Amazing getaway!

We stayed at this property for a week and it was an absolute delight! It’s quiet, comfortable, and everything we needed for our trip. The hot tub was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you’re looking to stay in Sequim this is the place to go! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful week!

Brad was very friendly and easy to communicate with. There was an ant issue for our entire stay, but Brad attempted to address the issue and went above and beyond to make up for it. I would definitely stay here again once it is exterminated.

Cozy stay

This was exactly what the husband and i were looking for. We wanted a get out of town for the night stay. It was super cozy went to safeway and made steaks for dinner. Property owner was extremely helpful.

Comfortable, quiet, Sequim getaway

We enjoyed a weekend stay at this comfortable, quiet location in Sequim area. Everything we needed for our short visit--living/sitting room, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedroom/bathroom area. Could use a microwave oven and a more intuitive TV setup, but minor inconveniences. Highly recommended.

This setting is ideal for exploring the entire region.

This Dungeness home is located at an ideal jumping-off spot for the Olympic National Park and Peninsula. The setting is quiet and scenic, with many hiking destinations available within a short trip. The rooms are clean and the private patio/hot tub offers a welcome conclusion to a busy day. Brad the owner was responsive and helpful to any concern we brought to his attention. We eagerly recommend this rental.

Nice little getaway spot for two. Walk to a small public beach. We ventured a bit further with no issues. No oven or microwave but we made due just fine with cooktop and bbq. Bring a cooler for beverages as fridge in kitchen is small. Nice hot tub in back yard. Communication with owner was good.

Sweet quiet retreat on WA Peninsula

We were looking for relaxing chill week away -- this was perfect. Brad, our host, was friendly, courteous, and responsive. It was obvious he wanted us to enjoy our stay. It's a pleasant short walk to the shore. Plenty of day trip options (Dungness Spit, Olympia NP, Port Townsend for a start). Great location if you enjoy cycling -- look up Olympic Discovery Trail, we were glad we brought our bikes. Between the stove, frig, and toaster oven (and a small charcoal grill we packed) food prep was a snap. Lots of local produce stands -- Sunny Farms grocery is an excellent find. Plus fun places to eat in town. And you'll love the shower!

Awful Experience!!

We reserved the property for December 24-26th. Upon check-in - everything seemed fine. The next morning, there was no running water. I contacted the host to ask what the issue could be - he had me look into a couple of things that could be causing the issue - but could find no resolution. The fact that the host seemed to have some idea what the issue could be leads me to believe that this is a known issue that has happened before and could have been prevented. With it being Christmas day - host couldn't find a plumber to come out and try to fix the issue. Host suggested we check in to a hotel - but this seemed an unreasonable suggestion for us with it being Christmas and having a dog with us - plus - we had already paid to stay at this property. We found a grocery store that was open and bought several gallons of water for drinking and to refill the toilets so they could be flushed and decided staying was our best option. The morning of the 26th - plumbers showed up and seemed to know exactly where to go and what the issue was - another fact that leads me to believe that the issue with running water has occurred before and that the owner is aware of the issue. During a phone conversation after our stay - host agreed to refund all but the cleaning fee for the major inconvenience of being without running water for 24 hours of our stay. Even though we had agreed on a certain refund amount - host only refunded half of what was agreed and told me that was all he could do and that I would need to reach out to Vrbo for any additional refund. I called Vrbo and was told that only the property host could issue refunds - this means that the host blatantly lied to me regarding the refund. I then messaged the host asking for the additional refund - which began a chain of harassing messages back to me - here are some of the host's responses: "I did what you asked... you deal with vrbo. They are never on my side to help with anything" "I suggest you change your tune next time. You are extremely rude" "I told you to leave, get a hotel. You stayed" "Go ask vrbo for your money back" The host outright lied to me - twice. I believe that the water issue on his property is a problem known to him - yet he still allows people to pay money to stay there and refuses to offer a reasonable refund for their inconvenience when they are left without running water. Not recommended.

Our vrbo stay was overall good - specifically the location & amenities worked great for us! However, it was not as clean as we had hoped, specifically some bugs & stinky, but clean bath towels.

This is a cute little place, great location, nice neighbors. The owner was nice, accommodating and responsive, though we didnt need to reach out beyond getting checkin details. The only minor disappointment was the condition of the outdoor/hottub area. It's not being maintained and looked nothing like the pictures in the listing. Weeds have overtaken the yard and deck, outdoor furniture was missing all the cushions and the fire feature doesnt work, but the hot tub worked great!

Loved it!

Our stay here was awesome! We made great memories and had a cute little getaway spot to rest and recharge. The enclosed backyard and hot tub were a major plus. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

The Saloon

This is so cute and was perfect for us! The host was very fast with communication. Great location. Very clean and everything was labeled well. The hot tub was amazing, again very clean! We will be staying here again for sure. It's a small place, so the fridge is very small. That's the only "negative" about this place. Just bring a cooler for drinks and you'll be fine. I'm excited to visit again. Thanks Brad!!

39th Wedding Anniversary trip was a 5 star!

Very nice property! It was exactly like represented; quiet neighborhood, far enough away to feel secluded. Owner is very respectful and kind. Would stay again someday.

Perfect!!

This place was a great stay, close to many outdoor adventures! The house was clean, well labeled and stocked with all the essentials! Private and relaxing backyard space was a great way to unwind after a day full of exploring Olympic National Park. Would highly recommend! Brad was quick to respond to any questions and super helpful!

11 year Anniversary trip

Traveled up here from Olympia for our 11 year anniversary and it was beautiful! Gorgeous drive and awesome walking into such a beautiful, cozy home. The bed was so comfortable and the hot tub was spectacular and so relaxing. 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again!

Cozy and Comfortable

We had a wonderful stay…Brad was responsive and helpful from the time we made reservations and all the way through to time of check-in. The property is clean, quiet and very comfortable. We are thinking about making a return trip to the area and when we do, we hope it’s available for our next trip.
