in that building. I did feel safe however after I macgyvered my anti-lock-picking apparatus. Overall I would definitely stay here again and again. The location CANNOT be beat and the price was extremely reasonable. Recommended with slight security reservations.

Quieter location than expected and decent view from suite. Good suite layout and value but needs some maintenance to fix the kitchen lighting and worn bathroom plumbing fixtures. Fireplace was also switching on and off while turned on.

This particular suite was absolutely below any reasonable standard one should expect for a final cost after all fees of $330/night. Keys/Fob We were only issued one key/fob! The condo was stifling hot when we walked in and we had many insect bites due to having the windows (without screens) wide open in order to maintain a moderately hot temperature in the place. A fan is inadequate. Appliances need updating. The stove, front right burner does not work. Toaster, had to jiggle the cord to make it work. Fridge, loud rattle/squeal for 6 seconds on cooling cycle. Carpets look dirty with many stains. Bathroom is aged, moldy tap, probably clean, but so worn, it is hard to tell. There is the Hide-a-bed, I had to sleep a night there during a restless night. I could count the springs pressing against my back. Aesthetics, very dated pot lights that are filthy on top. Well worn sofa, table and chairs. Cheap pictures of farm animals? At Whistler? How about alpine pics, skiing, mountain pics…something related to the spirit of the area. If this is a privately owned rental condo I think the owner should stay here a few nights. The site photos do not depict the actual conditions.

Great location and great access to the property rooms. This property is located on the market place and it spreads around it which makes it accessible from various points in the marketplace. This made it so easy to go in and out of your room to go the super market, liquor store, restaurants and parking lot. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the lift which is not too bad (good warm up I guess). My only complain is that the rooms need some upgrading and they need to pay closer attention to the things which are broken/not working in the room before people arrive in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and comfortable place

We enjoyed ski vacation for a week at one bedroom Market Place condo, places are clean and well equipped, close to Gondola. Staff are very kind, respectful and quickly respond any requests. It has secured parking lot and elevator, also Jacuzzi was very helpful after skiing in every day. I definitely recommend.

Great value and amenities

Conveniently located to grocery store, LCBO, chairlift, village and shops. Front desk and maintenance were very quick to respond when needed fireplace started, and they even gave us more Starbucks pike coffee brew. Front desk very friendly, helpful, prompt, welcoming and sincerely cared about our experience. Keep up the great work and keep on smiling! It definitely brightens people’s day/vacation!

Nie wieder, die schlechteste Unterkunft ever!!!

Gut: • Die Lage ist zentral im Ort, kostenloser Tiefgaragenplatz, gutes Internet, sofort warmes Wasser, saubere Handtücher und Bettwäsche.. Schlecht: übertriebene Kommunikation mit Anweisungen für den Check in. Das Zimmer und die Unterkunft sind definitiv alt und total abgewohnt. Die Möbel haben nicht einmal IKEA-Niveau und das Bett ist sehr klein. Wir kamen bei ca 29° Aussentemperatur an und wurden von der Hitze im Appm. beim Türöffnen schier erschlagen!!! Auf der Suche nach AC hatten wir keinen Erfolg weil nicht vorhanden!!! Menschen mit Kreislaufproblemen sehe ich hier gefährdet. Ein alter verdreckter, (Bilder können angefordert werden) Lüfter lief zwar ununterbrochen, konnte aber gegen die stehende Hitze nichts ausrichten. An erholsames Schlafen war in der 1. Nacht nicht zu denken. Das Appm. war zwar gesaugt, aber die alten, fleckigen Teppiche (auch hier gibt es Bilddokumente) könnten eine gute Reinigung, besser noch eine Erneuerung vertragen. Der gesamte Komplex müsste eigentlich erneuert werden. Die Bade- bzw. Duschwanne hat Schmutzränder (Bilder!!!) Vor die Fenster gehört ein guter Sonnenschutz und ein Fliegengitter, damit die Fenster geöffnet werden können und die sich aufbauende Bruthitze bei warmen Wetter im Haus wenigstens etwas reduziert werden kann. Das Preis – Leistungsverhältnis ist nur MISERABEL.

Amazing stay...

When i booked this place I feel we will be taken cared of coz of constant reminder as the days approaching of our dates to stay. Communication wise this is the place, check in at midnight was perfect and check out the same too, there was no hassle. Love the place, cleanliness is great, it has all the things in a home away from home. Love the small kitchen it's very functional for whatever company you bring. I will stay here again if i come back. I highly recommend as the price is also reasonable.

Get what you pay for…

Affordable, but no AC, no screen on windows or patio door to keep open. Bed was confortable but pull out sofa was very poor. Fridge made weird noises all night. Overall if your looking for a budget accommodation it was fine.
