We had a wonderful time at this property. Has everything you need at the property. Super clean, easy walk to the Village and about a 10-minute walk to the beach. He has a wagon there you can use that makes walking to the beach very easy.

Wonderful property that is very well taken care of. It had every convenience we needed with a laundry area, multiple outside sitting areas, a private dock across the street, beach gear, and a fully appointed kitchen, WiFi, coffee station, and outdoor shower. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay- the walk to the beach and to the downtown shops is quick, the house is comfortable and super clean, the backyard is a relaxing area and the canal across the street is really cool. The host was welcoming and informative about the area. We had a wonderful time staying there for new year's :)

This place had everything you could need! It was clean, well maintained, and had was a great place to call home while we were on vacation. Short walk to the shops and food in Siesta Key village, as well as the beach. The kitchen had everything you could need, and the outdoor grill was great! Big variety of beach chairs and other accessories! The host is super easy to communicate and made the process super smooth. We would recommend this place to everyone, and would 100% stay here again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Breeze! The walk to the Village and the beach were very reasonable and we rarely got in our car. The house offered everything we needed for our stay and it couldn’t be set up any better than it is. Our stay was very relaxing and just what we needed, and we are very much looking forward already to our stay next year that was booked before we left. Jim was a great host and always available if needed. Island Breeze is a 10/10!

Awesome Stay!

This cottage/house is even better than the pictures. Jim is a great host and easy to communicate with. Easy walk to the beach and village and has everything you need for a great vacation. We had a wonderful time here, so don't hesitate to book.

Love our stay at Island Breeze

We had a great time staying in Jim's house. The house has a short walk to the village and has short walk to beach. The house has a great beach theme. The house had all the beach gear we needed, chairs, cooler, umbrella, boogie board and sand castle toys for the kids. We would highly recommend staying here.

This VRBO was outstanding from start to finish! (My mouth actually dropped as I walked in the door!) The host was truly fantastic—easily the best we’ve ever had. Communication was fast, clear, and extra friendly, which made everything seamless and stress-free. The accommodations were amazing: exceedingly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described (honestly, even better). You can tell the host really cares about providing a great experience. We will definitely be staying here again and HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional stay.

Summer’24

What a super vacation spot! The home had everything we expected and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the right tools. Cooking was so easy and convenient. The entire place was clean and in working order. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations at a great price! Siesta Key was a real treat.

First family vacation

We were so sad to leave! This was our very first family vacation with our 3 year old and 11 month old, Jim was so accommodating!! He had awesome recommendations for the family and his property offered everything that you could possibly need for your stay! The location is PERFECT. We loved going to the beach daily and just being minutes away from town and the beach. Jim was the perfect host, we appreciate his kindness and going above and beyond. I’d book any of his locations again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful house in paradise!

This house was everything it stated it was, we were not disappointed! Clean, well-maintained, good-size bedrooms, sunny lanai with a large backyard on a quiet street. Although it might look small on the outside it is a spacious 2-bedroom on the inside! Location is perfect, a short walk to the village and beach. Added bonus a dock across the street to enjoy while watching the fish jump! The owner Jim is very helpful and responsive--a delight! Total relaxation and did not have to worry about anything! Highly recommend!

Quaint little cottage

My husband, myself and oldest son visited for a week. The place is so cute, fully stocked and close proximity to everything. Met the owner and he was very nice and humble with a little twist of humor 😊 We ventured all around Siestsa Key and Sarasota. We Shopped, went to the beaches, watched the sunrise and sunset, went shell hunting and ate at many wonderful little restaurants. We took many walks through the neighborhood and all over the area. Had a spectacular time!!! Can’t wait to do it all over again!! The cottage was a great place to stay!! The owner is top notch!!

Best of Both Worlds

This was a great place with perfect location. Close enough to walk to all the action at the beach and the North Village restaurants and bars but far enough away to have a quiet space to relax. Jim was great the whole time with communication, even let us know if wanted to get in a day earlier that it was available. He also alerted us to some clothes we left behind after checkout so we could swing back to pick them up. He was top notch. This place is perfect for 2-4 people. It looks small from the outside but there is plenty of room to spread out with the living room, kitchen and dining area. We were also very impressed with the nice outdoor patio area. There were many beach items available at the house that we took advantage of and used to get down to the beach (carts, chairs, 2 umbrellas, coolers, etc…). Would definitely stay at this place again.

The perfekt cottage for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Our stay on Siesta Key was wonderful! The cottage was very clean. It is furnished with love and offers everything you could wish for. Stuff for beach visits and even a grill can be used. Our host was also very friendly and accommodating. His tips are great! We would come back anytime. Unser aufenthalt auf Siesta key war wunderschön. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber. Es ist mit viel liebe eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Sachen für Strandbesuche und sogar ein Grill können genutzt werden. Unser Gastgeber war außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Seine Tipps sind super! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Florida trip

Good location. Convenient to village restaurants and entertainment. Beach is close however never walked it due to recent foot surgery. Lucky for us it was not to crowed and could always get parking.House was perfect for our needs glad to have outside shower since only one bathroom. House well stocked with all cooking needs.Jim gave easy to follow home entry instructions.

Excellent location

We really enjoyed our time at “Island Breeze”. The owner even called us the day we were due to arrive to tell us we could check in early if we wanted to since the place was cleaned! We ended up getting there kind of late & were confused about the lock combo so we called Jim. He called us right back & explained. This rental is an easy walk to the village & the beach. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Florida in November is the best!

Picked this location because we wanted to walk everywhere. Great location for the Public Beach and the Village. Just don’t break your foot before you go, it really puts a damper on getting around. The house was very spacious with anything you could need. The only complaint would be the house had an odor that wasn’t too pleasant. With that said we would come back again. Florida in November is awesome!!! Just don’t tell anyone that.

Great location!

Amazing location. We brought our bikes and didn't get in the car unless we were leaving the island or dressed up for dinner. Everything is close, the market, beach and village with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Beach Access #7 was our go to but 5 is close too. Sunsets on the beach were amazing. The house was perfect for our family. It's bigger than the pictures make it appear and so well stocked with way more than you would expect. There was olive oil, spices, Tupperware, beach towels, beach chairs, toys, a beach cart, boogie board, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, clothes hampers, clothes drying rack and lots of hangers! Jim is such a great host. He brought us an extra fishing pole so my husband and kids didn't have to share. There was a newlywed couple that stayed in the Surf Shack (house behind the house) and they told us Jim had set out a bottle of champagne for them on the night they arrived. Just a really thoughtful guy. My parents stayed in the Surf Shack for the last 2 weeks of our month stay and there's a hidden gate in the fence that can be opened between the two properties otherwise no privacy issues. Caught quite a few fish in the canal including sheepshead, mangrove snapper, snook and a tarpon. Great month, great memories at the the Island Breeze.

Great Siesta Key rental; cozy, clean, and convenient. The owner Jim was very helpful.

Rental really has all you need...for cooking, entertaining, and beach trips. Great Siesta Key value. I wish I trusted other reviews, and we would have not brought chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc... Also, thanks Jim for the updates on the constantly changing weather conditions while we were there.

Perfect location

The cottage is in a great location, being able to walk to the village and beach. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the private backyard.

Can't wait to return!

Everything was fabulous! Location is great. Quick bike ride away from the village or beach and away from the noise of the village. Backyard is great for relaxing and grilling. Everything you need is already here. This was our third stay with Jim. He is always super responsive and great with providing tips and answering any questions. Can't wait to visit again!
