We love On Golden Pond

Second time staying. Plan to return next year. Love the area and being on the lagoon, near the pass, and having the pier.

Loved the lagoon front. Will be back!

We had a good time, weather was a bit colder and windy. Definitely will be back with the parents and siblings. My son had a good time fishing as well.

Pricing was fair,floors were nasty still had sand on them first day there kids feet were black from the dirty floors had to clean there feet before letting them get in the bedView was great of the lagoon over all great place

Glad On Golden Pond #5 was a great place overall, that the pricing felt fair, and that you enjoyed that lagoon view — it's one of my favorites--those sunsets are better than the beachfront! Really sorry about the floors on arrival, though. A beach house will always have a little sand sneak in, bringing all the stuff in from gravel driveway and more, but I'm surprised the little ones' feet were dirty. I've relayed it to my gang on the ground to tighten up the floor pass on turnovers. I don't see a note come through during the stay — did you send one? I want to make sure a ball wasn't dropped, because a quick re-clean the first day is exactly the kind of thing we'd have jumped on. Thanks for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ despite the rough start, and for the honest feedback — that's how OGP gets better. Reach out anytime, or when you're ready to set up a return! Thanks again! 🙏

Great for the grands!

Every thing was great. This was probably our 5th or 6th time to stay in this house so we know it well. I've been vacationing in Gulf Shores since the 70's with my parents & grandparents. Now I'm the grandmother and get to enjoy vacations with my children & grandchildren. We love the pier for fishing, the bay for kayaking and paddle boarding & the inlet for days the waves at the beach are too rough for the youngest grand. [🥳 Thanks Cathy! I am so glad you had a great time (again!)! I too used to love the little lagoon beach and dock when the kids were smaller... still do for the sunsets! 🌅 So happy to hear that OGP5 has continued to meet and exceed all your needs! Great location! The views from the house were beautiful and only took us about 10 minutes to get to the beach. The kitchen was stocked well. Plenty of seating for a large group.

I think the sunsets from the back deck are some of the best... even better than the beachfront ones! And that super convenient trail nearby for a little nature wander.... plus... community pool, lagoon beach, fishing dock, all right there! And of course, as you mentioned, its a very short stroll to the public gulf beach access too! So happy you all were able to enjoy all of this and more! Our favorite house so far!

The house was in a great location. We love being able to fish from the dock and walk the short distance to the beach. The community pool was terrific too. This was our favorite house so far in all of our trips to the beach!

We had a wonderful stay at Rick & Susan’s! We had plenty of room too! We didn’t have any issues while we were there and Tick & Susan are wonderful to work with! We would recommend their properties to anyone and will be looking to stay again after Christmas hopefully!

Peaceful and quiet — beach is walkable!

Everything just as described. We added a day after we were there. Very nice place really peaceful and quite not a lot of noise. Very helpful to add the extra day easy to get.
