We are repeat guests. We love the cabin…it’s clean, comfortable. Has everything you need in the kitchen and having 2 bathrooms is wonderful! One of the selling points for us was the free use of a 4 seater golf cart we could use to explore the trails on the multi acre property. I have no hesitation recommending this location.

We booked this cabin so our city puppy could run off leash. We absolutely loved this massive property! It felt like having a campground all to ourselves! Beautiful property and trails with tons to keep you busy we only left to go to the grocery store.

The cabin and property were wonderful! We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch and really enjoyed the golf cart and trails. It was also very pet friendly, even had a dog closet with supplies in case you forgot something for your pup. We had a great stay!

10/10! John & Sandra have a beautiful property, lovely, clean cabin, and everything you could think of was there for us and ready to use. We stayed over the weekend and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Their property and the nicely groomed trails are a dream, especially since they are pet friendly, so my dog was able to enjoy his freedom on the trails with us too. We also really enjoyed taking the golf cart out and checking out all the views and beautiful fall leaves!The home is decorated so nicely, it has that perfect, cozy feeling. Our stay was so relaxing and everything I could have hoped for. We will definitely plan to return!

Very clean and well appointed house. Location was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this property. We went up for a girls trip and the extra bonus of the golf cart with available trails to ride on was very enjoyable. Had a beautiful screened in porch which we used a lot, due to the horse and deer flies that were out in force. I would definitely stay there again.

The Woodland Trails Cabin is clean and comfortable. The amenities are abundant. The screened porch is a wonderful room for many activities. The use of the garage is a plus.

Well appointed cabin that’s exceptionally well stocked for visiting dogs. The walking paths were the highlight for us — they outshined nearby St. Croix State Park!

If you're looking for peace, privacy, comfort, and a chance to enjoy nature, this is an excellent choice. If you're seeking a busy, party-focused atmosphere, you're probably better off staying in Canal Park or at one of the Brainerd-area resorts. We spent two days here in the cabin, which is actually a very nice three-bedroom, two-bath home with a detached garage. The property includes a golf cart, bikes, and access to paddle boats and canoes on the pond, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. There are also several miles of well-maintained trails to explore by golf cart or bike. Plenty of wood is provided for campfires, which we enjoyed in the evenings. There is a second rental on the property, but the homes are far enough apart that we never saw or heard the other guests during our stay. We will certainly be returning.

This is the perfect place for a girls weekend. I was amazed to see the biggest bird feeder I have ever seen. We counted 16 in the Charm of Goldfinches though there were probably more. We also saw three types of woodpeckers, cat birds, hummingbirds, house finches, red breasted grosbeaks and we heard loons. There was also a scurry of at least 16 squirrels

We love being able to walk right out the door and hit the hiking trails. We've been here multiple times and will keep coming back. We even found a trail or two that we hadn't explored before and we hike quite a bit each time we are there.Watching the wildlife out the windows is great!We were very grateful for the early checkin so we could get out hiking on our first night there.The pups love it too.

This was our fourth stay at the cabin and it was as wonderful as always. We loved using the snowshoes out on the trails and coming back to our cozy cabin to cook dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. The cleanliness is also top notch.

Fantastic cabin in a very serene setting! The cabin and setting are even nicer in real life than the pictures convey. Very clean and well-stocked with nice touches of hospitality.
